Inspection and service were outstanding. Hunter Pitts represented this company very well. He was thorough and explained the preventative maintenance performed. I highly recommend Williamsburg Heating and Air. Conditioning to anyone in the area.

They’ve done our semi-annual A/C in the spring and heat in the fall since we’ve lived here. They have been doing service for me since fall of 2014. We found these guys at the home and garden show. They were also recommended by the builder’s service manager. The next visit they are coming out on the 10th of October, next week. Sadly, they don’t offer yearly contracts. We pay per visit, it is $165. We have 2 units both air conditioning and heating, one on the main floor and one in the attic. They are easy to schedule, usually within a week of calling they’ll be out. They’re on time, they show up when they say they will. The work is quick and they clean up after themselves. I like a local company and these guys are local in Williamsburg, so it makes a difference, so they are part of the community.

They were out the next day to repair that, generally it takes a week. It was under builder warranty. It was out for about 4 days, by the time the replacement motor came in they installed it and billed the original company. The warranty paid for the part. I paid to have them diagnosis it and to install the replacement. It did not cost a heck of a lot. It was $394, that was labor and 2 visits. It did not take long for them to come out. It wasn’t an emergency because the temperatures were mild then, so we didn’t suffer. It was only one unit out of 2. They diagnosis the problem they ordered the part. The problem was there was not one close by, so it had to be shipped to them. I thought it was timely, the work was good. Good clean up, showed up when promised, so that’s a straight “A” job. The first time I used them was in September of 2015, it wasn’t as long as I had thought. They’ve only been out 4 times so far.

It was good. They came, it was pretty quick after I called them. I think they came as soon as they got the part, whatever it was, and they did it all in one day, and it was a pretty major job, so we were glad with that. The way the guy explained it, it seemed like a reasonable price. It was a major job so they had two guys starting off, but when I got home from work, I'm not kidding, there were like five trucks in our yard at like three in the afternoon. I guess everyone that got done with their small jobs came over to finish up the thing to get it done in one day. It was more than we wanted to pay, but we got another estimate and it was high like that, too. I didn't love the price. They didn't make a mess and everything seems to be working fine. They didn't get our house dirty.

Technician arrived on time and was able to quickly determine the issue and affect a repair. Cost for weekend/emergency service was better than other companies I spoke with. Checked system for proper function before writing up the ticket.

FANTASTIC! They put tarps down inside and covered the entire path to work on the inside unit. Honest, reliable, fair, knowledgable, responsive, courteous, hard working! Just some of the attributes that come to mind about WB HVAC. Had them replace both of my old heat pumps and air handlers. They replace one and then I had them replace the one for the 2nd floor - because they did such a good job on the first one. Highly recommend!

I had used Williamsburg Heating and Air for minor repairs in the past. They had always been friendly and responsive so I asked for a quote for a new heat pump the last time I had problems. When I finally decided to get a new heat pump months later, they honored their original quote and I went with them. I had received quotes from other companies, but all were more expensive and provided inferior or similar quality equipment. In the end, Williamsburg Heating and Air did a great job. They showed up on time, installed all the equipment in an on-and-off torrential downpour, and finished when they said they would. They also nicely cleaned everything up, leaving only the new heat pump and air exchange as signs that they were there.

The technician was punctual and provided a quote while still on site. On installation, 3 technicians showed up promptly and spent most of the day installing the equipment. When complete, the lead technician walked me through what they installed, provided maintenance suggestions, and asked if I had any questions. The installation team removed the old equipment and left no mess inside or outside. The quote was reasonable, but not the lowest by a few $s. They did credit me for the cost of refrigerant used to keep the old system working while waiting for the installation.

Like to give thanks to Bill Howes for keeping me informed throughout the entire process. He was great! Able to explain everything to me so I could understand all of the details since my husband was unable to make the appointment. Looking forward to the return trip for needed repairs once the part arrives that had to be ordered.

I called this company because our AC wasn't cooling the house down and to get an estimate on a ductless unit. The service provider that came out checked out current unit but said the owner would contact me about the ductless system. No one has called me to talk about the ductless unit I need to install in our finished attic. Very disappointed!!

They usually call before they get there, my husband's happy with them and he keeps their card in the refrigerator so we may call them whenever we need them

I used their services many times and were extremely happy about it. When I call them they come here right away. I think they're excellent to deal with. I really don't have no any complaints with them. When I had a complaint they came back and took care of it.

The work was done as specified and in a timely manner. The crews who install and service the equipment are all first rate. The owner has always taken care of my requests and gone out of his way to meet my needs in an emergency. I have used other HVAC companies in the 26 years I have lived in my home but since finding Williamsburg AC I have no need to look elsewhere for service and a job well done.

Carried away all old parts and pieces. Honored same price estimate they had given me many months earlier. Advised me about rebate available through power company that I had not known about. Very courteous and professional staff. Came to house to personally give information and demonstration when I had a question about proper operation of the unit. Definitely recommend this contractor.

I would most surely use them again.

Arrived as requested, very pleasant, answered all questions, gave good advice about future maintenance. My only complaint was that he did not cover his feet with those disposable shoe covers.

After my wife called back 8 times leaving messages (oh yeah, they only use an answering service, should have been our first indication). Then I called back and told them either return our call and tell us when you can come out or I'll need to call someone else. I finally got a technician to call me back. When he did he told me that they were swamped with A/C calls. I explained that I already had an estimate and wanted to be put on their next available date as a customer. I was told that it doesn't work like that and that because I have a plumming project they could not get to me until the end of August. I asked why that was when I am willing to be the next on their list? I was then told we don't do plumming unless we are slow with A/C calls. So, we can't do the work now and I would have to call someone else but good luck trying to find someone else. Guess what, I called A/C Masters Inc this morning and was told they will be glad to help me with this. It doesn't matter what the call is, a customer for plumming is just as important as a customer for A/C work. Oh yeah, didn't mention they will be out tomorrow to give me an estimate and if I agree to the estimate they can come out within the week and perform the work. So, not only is Williamsburg not doing the gas line, they will no longer work on my A/C and Heating unit. Yep, they were the company I had used in the past. No longer!

I called them at 09:00 on Thursday morning. The technician called me and set up an appt. the same day between 11:00 to 1:00. He arrived at 12:00, He diagnosed the problem and offered two ways to address the situation. I was at work but my wife was at home and after making the repair decision the technician promptly did the work and offered advice on future issues. Very professional work at a reasonable price.

Company representative Daylon was friendly, informative, comprehensive, detailed and exact with his estimate and returned to oversee the installation crew. I selected them due to best price and, just as important to me, they are a local company within five miles of my home in a semi=rural area. Additionally, I had used them for service calls on my previous system always receiving prompt and excellent service. Daylon and crew arrived on time to remove and replace the new system including condenser pad and all lines. I had heat by 3:00 PM. Since it was raining and too muddy outside to properly set the condenser on the new condenser pad, Daylon suggested we wait a couple of days so he could bring in some dry fill dirt to ensure the pad was stable. This worked fine. When warm weather comes I will call them so they can come and ensure the AC is working properly at the beginning of the cooling season. I paid $1000. deposit and the balance when all the work was completed. They provide two years of free maintenance of the system. I look forward to working with them to do yearly maintenance to ensure the system has a long life.

Very professional, on time, fixed problem and made suggestions for future maintenance

They were very professional. Arrived on time and performed the job in a timely manner. We are very pleased with the service and professionalism of this company.

Williamburg Heating and AC arrived at 8:30 am on the scheduled date of the work. They had four technicians to perform the required work. Two worked outside on the heat pump and condenser and the other two on the inside air handler. The new system was completely installed and working at approximately 5:30 pm. All of the repair technicians were friendly and professional and removed the old heat pump system and all trash prior to competing the job. Did have an issue when we first attempted to turn on the heat approximately 2 months after the work was done. Heat would not come on. A call to Williamsburg Heating and AC at approximately 6:00 pm on a Friday evening was answered by an answering service and a return call to me from a technician was received within 2 minutes. Technician arrived, as agreed, the following morning and found that the thermostat was setup to work with gas heat not electric as we had. Problem was corrected immediately and all systems are working fine.
