About us

Ken Shelton Construction was started in 1996 by Ken Shelton and had the need of doing what he loved: Building!! He wanted it to be a family operated business and enjoys working along with his wife, daughters and nephews. He has been woodworking from the time he was a small child in his grandfather's home making toys for the children's orphanage, to classes in woodshop he enjoyed in high school and until he was inspired by other's that believed in his talents to start his dream. He brings skill, creativity and trust to all of his customers. He provides the homeowner a clear insight of what will be done and encourages communication on the daily activities. He cares about all of his work and really listens to his customers needs and strives for excellence. His priority is to make your visions and dreams a reality.

Outstanding work and craftsmanship from Ken and Salvador who gave us a very fair quote, and started and finished construction on time and on budget. Highly likely they will get my business again. Very pleased.

He is very professional. He is a one person operation. It is mostly him and his wife do the work. They do bring in painters and drywall people. He does smaller jobs. He is easy to work with. He is very conscientious about his work. He told us it would take about 5 days to complete the job, but it was actually completed in 3 days. He cleaned up after himself.
Description of Work: We used Ken Shelton Construction to do some construction work on our home. They did a converted a loft into a bedroom. It included drywall, painting, and framing.
