Initial cost was $100 but I knew that additional costs would apply for pet and rust stains. Owner/operator was very personable and did great job however we had a miscommunication and master bedroom was not cleaned as part of the orignal treatment. I discussed with owner over the telephone and even though he was not convinced he misunderstood, he still came back and cleaned the master bedroom carpet. I appreciated his agreement to accept my opinion and finish the job - obviously someone you can trust to do his best to ensure customer satisfaction

I purchased a big deal from him and it went really well. I ended up having other services done as well. The carpets look amazing. He was very up front about his price and he explained ways to clean the carpet on my own. Gave good tips and was very friendly as well.

They were very friendly. We haven't been back to inspect the work, but based on the reviews I saw online I wouldn't expect it to be anything bad.

Mike was great my carpets look new. Also spent time explaining how to keep them looking new. Provided money saving tips. Overall great job, will call next year for cleaning.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out alright. There was a couple last minute pricing that came up towards the end. I purchased for 5 rooms for $100 and when they showed up, they told me that would extra for my living room because my living room wasn’t counted. Next time, he should out something like that on the deal, that it may cost extra for larger rooms or if you may have a pet. Because those were not on the advertisement.

It went fine. I paid additional for some other rooms. It was good. It was a very good price. He was on time and he was very nice. I would use them again in the future.

Furniture was moved to clean area, and then set back in place with Styrofoam blocks placed between the legs and carpet of each piece of furniture. I was considering replacing my 2 Lazy Boy recliners, because the arm section looked brown from all the dirt and dead skin (it truly looked like crap). My wife was at home and wrote the check, so I was really curious about the overall look of the chairs. Mike and his helper (could've been his son), worked very hard and fast. When I got home, not only was the carpet very clean looking, the chairs looked like new. Mike honored the 10%senior discount (also available on the Angie's coupon printout). Overall I was very impressed. Because I have a dog (miniature poodle), Mike kept trying to convince me to also get the pet treatment for another $100.00 I declined, but I did my research first. The internet (several different sites) concur with treating areas where dogs have tinkled and even after sopping up with a paper towel, recommend spraying a solution of 1 part vinegar to 5 parts water to the area, because the enzyme breakdown will eliminate the growth of mold. I also have a little "Green Bissell" machine that I use on any area the poor little doggie may have erred (ya know they can only hold it so long), so I didn't think I had a problem that some people have with a non-compliant dog. Overall I would highly recommend Carpet Magic.

The set-up was as simple as a phone call. As soon as I said I was an Angie's List Member and had done my homework, he was ready to come out and do the work! He arrived a little late due to traffic; however, he still finished the work early. I did have to pay an extra $10.00 for the set of stairs as he indicated that counted as another room. Even with that unexpected increase it was still $18.00 cheaper than the nearest competitor! I would definitely recommend them and use them myself in the future!

Michael was late by about 45 mins so he did not charge for double room size for my master bedroom or living room. He was very apolegetic and personable. We walked through the job beforehand and he advised adding scotchgard on the high traffic areas after cleaning. I paid $60 extra above the 5 room deal for $100 I previously purchased off Angie's List, because I wanted my stairs done and the scotchgard treatment. Very reasonable service and my carpets were dry within 8 hrs as he had promised. He gave me two sets of plastic booties to walk around until the carpets were dry for a nice touch. Overall I am very pleased with Michael's workmanship and quality of cleaning especially since I had not had a professional cleaning for 6 years.

It was good. He kind of gave me a breakdown of what to use and not to use on carpets and what to do if it had odors because that time, usually I have odors and stuff like that. He basically asked me if I have any questions about that. His prices are reasonable. He was done pretty quick.

I was not present for the service, but I did not get a bas report from the person who was at the house.

He cleaned all rooms within a reasonable amount of time and it looked great. I plan to use him again and will definitly give his name to friends. I also like when it is an owner/operated business. I priced other companies and he was much more reasonable.

He arrived pretty much on time, and got to work. All in all, it wasn't bad - but he was obviously in a hurry to get to the next job, but still spent roughly half the time he was here on the phone. I understand that a small business owner needs to answer their phone - but the long drawn out conversations were excessive. The actual cleaning was ok, but the stains didn't come out (not his fault) and the soiled, high traffic areas are still noticeable. He did offer to stretch one carpet that needed it, which turned out very nice. The price was discussed up front - so there were no surprises.

Great, I have 3 carpeted rooms of the first floor, Living Room, Dining Room and a large Den. The Den always counts as two (2) which is only fair. Every other Carpet Cleaning Company (Big, Franchised and small One Owner) always said the Stairs would cost extra. Not Carpet Medic, when I showed him the areas, he said he'd do the Stairs as the 5th room. He was thorough and gave me some names of off the shelf cleaners he recommended for when my Grandkid's Dog shows up and has an accident. I would definitely rely on him again. . . very satisfied.

Mysterious royal blue stain appeared all over my bedroom carpet..mike indignant that he not caused it but nothing spilled in bedroom so suspect it came from some sort of residual in hose I went to far as to got back to carpet supplier who sent out territory manager for padding/ carpet. Pad was clean, back of carpet was clean, fibers at base of carpet pile clean so it was determined that something blue had inadvertently been sprayed on it or else prewash stain remover reacted with fibers in carpet ( highly irregular). I cried when I saw my carpet. There were three stains in it originally, they were still there and carpet now with blue stains all over. To give Mike his due he did come back twice to try to correct it but I had to listen to how fortunate I was that he came back and without charging me. Considering stains weren't there before I have to say I felt less than fortunate. Just had carpets redone by Atlantic Carpet Care. Great job.

They did a good job. They did it quickly and did a good job with it. We arranged a time and he showed up on time. He was thorough in doing it and he explained what he was doing.

I hired him to shampoo my 3 piece sectional and he did a thorough job. I will definitely hire him again.

Prior to the arrival I moved all the furniture from the rooms with the exception of the living where it was only partially removed. All the gentleman had to do was clean. He was prompt, courteous. Little more talkative than I expected. The carpets turned out as well as expected. They probably need to be replaced.

Price seemed reasonable for the services rendered. The quality of work was good. My carpets looks couple of shades lighter and closer to the color they were when new.

I live in Northern Va & needed to find someone to clean the carpet in my Father's condo unit located in Va. Beach. Since I was not local I was able to go to Angie's List & found the Carpet Medic. The recommendations & his price helped make my decision to call. After talking to him we arranged that he would go to the condo on a specific date within the week. Once there he then called me after looking at the carpet & assessing what needed to be done. The price was reasonable & our realtor thought he did a great job! And once I was able to go down & see it, I agreed. I would definitely use the Carpet Medic again.

Very satisfied. Michael was on time and very quick. Before he started, he explained that the carpet stains may not all come out because of the age of the stains and prior cleaning attempts. He also said the pet odor might not come out totally because it likely had gotten into the padding. Though he was correct about some of the stains, most came out and the odor was eliminated. This is the second time I have used this company and will continue to use them on my other properties.
