Great. Very upfront about costs.

The carpeting was heavily soiled throughout this multi-cat household. Mike (the owner) and his helper came right on time, dug right in, and cleaned everything beautifully (using deep-cleaning formula specially formulated for pets). All stains and odors were removed -- not just the pet stains but also the spilled cola, BBQ sauce, wine, grease stains (picture Chicken McNuggets hitting the rug in front of the couch), and leaking plant container stains. Mike was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything (including optional services) and answer questions but with absolutely NO sales pressure. After the cleaning was finished, I elected to have him apply the premium carpet protector throughout to make unsightly spots and spills easier for me to clean up in the future. This is the 2nd time I've used Carpet Medic and, as before, I couldn't be more pleased.

These guys were great to us. I was closing on a house and the date kept changing. The owner was open to my ever changing schedule and came out at a time that worked for me . The home was owned by people with dogs and smelled horrible. He suggested the pet treatment and I bought it. While his son was doing the work, he spoke with my husband and I about proper carpet care and even helped my husband get a door off the hinges. Extremely nice thing that he went out of his way to do. After the cleaning, we parted ways and my husband and I went to run errands. When we returned home the entire house smelled like wet dog. I was so disappointed. I called the owner and he said that he would come out for a second treatment. He was back at the house within 2 days. At the initial appointment he went through the house with us and told us what to expect as far as what stains would and would not come up, the overall condition of the carpet (wich was very poor), and possible opptions. I did not expect a miracle, and I certainly did not get one. This is 12 year old standard carpet that was not cared for at all. However, what I did get was excellent customer service. We intend on replacing the carpet. For now, after the second treatment, we can comfortably live on it. I would use these guys again. They made what could have been an awful problem something that was easily, professionally, and quickly solved. Kudos!

It looks great! They both did a good job on the carpets and the dinning room chairs. It went very well.

Simply put, use Carpet Medic. The most knowledgeable and professional cleaner I've ever encountered. The prices for the extras for pets and flea/tick seemed a little high but I was happy to pay the extra because the quality was that good. Will definitely use again for future services!

It was fine. They were really friendly. I liked that they were able to accommodate my needs as far as scheduling went. There was nothing that I disliked about them.

I paid an extra $20 because of the fabric of the couch. My couch is clean. I don't have any dislike. It's an effective service. It was all good.

I had a thorough inspection with the owner and his son of the carpets to be cleaned, and was given excellent explanations of all the work to be performed, plus optional services available to me, but with no pressure from the owner. He was friendly and easy to cooperate with, and the work was done efficiently and promptly. He was late, but called ahead to tell me why and was exactly on time with his call and time estimate of when he could get there within the hour. My only disappointment was in the fact that the work was to include a spot that had been there for some time on white carpet and he was unable to get it to come clean. He was able to explain it might take several cleanings of that spot, but I was hoping for it to be left in much better appearance after his visit. The rooms are finished in a timely manner, and he left me feeling like I could call with any questions or need for advice on future suggestions of carpet purchase or treatments. He also made some recommendations for my home management of stains that would not require visits/cleanings if I used at-home products instead of expensive ones. I appreciated the advice.

Michael and his son were great. The carpet looks very good. After purchasing the deal online I talked with Michael and scheduled a date/time. Communications and service were great. I will definitely call him again in the future.

It turned out well. The gentleman was very good. They were very professional and they took the time to explain. I had stains in my carpet that I could not and he explained how I can take care of the carpet.

Absolutely FANTASTIC Job! I've read several of the "negative" reviews from customers, and I truthfully can't understand some people's mindset. Every aspect of the job was done in an extremely professional and polite manner. I was asked to look at every single room as it was finished. He even came back to a spot that HE was not happy with in an effort to work a stain that had been there for years. Even though I said "don't worry about it", he continued to work at the stain...and he actually got the majority of it out! (Even though every other cleaner I've had couldn't do it!) I am not easily impressed with services as I have high standards for myself, and thus for anyone I hire to do a job. If I am paying you, then I expect the effort to be supplied to ensure a good job...well, this company impressed me! I will absolutely be calling these guys back, and I absolutely recommend them to anyone...as long as you have common sense! It's not their job to move your furniture, vacuum your floor, wash your windows, or put diapers on your dog! But they absolutely will clean your carpets and do an amazing job of it!! By the way, yes they will offer you additional options; but there is absolutely no pressure. If you don't want it, simply say "No Thank You" as I did with several offers that he made. If you're not told what's available, how do you know what you may want or need? But I promise you, every time I said "No Thank You", IT WAS NOT A PROBLEM! No attitude, No follow-up pressure, No "you'll regret it" speech! Just professional interaction! These guys run their company the way I run mine...Honest, Fair, Professional, Ethical.

I did not like that he tried to up-sale, several times even though I told him I was not interested. He used one of my decorative towels in the bathroom to clean equipment (that is what it looks like) leaving behind a brown stain, there was also something splattered on the wall maybe from him pouring liquid (?). In his marketing, he says "owner at every job" - he was the owner - but it didn't make a difference in the quality of the service. I didn't appreciate him using my towel.

Awful by far the worst experience on angies list by far. I've used angies list for several jobs and this was a calamity. Specifically hired him to clean grout and said it could be done then went on a diatribe about how it was poor maintenance that caused it not to work right. He went on to say I have unreal expectations and how many awards hes won. My expectations were what I was told nothing more nothing less. He's a underhanded retailer with salesmanship nothing more. His discussions were about his lions not the job I left before job was finisher to my extent of my fault or I would not have paid him. My wife was frightened into payment and my daughter was appalled as well. Angies list if you let people like this win awards I have to question everything. But like I said before I've had great experiences until this point. He left the carpet wet and went on to say he dries it more than other cleaners do. As I explained to guy we are taking out carpets to put in hardwood so was specifically concerned about grout again excuse after excuse as to why he is different. He knocked over a vase and caught it then said wife should have put ornaments back up. What a joke. When I called to confront him he suggested etching or regrouting. Not what he said as the job was priced or before the actual work or even after completion of work was done. I could go on and on but this really a warning to any other consumer out there DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It went great. All the pet stains were removed. The carpets look and feel clean. I used a coupon from Angie's List. The total would have been around $200. There was additional cost for the pet stains and protection that I agreed to, but it did raise the cost to around $400. I think I just need to budget for a higher cost since I have pets.

Excellent results - highly recommend!

Very responsive on initial contact. Arrived on time and date agreed upon. Only the traffic areas in rooms were cleaned. No furniture was moved. Upon drying there were streaks left on the lightest colored carpet.

Extremely friendly, knowledgable, and efficient. Provided expert advice to maintain the cleanliness, despite our having teenagers and 2 small dogs. They were able to remove stains that two other companies had failed to remove. We will definitely call them again!

To begin, the gentleman was insistent that I leave a key for him to enter the house which made me uncomfortable, and he stated that I'd have to pay him extra since he would have to wait about thirty minutes for me to make it home. This was frustrating since he never gave me a concrete time as to when he would arrive. Ultimately, I found another company to do the work, and I'd advise others to avoid using The Carpet Medic.

He was very helpful and provided some inexpensive solutions to some problem areas from previous tenants. I was shocked at how well the job turned out and very pleased.

Very professional, punctual, and fast. He even gave me advice on how to clean up after my dog relieves himself on the carpet.

The provider was running late and barely made it in his alloted time window. His equipment was adequate, the chemicals efficient and skill level very good. I had hoped for miricles but non were performed. The tecnician was knowlegeable and efficient. He did everything that I asked and removed as many stains and marks as he could.

In 6 1/2 years in this house, we've had our carpets cleaned multiple times. This was the only time that I feel like I got my money's worth. It was a bit more than I expected to spend, but he voluntarily knocked around $50 off the price, and the phrase "you get what you pay for" definitely applies here. We had some pet stains that I had been unable to completely remove and now you can't tell that they were there at all. Our carpet is a very light tan color and had gotten pretty dingy, and now it looks almost new. He also patched a few spots that had pet damage with some extra carpet that I had. It wasn't very expensive ($30-50 per spot, depending on the size), but I wasn't 100% happy with the results. I've had carpet patches done before that turned out seamless, but you can definitely tell that these patches were done. I'm not knocking the overall quality A grade because I was so happy with the cleaning service. To sum up: maybe use somebody else to do patches, but otherwise he was the best carpet cleaner I've ever used.

I neglected to submit this review in a timely manner but we were very pleased with the service. The owner performed the service and was extremely knowledgeable and able to do additional work we required for additional cost.
