Autumn Electric Co Inc

I had work done at my house on 4/29. Let me say upfront that the electrician was a nice guy and I have no complaints about his work. My complaint is that when I called to set up the appointment I was assured that the electrician would have everything that he needed on his truck for my job. The work involved splicing a 220 volt wire near the ground level next to my house. I even emailed a picture of the wire and it's relative location and described that the wire ran at least about 25 yards underground. The appointment was scheduled for 11:00 - 12:00 PM. The electrician called me at a little after 12:00 and told me that he was running late and would be at my house by 1:00 PM. He told me he had seen the pictures I had emailed the company. He did ask me what gage wire I needed replaced. I told him that I didn't know and went outside to look at the wire, but could not find any markings on the wire as to the gage. The electrician showed up around 1:15 PM and looked at the work to be done. After inspecting the wire he determined that the wire was 8 gage wire and that he would have to run to the parts store in Merrifield for the wire. He was gone about an hour. After returning he did the repairs and prepared the bill. I was disappointed that I was charged for the travel time. I feel that since I had given as much information as I did that the truck should have carried the necessary wire. The cost of the repair was an extra $100 because of the hour that the electrician was gone. I wrote the company and asked that they give me a partial refund and they did not respond.

They are very good. The technician is excellent and did a terrific job. He was very careful about my house and the chandelier. He was on time. He was very professional. He cleaned up everything. He was really good. I would use them again in the future.

Absolutely great and will keep them on my go-to list. I called and the appointment was made. He came out, evaluated the work and provided some options with recommendations based on our exterior lights. I opted for placing the motion-sensors on our existing exterior lights off the patio doors of our first floor fenced-in back yard and off the second floor deck area. The work took about 1 1/2 hours. He was great, professional, worked quickly, and explained what he was doing throughout the process. A definite contractor to keep. Thank you.

Even though I don’t specifically remember how much Autumn Electric Co. Inc charged us, I remember that they were very reasonable. I got several other estimates and theirs were the lowest of all. When I had talked to other companies about putting in the lamp post, I had been told that I needed to get a lamp that had the sensor pre installed in it or else I will not be able get it done. I had also been told by someone else that I would have to dig the hole for them to put in the lamp post. However Autumn Electric Co. Inc did all of that as a part of the service within the estimated cost. I really appreciate that. They were on time. They were prompt. Everything has worked perfectly till date. The quality of their work has been outstanding. They were very responsive. They were very professional. In fact my neighbor was so impressed with the way they handled things for us that they ended up hiring them for some work at their house. I would absolutely consider using them again in the future.

We have had the same technician everytime, which has been wonderful since he knows the house and the work he had performed in the past. Unfortunately, the last time we used Autumn with this same technician he had to come back 3 or 4 times to complete the job and then he got beige instead of white. We again called last week and set up an appointment for today to do similar work. The scheduler called this morning and said the same technician would not be able to come out because he is stuck on another job that will take the rest of the day. The scheduler did not offer another technician and commented that the schedule is very tight and so they can not fit me in today. I have decided not to use them anymore.

In conjunction with the sale of our home, the purchaser had a home inspection that revealed the outlets in the bathrooms were not GFI protected. We were working under a tight deadline and we needed an electrical company that could provide a timely estimate and start the work right away. We contacted Autumn Electric Co. via their on-line request form. They called us within two days with an estimate and came by later the same day to complete the work. Autumn Electric Co. provided quick, professional service at a fair price. We would definitely recommend Autumn Electric Co. for their responsiveness and for their excellent work. We were particularly impressed that despite this being a small job, Autumn Electric Co. was still extremely responsive.

They were very efficient. They were punctual. They worked well. The final result was excellent.

- Very professional from start to finish. - Very thorough - Arrived early for the estimate (no small feat as we live in Tysons Corner), provided a thorough estimate, including asking questions about where we would like the lights placed, how the switches will control the lights, etc. Very careful to ensure that we were aware of what services they would and would not perform (e.g. will move and cover furniture before work, will move furniture back at the end of the day and clean up; will not patch drywall or retouch paint). - Very responsive. After receiving the bid on email, I emailed back a few questions on a Sat afternoon. By Sun morning, Autumn Electric responded via email. Based on my experience, I will use Autumn again!

They came on time. They came at the moment they said they would. He came in and he could do everything that needed to be done that day.

The work was done effeciently and cleanly for a quite reasonable price. The technician, Tom, showed up on time and was very pleasant. Most importantantly to me is that when I asked him what would be the best way for me to go with the lighting he gave me great advice and helped me pick out the appropriate fixtures. My shop is now much better lit (and safer) than before. I certainly would use them again.

Not much to tell - they gave me the best price of the three companies who looked at the job, they came when they said they would, they hit their estimate with the exception of one change that was obviously not their fault and was well explained. Will use (have used, actually) again.

They did a sensational job. They went out of their way to reattach it. They couldn't get to it with a ladder, but the guy actually hung outside a window to reattach it. I was very grateful, they were really really good. It was certainly worth the price, she had a minimum hourly charge.

Excellent estimate services and repairs. Autumn Electric's estimator took plenty of time to examine the attic fan and the electricity meter. He described the necessary repairs and accurately outlined projected expenses. The contracted work took place on schedule and met our expectations. The attic repair was not a simple, easily accessed replacement. We were very pleased with the work and the cost was reasonable considering the labor and parts involved.

The company replaced the attic fan and installed several GFCI outlets. They were excellent in timeliness, price, responsiveness and very friendly and helpful. I heartily endorse this enterprise.

I had a new dryer and other items that required better electrical service than we had. They were wonderful to work with and they come to mind when ever I thing of positive experiences in my life. If you want someone you can rely on this is the company. They provided a respectful, quality and professional service. They offer excellent advice and make positive suggestions about alternative options regarding service. I could not be happier. I have sent them to my friends as a positive referral as well. They were quite happy too.

Terrific service. Not perfect communication, since they didn't call to tell me they had found the new blade. I definitely will use them again.

Pat and Eduardo were on time and very professional. All the work was top-notch. They were neat and worked quickly. The ceiling fan install was competitive, as was their follow-on hourly rate. Would use them again, definitely.

Contacted Autumn Electric and received an appointment shortly thereafter. The technician arrived on-time and easily addressed the issue, repairing the wiring and answering all of my questions.

Everything went like clockwork. He made moving the fixture simpler than I had expected. Only negative is that he left bits of clipped wire on the floor at some of the outlets.

Chris arrived right on time and despite some surprises during the job completed the work efficiently within a few hours. He was responsive and listened closely and was very nice. When it turned out that the remote control system I had purchased for the fan (despite being the same brand as the fan!) wouldn't work with the fan he explained the reason why clearly so I could make a decision on how to proceed. Ultimately I returned the remote system and just use the wall mounted switches. Overall the new fan looks great and I thought the price for the installation was more than fair.

Chris came to our home to troubleshoot dead outlets in our garage. He was able to link the outage to a bathroom outlet on the far end of the home. The best part of the service visit was the knowledge and explanations provided. We have had several "quirky" electrical issues that have gone unexplained for years. He was able to find the issues and explain properly. When they ran the dedicated circuit, they had to cut into the drywall. They did so with little to no mess and properly replaced the dry wall when they were done. There is still more work to be done and we will definitely use

Excellent, it was the same installer who came out last time. We called on Monday and they did the work that Wednesday. He was fantastic and very professional. The work was outstanding and fast. I have recommended Autumn Electric to all my friends. I found this company on Angie's list and everything was as advertised and more!

They came out and assessed the job, gave us an estimate, and then came to do the work within 1-2 weeks. They finished the same day, and cleaned everything up upon completion. We were very happy with their work.

Chris arrived on time for his appointment. He checked the attic fan to see if it could be repaired and then replaced the entire fan. He earned every penny spent on his time and efforts in 90 - 100 degree weather.. Chris then advised me on the timer to use and set up an appointment for the following day so that he could obtain the timers and not hold up my whole day. (This was a last minute request and Chris was excellent to work with.) Chris was very professional and courteous. I would recommend this company and will use them as my first call for future work.
