Description of Work: My backup generator was not working. It seemed to be a problem with the motor and they agreed when they came out to diagnose the problem. After spending 3 hr. he discovered the generator itself was shot. This was going to cost over $1400. (I later called others and they were even more.) In addition he said they had many problems with this motor as well and although working could breakdown soon. The technician appeared very honest and was very through, describing everything to me as he went along. I did not have or want to spend the money to repair it. I was understandably charged for the labor at $275. I later called the manager and told him the whole situation and he immediately reduced it to $200.

Description of Work: Womble Generator Service was the go-to company for our residential standby generator installation. I mainly corresponded with Delton and Tiffany. The installation is very involved (obviously), and they kept me informed throughout the process and answered all my questions. Delton even saved me a few hundred dollars by making a little change from the original installation plans. (Oops, was I not supposed to say that?) They continue to be very open and receptive to any of my concerns.

+ 0 more.The Womble representative showed up on time and gave an excellent presentation, answered all of our questions and prepared a detailed quote for the work. We did not use Womble for the work because their estimate was slightly higher than the company that provided a lower offer.
Description of Work: I requested an estimate from Womble Generator for installation of a propane-powered home stand-by generator.
