We had so much rain that a tree in the parkland behind my house uprooted and fell into my backyard. I had used VA Tree & Landscapes a few weeks ago to remove two dead trees and was happy with the service. So, I called Anthony again to see if he could give me a quote to remove the fallen tree. He showed up two days later (on a Sunday) and gave me a very reasonable quote. The tree was cut up, put through the shredder and my yard thoroughly cleaned that same day. I was extremely pleased with the result.

Perfect. I had a very large tree to remove and it was important not to damage some smaller trees in its path. The guys took all the time necessary to ensure that my trees would be protected and handled it expertly. They were very reasonable, professional, courteous, and cleaned up well afterwards too. My "Go To" guys for all tree work now.

Anthony and his two helpers put in a very long day in hot weather. In the end, both trees were taken down with no damage to the nearby fence. I found them to be polite and hardworking. I will use them again for any future tree work.

Excellent work, excellent value, professional and courteous from beginning to end. I checked a dozen vendors for estimates before choosing one here on Angie's List - this company came in at 1/2 to 1/3 the estimated cost for our job compared to other firms. Their estimate was fair and they honored it - I appreciate their honesty and candor throughout the job. (I notified all other competing companies of the final bid price and some then cut their price in half to try to underbid this firm - I would rather give my work to the company that was fair and honest from the start!) They came out and efficiently handled the tree removal task as estimated. They explained the full process and exactly how and why they were performing each step, which I appreciated as a new homeowner. They also identified issues with a second tree and explained them well, then handled that tree in addition to the original job at a discounted rate. They are a high-integrity operation and I value that in a vendor. I had no problems at all with the work or how it was performed and give them my highest recommendation.

Fantastic service. VA Tree. & Landscape offered the best pricing among the three (3) companies contacted. Not only were they the best priced they were professional, courteous, and quickly setup. Removal went quickly and they ensured cleanliness and debris removal, including “stumping”. We also had some trees trimmed during the service. Great service, great price. What else can you ask for?

Anthony and his crew did amazing work for us! We used Virginia Tree and Landscapes to remove three large trees in our backyard. They removed all cuttings, branches and twigs over a two-day period and did an excellent job. We have used Anthony's company for several tree trimming projects and have referred them to others as well. We highly recommend them for their work ethic and their courteous treatment of their clients.

Anthony and his team were great. Came and looked at the two trees (Ash and Maple - both 70+ feet tall), discussed what we wanted done, wrote up the estimate and decided on a date for when they would come back out. The tree work was to: 1. cut the ash down to a stump 2. cut the maple down but leave a 35' length of trunk to create a snag (dead tree) for the wildlife, and 3. cut all the maple limbs greater than 6" into 18"-24" lengths so we could cut them into firewood. On the day of service, they arrived on time with the crew ready to go. They did exactly what we has asked and cleaned up behind themselves. Very straight forward folks. We intend to hire them to take down 2 very large, old Sweetgums, a large branch off another old tree, and remove six large Leland Cypresses. This time we'll have the stumps get ground down. Already have the estimate and just waiting for the fall to come around. Highly recommend Anthony and the team.

Virginia Tree and Landscape has helped us on more than one occasion, removing trees from our yard that were dead and trimming a tree. Most recently they responded to our call during the wind storm at the beginning of March that toppled our neighbor's tree into our yard. They came out the next day to assess the damage, and had the tree off of our property the following Monday. They also did some work in our neighbor's yard. Anthony and his crew are polite, professional, and reliable. Without a doubt I'd use this company again.

Anthony Gallihugh and his partner Jenkins arrived on-time at 9:30. They have done work for me and several neighbors over the years. We discussed exactly what needed to be done and how they would do it. They trimmed trees and bushes using hand saws and chain saws; ground up limbs and branches in grinder, raked debris from the yard where work was done, sprayed cuts with a tree sealer, left the job site clean. Both live near Charlottesville and drive to Springfield and Fairfax County daily. Both are very knowledgeable about trees, landscaping, etc. They are both family men, dependable and courteous.

They got there even earlier than promised. Got the job done and cleaned everything up. Knows alot about trees! Came back the next day to get the rest of the big logs out. Very pleased.
