It was a little pricey but they did a great job.

The outside GFCI outlet (which runs our pond and keeps the fish alive) blew out again a few days after Tom had replaced it and Tom promptly returned to replace again it at no additional charge. A month later it blew again and Tom returned within a few days and this time traced the problem to another outlet and fixed the problem at its source at no additional charge. He was professional courteous at all times as was the young man in the office who fielded my calls. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

The electricians arrived exactly on time. They worked very systematically, identifying all areas of outlet and switch placement/replacement before begining the work. The job took approximately 7 hours between 2 men (this is consistent with what I was told over the phone when requesting an estimate). The electricians were both friendly and knowledgeable. The work was excellent and I would definitely recommend Autumn Electric and I plan to use them again for additional electrical work in my home.

We were happy with them. They were very good and professional. They were good people and they did a good job. We spent $2400 on the job. They took care of other minor things for us. We will hire them again in the future.

On time, on budget, with a single project manager/POC who carried the whole job from start to finish. On a couple of areas I might give an A-, but since Angies List doesn't let you do that, I'm happy giving the straight-up A. Minor miscommunications about work scope and hiccups in coordination (which are inevitable) were dealt with directly and fairly, and the Autumn guys seemed to be all about getting problems solved, rather than looking for disputes and issues to prompt expensive change orders. Very satisfied.

I like using Autumn because the company is local. All of the electricians that came to my house had worked for Autumn for years. They all displayed expert knowledge in their field and were able to resolve all of the issues. The work was done professionally and I plan on using them in the future. .

They are excellent people. Provided excellent work. Our house is older and the ground work that was done was superior. They're super. They needed to drill through walls, they would tell me ahead of time exactly what they were going to do and the price of what they were going to do before they did it. They cleaned up afterwards. The manner was great; attentive, mannerly, and upfront. Our plumber and our painter commented on how great the work was done.

They installed a switch to make it easier to use. It was quite a great deal of work with all of the wiring involved. They were able to complete my project with little disturbance. I would highly recommend them for any electrical needs.

Extremely responsive- called and spoke immediately with someone equipped to provide a quote and talk about schedule. I called back later in the day and they were able to send someone out the next day. The Electrician showed up about 30 minutes early (which was fine as I was home). He worked hard to finish what was an ugly job, given the temperature in our attic during a hot day. He overcame a number of challenges in doing the work, and handled them without making them "my" problem. I was quoted "$150 to $175 per fan", but was charged a flat rate of $200 each after the work was done. Given the amount of time the electrician was there I didn't begrudge him the money, but in this particular case communication could have been a little better (otherwise it was excellent). I will certainly call Autumn again in the future if I need more electrical work done, and will be sure to make sure pricing is explained more specifically.

They were absolutely great. The guy went out of his way to actually fix this problem. I could not have been any happier with the work that they did for me.

They did really good quality work. It turned out that the wall was thinner, but he found a way to work around the problem and got and outlet box that was not as deep and ended up making it work. We paid about $350 for that work. I phone that day and they came out and I was surprised. We will be using them again next month.

Chris did a fantastic job. Very prompt, curteous and professional. Cleaned everything up before he left. Great work! He's now our "go to" electrician.

Appeared promptly for the coordinating efforts with NOVEC and providing an estimated in meeting the requirements placed on them to enable a timely closing on the sale of the property.

My second use of Autumn. The owner promptly responds to phone messages, they are able to send someone within a reasonable time and the electrician knows his stuff. I do not have a good feel for the reasonableness of their pricing, but seems to be in line with "the going rate."

Overall, it went very well and I am pleased with the quality of their work. They brought in a whole crew and knocked it out in 1 day as opposed to the 1.5-2 days that they estimated. Although the master electrician that performed the estimate was not on the job site they did have someone in charge that managed all operations. They were courteous and responsive to requests. The one negative that is worth pointing out is that they ran the electrical run to the attic via a completely different path than we agreed upon. This resulted in a much longer run with two punch outs which required faceplates (one in the soffit of a recently finished basement) -- neither would have been necessary if they followed the agreed-upon plan. Obviously, this would not have happened if the person performing the estimates would have been on site or performed a site walk-through with the site foreman.

On time, professional, fair price though higher than others and he came out immediately and again a few days later to check the work after the HVAC was replaced.

We bought a house that had some major electrical problems and we were recommended Autumn Electric by a family member. Their estimate was much better than Michael and Sons. We were told it would be a three day project and it only took 2 days and came in less than the estimate we received because some of the work on the estimate ended up not needing to be done. All of the employees we have had contact with are very friendly and knowledgeable and all of our calls were returned promptly. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Very good, the technician was very pleasant and professional. In addition, when I first called about another problem, they offered a soloution to help over the phone. This was very generous of them, and helped educate me about my system so I could try fixing it myself.

FABULOUS. The work was done perfectly and efficiently. The electrician suggested installing a new outlet on a new circuit for safety purposes. I was very very happy with the suggestion and results. Would highly recommend this company.

AE called me within 10 minutes after my inquiry from Angie's List. They were able to send an electrician (Tom) the same morning. Tom was quick, friendly, and kept the work area very clean. I would definitely use Autumn Electric again.

Autumn promptly responded to my request to provide an estimate. Since this was a major job, I obtained estimates from two other electrical contractors. Autumn's was not the lowest bid, but the lowest bid was incomplete and failed to describe anything beyond the panel replacement. In contrast, Autumn's proposal thoughtfully outlined each element of the job in reasonably sufficient detail, and broke down the cost for each element. You could see that the pricing was reasonable for each element, especially when compared with the third bid, which had the same level of detail, but certain elements were unreasonably overpriced or left open-ended. Autumn's bid was a professional proposal that contained payment terms and their statement that they would do a professional job in accordance with standard practices. And they did. After I signed the agreement, Autumn promptly scheduled the work, showed up on time, and did an extremely professional job. I am no electrician, but I could tell that they really cared about getting the job done right. They were extremely courteous and explained how they were going to approach the job. They also got the job done in accordance with their schedule, a full day and a half. I have used at least four other electrical service companies over the last ten years in Northern Virginia, but Autumn is head and shoulders above the rest. They were terrific, and I would recommend them to anyone.

I was very happy with the master electrician that came over. When I told him what I wanted he was very careful to take good notes. However, the electrician they sent to do the work didn't seem to have the confidence that the previous man had. I had to have them come back because they didn't properly ground an outlet and it did not pass inspection. I didn't feel that he knew what the local inspection required. I felt the electrician that did the work should have known the VA codes if they work in VA. They were quick to return and solve the problem. They are very responsive and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

The estimate was performed by the owner of the company, who was very accommodating in scheduling his site visit, and punctual in showing up for the appointment. His crew was equally punctual when they came to do the work. The supervisor was professional, courteous, and easy to communicate with. Our house is 50-yrs old, and I understood that the project would require many holes to be cut in our walls in order to run new circuits. The holes were cleanly cut and neatly plugged for the follow-on painters to patch & paint, and the house was left clean and orderly at the end of each day of the 2-day job. Work completed as promised and on time. Top-notch overall.

They were really good. I have had some bad experiences in the past with other companies, and they do a great job every time. They have just done basic electric work for me. I was really impressed with them.
