From my first contact with Judit, she was very professional and had so many ideas of how she would create a nautical/seaside mural in my baby's nursery. I emailed her a few pictures of what I liked, and she created a small-scale board of a mural that I could have never even even begun to imagine (I'm not very creative, but I know what I love when I see it). She never tried to steer me in a different direction based on her preferences -- she truly listened to all my ideas, likes/dislikes, and created something that incorporated everything I wanted in the room. Once she started the project, she worked daily until it was completed. Everyone has been blown away by the finished product. It's absolutely amazing, and my newborn son has the prettiest room in the house. I can't wait to see what she comes up with for the other bedrooms in my house!

Judit painted our living room/dining room. First, she went to a furnature store with me to match paint colors to a swatch of fabric that we are having a couch made with. Then, she bought paint and made a variety of samples in varying shades in the linen technique we selected. The following week, she began working, and was in our home every day until the job was done. She spent time patching and sanding imperfections in the walls, and laid down multiple coats of paint to insure perfect coverage. When it came time to apply the linen technique, her daughter came with her to help. The two worked very well together, were quiet, and respectful of me working at home. We really liked the idea of hiring a local family business to do work for us. Judit's 30-40 years of experience shows, as she is truely an artists and master painter.

Judit Ilie is amazing. Her work is impeccable. Not only are her prices very reasonable, her design background is invaluable in helping select paint colors. She provides elaborate mock ups of the faux finishes to give the customer a clear idea of what the treatment will actually look like. Judit responded immediately for my request for an estimate and was able to begin the job within a few weeks of signing the contract. I am thrilled with the final product and would unequivocally recommend her.
