Al and his team were excellent. Construction Concepts remodeled my kitchen several years ago. The project went without a hitch and I have had no problems with any of the work. The kitchen looks still looks stunning. Subsequently, ACC did work of similar excellent quality for a friend. So when I decided earlier this year to do a major renovation of my bathroom, there was no question about who I would call. The project was extensive, undoing a previous conversion of a two bedroom unit to a one bedroom with a spa bath. The spa bath was completely removed, new tub w/shower, tile, vanity, all the plumbing updated, new lights installed, the 2nd bedroom wall reframed, including a closet and a wash/drier cubby, painting and previously unknown problems fixed. I was out of town for most of the work and Al kept me well informed of the progress and any issues that came up. The work was completed on time with great attention to detail. I highly recommend ACC.

We are very happy with the work that Al and his team did. The team turned our dingy basement, which had built as sort of an au pair suite, into a very functional space. This included ripping out the existing kitchen to create a big living- / playroom; completely remodeling a bathroom; creating a laundry closet; building desks; painting walls; all of the associated plumbing and electrical work; installing and painting new doors; and a number of other things. Al and his team also fixed things as they came across them, even though they weren't part of his original charge, like leveling our front steps. He was in constant contact with me with lots of updates, and worked well with the interior design firm we hired.

Advance Construction Concepts performed the restoration/remodeling of my home (drywall, painting, hardwood flooring, recess lighting, kitchen cabinets, countertops, backsplash, and open floor concept - removed dividing wall) after my home was damaged due to a pipe break/water damage that affected the upper and lower level of my home. Al was very professional, responsive, and patient during the repair of my home. He explained the scope of the work, provided a timeframe, estimate, and walked me through every step of the process (regular updates, project status, pictures, etc.). He made me feel comfortable and at ease during a time of stress and worry from being displaced from my home. The work performed exceeded my expectations and was completed on time as promised. I have a brand new home. His work is exemplary! I highly recommend Advanced Construction Concepts and I would hire this company again.

This was my third time working with Al, and each install/remodel has been a great experience. This smaller job included hours of hanging mirrors, art, installing an overhead fixture, and installing large shelves. Al is timely, professional, and generous. 10/10 recommend Al and his team for a professional job at a reasonable price.

I don't know where to begin. I love Al and his team. They were punctual, polite, clean, thoughtful and mindful of my house and its contents as they did their work. Speaking of their work, it was perfect. They removed a load bearing wall to create more open space in my dining room and living room. I can't believe that they put the main structure up in four hours and had it speckled and prepped, ready for paint the next day. They were incredibly quick, with the recessed lighting as well. In addition, they went above and beyond the call of duty by fixing some holes and other imperfections in my walls and ceilings at no charge. And that's because they love their work. I get amazed by the finished product. They matched the pain, and my walls and lights look like they came with the house. Absolutely perfect, at a great cost and fast timing. They promised 5 days and they got it done in 4 1/2. The best part of the work is working with Al. He's fun to be with, flexible, easy to work with and he has great ideas for the house and offered a lot of do it yourself tips. Hire him and his company, and keep using them over and over again.

Al always provides quality service.

Everything was done in a pretty quick manner and Al was much more responsive than any other contractor we contacted. His price was definitely the best as well. We are very happy with our kitchen and all of the other work that was done. It is like living in a new house. Al worked with us during the renovation to make sure we could still live in our house while the renovations were being done and make sure we were not stressed out about the house while other stressful things were going on in our lives (unrelated to the house). Al and his team were excellent. The entire project was finished in the time that was quoted. They were extremely neat and clean. Would definitely hire them again for future projects.

Advance just delivered our dream kitchen and we couldn't be happier! Al (owner of Advance) was very hands on from the very beginning and delivered on every promise he made. He quoted us a 3 week time frame to do a very big kitchen remodel, which he stuck to. He doesn't operate a showroom, which I believe keeps his cost down (his quote was 20-30% cheaper than quotes provide by re-modelers with showrooms). The price was very reasonable for what was done. We ended up going with stock cabinets but very high end quartz counter tops and marble back splash (also KitchenAid SS appliance which he installed, but we bought separately). The job also included complete demo of our existing kitchen, all new electrical, new plumbing, new recessed lights, a new large window over the sink, a removal of a load bearing wall, and a complete reconfiguration of the kitchen. With so much going on we were expecting the worst but got the best - the job went flawlessly. I highly recommend Advance and think you would be remiss if you don't give them a shot. They were cheaper than virtually all other quotes and delivered quality that surprised our very high expectations.

Kitchen Renovation We had another firm do the kitchen design. We also bought our cabinets and countertops through this other company. However, when it came to the installation, the price that the other guys were asking seemed unreasonably high, so we went looking for other installation options. That's how I found Advance Construction Concepts. Al Honarvar (the owner) came over to our house to work on the estimate. He suggested several changes to the design, colors, and materials. His price was also significantly lower than other quotes. His crews were efficient, expert, and on-time. Our kitchen looks beautiful. Ever suggestion Al made was spot on. Even when I was picking out a backsplash or paint, I could text him and get his opinion before buying. The work is top quality. The materials he suggested were huge upgrades over what we had picked ourselves, and at the same or lower price. My only regret was that we didn't work with Al right from the beginning. Not only a great job, but a great experience as well. Below are a few "before" and "after" pictures.

Al, the owner was extremely helpful in suggesting great upgrades and in finding deals on sinks, exhaust fans etc. I know I am supposed to find something wrong, but nothing bad happened at all. I have heard so many horror stories from other friends on delays in ordering, kitchen cabinets that come with dings on them or ones that don't fit, granite with scratches or some disaster like a flood or supports that weren't sufficient to hold the new equipment. Perhaps I was just lucky or maybe it was good planning and attention to detail from the contractor. I know they examined everything very closely before proceeding. For example, they cut small holes in my soffits to make sure there were no heat ducts hidden inside before they were removed. They were very careful in taking out my old plaster walls so that disturbances and mess would be minimal. Clean up each day was thorough. All the workmen were polite and respectful. You rarely see this!

First of all, Al is a real pleasure to work with and was the easiest contractor to deal with that we have ever encountered. If all contractors were like Al we wouldn't be nearly as hesitant about doing home improvements. He was very easy going and also responsive and sensitive to our specific needs (even if they conflicted with his professional opinion). However, the project did not kickoff quite as quickly as we would have liked but that was not really Al's fault. We went with an architect whose name we got from Al, but who turned out to be extremely slow to complete the designs and very unresponsive. But once we mentioned to Al the issues we were having he did his best to spur the architect, apologized for the problem, and found another architect to take care of any additional issues after we got the initial plans completed. Once we were ready to begin construction Al's team started exactly when planned and overall, the project proceeded in a timely manner. The workers were all very professional and generally neat and courteous. They also went to great lengths not to disturb us in the rest of the house. We installed a large tiled shower with two shower heads and the porcelain tile installation was really nicely done, with two large tiled wall insets for holding shampoo, etc. We had an issue with matching the flooring and floor height between the old part of the bedroom and the new addition and Al was very conscientious about making sure we would be happy with the result. There was a little bit of difficulty communicating with the electrician about some additional electrical work we wanted done, but in the end everything came out fine. Overall, the finished project is beautiful and we love our new big master suite. We would definitely use Al again and highly recommend him and his team.

His work was very good. We are very pleased. I liked the ideas that he was able to give us about better ways to redo things than we would have thought of on our own. Sometimes, he was a little difficult to communicate with. His price was excellent.

I requested estimates from 3 home improvement contractors for a complete renovation of fairly small (7.5 x 12) bathroom. Not our master bath. Al Honarvar is the owner and provided an estimate at the upper end of the range. The detail that his estimate contained impressed me enough to know that he had the foresight to include items that could lead to misunderstandings down the road. I also felt (as best you can) that he was being being honest. The contract was presented and written in a way that clearly defined the scope of the project and cost allowances for the major items that the choice of the degree of quality could influence the cost of the project. He also had a firm date of commencement of the project and his best estimate of the time frame in the quote. The job started exactly on time. It was also completed on time, only delayed because of changes orders requested by me. ACC uses full time employees (not subcontractors) except for the Frameless Glass Shower and electrical. Their tradesmen are punctual, respectful, organized and very clean. Protective coverings were placed on the floors and at the end of every day they cleaned the work area thoroughly. They are masters of their craft and the detail of their work is of the highest quality. It was apparent they were not hurrying the job along just to move on to the next one. They do things right the first time. As I would guess with most projects, there were surprises encountered and any problems/issues were discussed clearly with me so that I could make the best decision as to how to proceed. The final cost of the project was a little more than estimated but only because of my selection of fixtures and tiles that were more expensive than included in the base price. (Because of the way the contract was written, it was no surprise and fully expected.) ACC even shared in some of the extra labor costs resulting from my choice of smaller floor tiles that took longer to lay. I highly recommend ACC and Al Honarvar. In an industry tainted by slick salesmen and con artists, I can attest to the integrity of this company that operates with high ethical standards with the goal of delivering a high quality service.

Done in a timely fashion, and great quality of work. They were excellent working with us and making sure their work was done to our expectation. We now have a beautiful, new master bath.

We do not have words to describe how amazing Al Honavar and his team are. They took on the challenging task of renovating our entire 100 year old house in a mere 12 weeks. This included renovating an entire kitchen, three bathrooms, replacement of plumbing, electric wires, and unwanted non-load bearing structures as well as overseeing the installation of new hardwood floors and clearing out structures in our basement. Most contractors cannot even complete a kitchen in that time period reliably (we know from experience). On top of that, our house was a complete disaster to work in. Every day, a new surprise appeared (not as a result of Al's work)....ceilings collapsed, roofs leaked, every piece of wiring we exposed was inappropriately wired and had to be redone, and we learned we had no subfloor under one of the floors that we were replacing...the list goes on. But Al took int in stride, had a great sense of humor about it, and STILL kept us on schedule despite the fact that most contractors would be months behind as a result. Not only are Al and his team a pleasure to work with, but they did great quality work, provided us with excellent advice, and helped us to stay on budget as much as possible. There were times that he would tell us how we could do things ourselves if we wanted to save money and not pay his team for their labor. How many contractor's can you say tell you when not to give them work? What also impressed us was his team included almost everyone needed and when he had to sub-contract on specialty items (our granite countertop and island) he knew exactly what had to be done and ensured the work was up to the standard he demanded. Al's pricing was very reasonable compared to the other quotes that we got. He clearly explained trade-offs to us and let us know where we would get the most value for our money. When problems arose he also helped us work through those in a way that added to our confidence in him. Most importantly, you want a contractor that will tell you like it is and give you honest advice. We could always count on Al for that. He never had an angle. As a result of Al and his team's work, the house we purchased is an entirely new home now. It is absolutely beautiful. People who saw it before do not even recognize it. And just in a few short months. We cannot emphasize how much we enjoyed working with Al and his team and how much we would recommend working with him and his company. If you want someone who will give you fair pricing, tell things to you straight, and get things done reliably, on time and of high quality, do not go anyplace else. Renovations of this size are very scary propositions and Al made it more comfortable for us. We are already plotting some smaller things to do with him in the next year or so.

We love our new addition! Our project went very well and Al was very easy to work with throughout. Al has a good eye for design and had a lot of great ideas, especially in the 3 bathrooms. His workers were professional and showed up on time every day. Their work was done with good attention to detail. There are a couple of punch items to be corrected but I am confident these will be taken care of in due course. We are very pleased with the work Al and his crew did and we highly recommend them.

Our experience with Al Hanovar and Advance Construction Concepts was outstanding. Our original kitchen presented many challenges, especially size and functionality. We solicited many bids and proposals from other contractors and ACC was the only one that stood out from the crowd. We needed creative and practical solutions to deal with our space and Mr. Hanovar's brought just that. The centerpiece of our new kitchen is a crescent shaped island, which before stood two walls that divided our kitchen with the dining and living room. ACC worked to move a furnace flue to the side of the house in order to create a dynamic floor plan. We are thrilled with the quality of work, craftsmanship and professionalism of the crew. If you are considering to start a similar project, I highly recommend Mr. Hanovar and ACC. Don't settle for a "kitchen remodeler" - there are many out there. Mr. Hanovar and his team are builders and their work is transformative. I think it's important to make that distinction.

The results were excellent. I am very pleased. The worker, John, came promptly every morning, and Mr. Honarvar came by daily to monitor progress. Work was completed on time and at the proposed price.

Owner Al Honarvar provided an estimate and stayed witihn the cost and work description. He was at the work site nearly every day and was in commuinication with me daily to answer questions and respond to issues immediately as they arose. He and his quality wokers went beyond the call of duty to see that the finished basement is an attarctive addition to our home. All in all, working with this comapny was a mutually beneficial and enjoyabe experience.

The project went extremely well from start to finish. The job was started and completed on time. Mr. Honarvar was there everyday for at least a couple of hours. He does a superb job of helping the customer visualize the project during the planning stages , and offers good design suggestions. Then he thoroughly explains how the project will proceed. His crew was polite and always cleaned up at the end of the day. Most important, Mr. Honarvar clearly put our satisfaction first, and took extra time to be sure we were happy . We are extremely pleased with the the result.

Al Honavar called me literally within minutes of receiving my emailed message of interest. He arrived promptly for our scheduled meeting to discuss the work to be done. We received a detailed estimate of all work within three days and responded promptly to our questions. Al was always friendly but professional and also contributed some excellent design ideas throughout the remodeling process. His workmen arrived promptly on days that work was to be done and Al came by frequently to check on progress and to ensure our satisfaction with the work. His workers worked efficiently and always left the work area clean. The work was completed on schedule and on budget, with the only additional charges related to our decision to select a higher grade granite than originally planned. We were very happy with Al and his team at ACC, and would call them again to do work in our home.

They did a great job. I can't say enough. Estimates were provided in a timely manner. No surprises in cost during the work. They started on time every day, made progress, and cleaned up every single day after the work was done. The quality of the work is outstanding. Drywalling was excellent. Good invisible seams. Did not make a mess and hung barriers for the dust each day. Paid attention to the details like sealing around the porch and front steps that would not have occured to me. Prior to the job, Al provided excellent advice on the work to be done. I have other projects we are thinking our way through and would definitely hire Advance Construction Concepts again.

Owner Al Honarvar called to confirm our appointment, showed up on time, then spent almost two hours with us discussing our prioritites and evaluating our current area. He measured the bathroom and surrounding area, looked at another bathroom to determine what we liked about it versus what we did not like about it, and also looked at sketches I had already drawn. He highlighted areas of my sketches that he thought were good values, and also suggested areas that would be quite costly to incorporate. He provided less and more costly options for several items on my "wish list" including heated flooring, frameless glass shower doors, tile, and movement of a toilet and vanity. He was obviously extremely experienced and knowledgable. He provided a written proposal in less than 48 hours, which included some of the modifications we had agreed upon. The price was very fair for the amount of work to be performed.
