The electrician arrived during the time window I had arranged with Autumn Electric. He took down a dining room chandelier, 2 light fixtures in the entry way, and a light fixture in the stairway to the basement. He installed a new chandelier, two flush mount light fixtures for the entry way, and another flush mount fixture for the stairway. He was very careful in moving the dining room table out of the way and he let me take my time evaluating the exact height for the placement of the chandelier. He emphasized the importance of not trying to use stronger light bulbs than what was indicated on the fixtures. I would hire Autumn Electric Co, Inc. again for future electrical work at my home.

It went well. I am totally satisfied. Autumn is a very responsive company.

I was very satisfied with Autumn Electric. The estimator was on time and professional and provided an email with the estimate the same day. Work was of high quality; price was reasonable. Will definitely call them again if/when I need electric work done.

The price was given over the phone, the tech arrived very quickly, and everything went very smoothly. I needed to supply power to an exterior device and the easiest way was to splice into an existing circuit, drill a hole in masonry walls and run the power supply through the wall. evrything is working just fine.

Autumn Electric installed a Generac generator. They provided an estimate in November with a suggested start date of December 9th which did not happen because of licence problems in Maryland. They rescheduled for January. They called around a week before they came. It was suppose to take 3-4 days but because of weather and issues they discovered, it took around 14 days. The crew was very competent and informed us of what they were doing and why they had to do what they were doing. My wife wanted the generator located in a spot that was not as visible and they did what they could to respond to her requests. I would use Autumn Electric and have already suggested them to friends that want to put in a generator.

They were quick and responsive. They met the current electrical codes and did it at a reasonable price.

I would recommend Autumn Electric Company. This company is excellent. They did an excellent job. They keep you up to date, they keep calling to make sure everything is okay, and we had to postpone a few times due to the emergencies related to Hurricane Sandy but they always called me. They are on time, the 2 guys who were here were master electricians, easy to work with, very knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything, and I had absolutely no complaints what so ever. I would give them an A+. Their price was in the same range with the other companies that I priced the job with. They will be doing the annual scheduled maintenance. If I have any other electrical work in the house I will use them, because they were excellent.

The whole experience was good. When I call Autumn Electric and spoke to Daryl he was very friendly and pleasant. Daryl answered my many questions and set up my appointment - which was set for the following week. After we hung up he called me back to tell me someone had cancelled their appointment and offered to come the next day. My electrician was Rick. He was very friendly, explained my options for the installation. He was very informative. The job was done in a very timely manner. He was neat, there was no mess left behind. The finished job met and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely us this company again.

We worked with Dave Barsotti, owner, who provided a very well documented and supported proposal. We did not use Autumn Electric for the sole reason that the proposed generator (Generac) did not fit the space available. Otherwise, Dave was extremely professional and furnished information that we would have not readily known regarding standby generators. He advised us on the electrical and fire codes, to include furnishing us copies of the code that pertained. He readily understood the dilemma we faced and offered alternatives. While we ended up selecting another proposal that resolved the space issue for us with a different brand generator, we will consider using Autumn for future electrical work since we appreciate people who are above-board and honest in their dealings.

We called Autumn Electric on the recommendation of our auto repair man. We left a message on Autumn's voice mail; they returned our call the next day and explained estimated costs for the two outdoor outlets and the per-hour charge for diagnostic work. We scheduled the work to occur about ten days later. On the designated day, Rick the electrician called us to say he was ahead of schedule, and could he arrive sooner than agreed. We had no problem with that. Rick arrived and set to work, a very personable and friendly fellow. He first tackled the nonfunctioning indoor circuit, checking all the outlets for power and the circuit breaker. He surmised there was likely a short somewhere in the circuit, and managed to locate it in about ten minutes. Repair complete, circuit now working. Rick went on to explain installation options for the two outdoor outlets, one for the front yard and one for the back. We agreed on locations for the outlets, and Rick completed the installation quickly. Following installation, he explained the operation of the outlets and how to test/reset the ground fault interrupter feature of the outlets. He cleaned up all the wire clippings and residue from drilling through the masonry walls. He was finished with the work within a couple of hours, and we felt that $350 was a very fair price for the competent and timely work performed. Autumn Electric in general and Rick in particular treated us in a courteous and professional manner throughout the process.

We were given a two-hour window, and the repairman arrived before the two hours were up. He was very polite and professional, quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the breaker. Autumn's price was lower by $20 that what we were charged for identical work by another contractor when we had new wall ovens installed several weeks earlier. We would definitely use Autumn Electric again. It was a pleasure dealing with a small, local, family business.

In the past they also put a generator in my house. This company also did a lot of other electric work including putting in an 8-camera security system around my house and replacing some ceiling fans. The technician that came, Phil, was an incredible engineer/technician. He was first class and I have his cell phone number; my husband has him on speed dial.

As usual, Autumn Electric showed up on time, with the right equipment and supplies. Several of the outlets had been infested by ants and spiders. Chris took the boxes apart, renewed the outlets and light sockets as needed, and installed new, gasket covers. The work took about 3 hours and when Chris was done, he cleaned up everything to perfection. I have used Autumn Electric for work at other properties, but this was the first time they have worked in my own home. Simply excellent service, every time!

The service rep was polite and efficient. He cleaned up after himself and noticed a problem with the wall switch for the ceiling fan which he corrected. He called a Fairfax County inspector to ask about a question I had about grounding work that was done on a new gas fireplace insert that had been previously installed and inspected. I was pleased with the work and pleasantly surprised that it didn't cost very much.

After all the power outages we have faced over the years, we decided to buy a generator. Instead of running individual extension cords into the house to power a few things we wanted something better than that, but were not ready to spend $5k-10k for a transfer switch. Somebody suggested the interlock device which works largely like a manual transfer switch. We called for a couple estimates and felt Autumn Electric was best for the job. They were very easy to communicate with and either answered the phone when called, or quickly returned calls and emails. On the day of the install, they showed up on time, and the gentleman who did the installation was very pleasant. We walked through where everything was inside and outside of the house and then he got to work. He respectfully put down drop cloth in the work area and warned us about the noise for the few minutes he would be drilling. When he was done with the installation, we did a live run through the whole process including starting up the generator and switching everything on and off, first with him doing it then with me doing it so I knew exactly how to do so. He was very patient to answer all of our questions and make sure we were satisfied before he left. A big thank you to AU and I would not hesitate to use them again.

Dave Barsotti (master electrician) did considerable research to find the best generator to support my house, especially the high amp surge rate of my A/C. Phil Clements (master electrician) did the installation. They are an exceptionally outstanding organization, and this job was highly professional in all respects.The proof of the pudding? Huricane Sandy left my neighborhood without power for 16 hours, but not me. That 20kw generator started right up and we had power the entire time.

We have been pleased each time they do a job for us. They are consistently thorough in their assessment of the job, give us an honest estimate, work in a professional manner with a real focus on safety, complete the work on time and do a good job. Their services are not inexpensive, but it is nice to feel confident in their work. We will call them again for any electrical job we have.

Autumn Electric is great. Their staff are professional, knowledgeable, and effective. The first time we called them was after our dryer stopped working. The gentleman who fixed the outlet and fuse along with a couple of other electrical issues around the house, was very good about explaining what he was doing, why the problems were happening, and what we could do to prevent problems in the future. We were very satisfied with the job, and felt as if we'd found our regular electricians. The second time they came, we had been having a new dishwasher installed, and the installers didn't cut the electricity to the appliance before disconnecting the old dishwasher and connecting the new one (the installation manual said to do so, but he thought he knew better...). A loud click followed by a loss of half the power in our home ensued. I called Autum, and they were able to send a worker over within 2 hours. He found that one of the two main fuses in our house had been blown out. The replacement fuse hasn't been made in years, but the worker was able to track one down about 30 minutes away from our home. He headed off to pick it up (in NOVA traffic, no less), came back, and installed the new fuse on a sweltering day on very short notice. We've been satisfied with the quality of work, the pricing, and professionalism of Autumn Electric, and would recommend them to anyone.

The service and employees were fantastic. They showed up on time and began to work right away. They ran the circuit from our kitchen all the way down into our basement area with the fewest amount of cuts into the drywall as possible. The staff were nice and easy to talk to. They cleaned up after themselves and kept within a very short timeframe.

I am hiring them again for an upcoming project. They are a very honest and dependable small business in the area.

Pat came and removed the old light fixture and installed a new one. He did a great job making sure that it was tight to the ceiling. He spent extra time getting it just right. I believe he came later than scheduled. He covered the floors and cleaned up afterwards. Overall I was pleased with the job.

On the face of it, these were two fairly straightforward jobs. He was on time and patient as he explained possible causes that would cause my recessed light bulb to fail so often. He even called the Electrical Supplies store to see if they had the LED bulbs he recommended and had them hold them for me. Then we moved on to the next job. Installing my two pendant lights turned out to be a much longer job than planned as is often the case when working on old houses. My bungalow is from 1928 and I know from experience that you can't open a wall or a ceiling without (usually costly) surprises. The wires were old and the insulation frayed, there was no beam or board in the ceiling to support my lamp, Pat had to work for hours with his arms up in the ceiling to try to find a solution that would not require opening a big hole in my ceiling drywall. I was working at my computer next to him the whole time and he took the time to update me on what he was finding up in the ceiling as he worked and what the options might be. He had to put off his next job and patiently worked until the job was done. I could tell he felt bad about how long it took but but I took it in stride. Sometimes, old houses hold surprises and usually they are costly to fix. Pat was knowledgeable, patient and very professional. He skipped lunch and stuck to it until the job was done. I would definitely use Autumn Electric again.

Autumn did an outstanding job - very pleased with the install. Electricians came on time over the four day install, communicated very well, and cleaned up daily. They built a solid bed for the generator on the side of the house. I recommend Autumn Electric for any generator installation you have in mind. They do the job right the first time. You will not be disappointed. Their electricians are top notch. Very neat installation. On pricing: IMO each generator install is unique - prices can vary greatly. I received multiple estimates - Autumn was competitive. I went for best value - quality of the work was my first criteria - followed by price.
