They came out the same day, identified the issues, had parts on the truck, and fixed the door, all in one visit. A competitor's site said they could do do it in one day since they carried parts while others did not, but they couldn't even get to my house for three days.

In 2013 I bought garage doors from Hometown. I have had to have them back at least 6 times to repair or adjust the doors. Twice the doors have come completely off track, 3 days ago on the coldest night of the year my door again fell completely off track and would not close - 4 foot gap at bottom and large gap at top. I began trying to reach them Saturday at 6p for their promised 24/7 service. Finally got someone on the phone Monday morning at 8 a. I am still waiting (Tuesday 2:15p) for someone to show up and fix the door. Service tech could not get to me late yesterday due to snow and that was understandable..However if they had picked up my weekend messages and put me on the schedule for Monday morning, snow would not have been an issue. Service tech promised to call me today to check status of road....have not heard from him although called and left a message about 11a that everything was accessible. No response and after 3 calls today (to tech's cell and 2 to their office) I am just about to give up. On Monday they claimed that they were having trouble with their phone provider....however they used that same excuse about a year ago when I tried to reach them on a weekend. On Tuesday they promised to get back to me before end of day to set up time for tech to arrive....never heard back from them. I have rarely experienced such inadequate customer service. I am actually considering buying new doors from a different provider and starting all over. This was my $3000 mistake. I would strongly advise anyone considering new garage doors to choose anyone other than Hometown Garage Doors. I cannot recommend them at all.
Description of Work: Still waiting for them to repair my garage door that I bought from them.

These AMAR doors were installed about six months ago....I have had to ask for service at least 4 times....often the problem was not resolved and my concerns were "dismissed". The technician was supposed to arrive last night between 7 and 9 because a bolt has fallen off the doors (again) and it is not closing tightly. He did not come and no one called. When I tried to reach the company, repeatedly between 8:30 and 9:15, I got a voice mail, This morning the person who answered the phone said they had 24 hour answering and no voice mail!
Description of Work: Nothing. He did not show for a scheduled appointment.
