All I can say is I wish I had more work for these guys to do - They were excellent! Anthony communicated along the way concerning appointment times for estimates, scheduling, etc. I felt their review of the work needing to be done was knowledgeable and they were fair in their pricing. Anthony and Lucas took down 3 trees for me and spent 6+ hours with the log splitter on logs that I had in a shed. I had probably double the wood to split that they quoted me on and he was not even going to charge me additional for the extra work. They cleaned up all the brush and debris from the tree cutting so you could not even tell they had been here. I requested that they leave the brush for me to clean up and they neatly stacked it in piles for me instead of just leaving it laying about. They both worked diligently throughout the day and were friendly and polite. I woud highly recommend them for anyone who needs any work done. As I said, I wish I had more to be done as I would love to hire them to do further work for me.

He was on time, friendly, knowledgeable. His price is excellent and clean up is impeccable. Great guy going all the right places.

They called same day as submitting online quote request. Quickly provided in-person estimate. Performed the work before the end of the week. Work was completed, site was cleaned up, wood worth keeping was cut to firewood size and stacked. Outstanding work.

Learned about this company from a business card they left after doing work for a neighbor. They followed up again a few weeks later in person. Agreed to a price and they started the next business day. 3 man crew worked 1.5 days to cut down and remove 3 large (60ft) Colorado spruce trees, grind stumps, rake up all debris afterwards, trim several Leyland Cyprus trees so no longer touching house siding and clean up my brush pile of accumulated tree branches. They were friendly and professional and did good work for us. Would hire them again.

This is the second time I've hired Virginia Tree and Landscapes. This job was much bigger and involved timbering 2 very large trees including an oak and ash tree. Anthony and his crew are very professional, friendly, hardworking. Anthony was responsive and came out on a Sunday morning when I was available to give me an estimate. He walked the property with me and took a look at everything that needed to be done. We had large trees that posed a safety hazard to our children. We are so happy with the work and amazed at what they were able to accomplish in a day's time. I would highly recommend Anthony and his crew to everyone on Angie's List.

It was a great experience, a fantastic price, and we will definitely use their service again in the future.

These guys made me wish I had just gotten a group of guys at the 7-11. I made the mistake of hiring these guys thinking they would do what we had agreed on which was a full clear out of about 800 square feet of weed trees, weed bushes, one dead tree that was about 40 feet high, leaves and vine. I was clear that I wanted to reclaim the space for grass and a garden. After paying them $950 for 4.5 hours, I didn't get anything that resembled a clear out. They basically took a chain saw and just cut all the bushes down to the stump. Well, they those bushes are ALL going to grow back again. They left me ALL of the dead leaves of which there were many and ALL of the vines to get rid of. They did anything that was easy and left anything that was remotely hard to do. If they couldn't do it with the swipe of a chain saw, they didn't do it. It was all I could do to feel like I could eek out anywhere near my money's worth. I had them trimming some small branches just to get some worth out of it. I had also asked them to put in some tree fertilizing spikes for which they didn't even follow the directions which are to wet down the ground so that the spikes could be hammered in 2 inches below the ground. They didn't wet down the ground so that when they couldn't get the spikes in any further, they just smashed them down to ground level. I wish I could go back and undo hiring them, because they left me with a ton of work to do that they should have done.

Honest and hard working. Gave opinions about tree condition and whether trees needed to come out, be trimmed or didn’t need anything at all. Were willing to say that some trees were healthy and didn’t need any work. The work performed was excellent. Very nice and polite crew as well. Would absolutely recommend and will hire again.

Anthony and his crew did a great job. They arrived on time/early for the estimate and even helped me bring my groceries inside. They gave me the best cost estimate I had from 4 other companies and were able to schedule me ASAP. They arrived on time to do the job and were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. They had all the required tools including safety ropes which is key that they knew what they were doing. They even took care to spare my vegetable garden from crashing limbs. Highly recommend!

Virginia Tree and Landscaping provided us with excellent customer service at a competitive price. We needed to have nearly a dozen trees completely removed and two others that required major trimming. Anthony and his coworkers are professional, considerate and responsive. All of the work was skillfully done with great attention and care to the surrounding trees that were not being removed or trimmed. Anthony goes the “extra mile” to ensure that the customer is satisfied. Throughout the job we were kept informed and updated. If we had a question, it was answered politely and in a fashion that was easy for us to understand. It was a pleasure to do business with Virginia Tree and Landscaping. We had several huge pine trees fall on our house during Hurricane Florence (we live in Brunswick County, NC). Rain was coming in through holes in the roof. My husband saw Virginia Tree & Landscapes in another neighborhood and asked them to come and give us a quote. The crew came to the house quickly, gave us a quote (written according to insurance company requirements)) and started work immediately--on a Sunday in the pouring rain! They continued to work past dark on Sunday to get the trees off the house and basic tarping over the roof holes. They came back the next morning, this morning, to finish the job--working much of the day cutting up the trees (in the back of the house) and moving them to the road. They were a blessing in the storm for us.

Anthony and his crew were extremely responsive, efficient, and tidy. This company will be our new tree service.

Vendor initially came out to survey the job site and agreed that the job was within scope of the deal. Tree crew showed up on the appointed day and worked straight through until the job was completed. All debris was chipped on site and hauled away. No damage done to flowers and shrubs that were not being trimmed.
