His work was very good. In fact we are going to be calling him back. He was very knowledgeable and very thorough. He did a great job. The results were fantastic.

Went very well! The carpets looked fantastic and the dog smell was gone. Took only 45 minutes max I think which was awesome!

When I first got the "deal of the day" it was a bit of a disaster, because right after we set a date his truck broke down and he had to reschedule at least three times. But, when he finally got his truck fixed and came to do the job, he did a great job, and even did a couple of spots in one room we did not ask him to clean. We have used him once, since, to clean up after the holidays, and no problem with the scheduling that time.

He had to reschedule. We were confused at when exactly he was coming. He was very quick we felt like he could have spent more time on the carpets.

Michael was excellent. Spoke to him on Monday and had an appointment on Thursday. Work that was done was excellent. Michael offered many other advice on maintaining my carpet. He offered other services without pressure. Highly recommend his services and will schedule another appointment to service 4 additional rooms plus my sofa (s).

I had scheduled to have some steps cleaned on Saturday 2/1/2014 at 1PM. At 115PM I called to find out where this service provider was. Carpet Medic told me on the phone that he was running behind because he had a bad battery this morning and he was currently at the job prior to mine-he would be at my location in approximately 1 hour-which would have made him at least an hour and a half late-ON A SATURDAY. The service provider knew much earlier in the day that he wouldn't make his appoints on time but wasn't professional enough to contact folks he had contracted with for service. I cancelled my appointment because you shouldn't reward bad behavior.

Excellent experience. Owner/operator arrived on time. All carpets, rugs and furniture looks brand new. Mr Horstman even got out an old stain that was previously unable to be removed with home carpet cleaner. Would definitely call again and recommend.

All the rugs were cleaned and looked good with the exception of two coffee stains, which did not.

He called an hour before arrival, as I had requested. He was fast, worked harder on the areas that needed extra attention, and gave good advice and tips about future stains and even dryer vent cleaning. Would use him again.

Overall good job. Just a little to chatty.

Offered additional services that we declined. Cleaned two small closets in rooms being cleaned at no extra charge. We were very satisfied.

It was very good. I think he was a very good provider. He was very reputable. He was the owner and operator of the business and he didn't waste any time. He came in, did his job and was very professional.

He did a great job, carpet looks new again. He gave me other helpful advice in removing stains in the future. He offered additional services services but did not hustle me. Will recommend to others.

Mike came and cleaned our carpets on a Friday afternoon right before Christmas. He was extremely thorough and spent time talking about our specific needs and use of each room. We have a black lab, and he provided great information on managing pet dander, oils and stains. He finished our entire house in less than 2 hours, and was prompt, efficient, and made our carpets look like new! We will definitely use The Carpet Medic again.

Had to reschedule twice due to his van being in the shop. He called with plenty of notice for it to not have been an issue, plus it was more convenient for me to reschedule anyways. Showed up on time, did a great job in little time. Carpets came out better than anticipated. Upsold me for the pet treatment, but the price was right. Will use him again.

He never showed. Rescheduled twice due to "malfunctioning vehicles" but the third rescheduled appointment, he never showed and never called. His reasoning for rescheduling was due to needing a new motor in his can and a vacuum hose that broke on his van however I see plenty of people still rating him during the time periods he stated he'd be out of service. Very disappointed. This is my first time purchasing through Angie's List and I must say I'm very disappointed and it has left a poor taste in my mouth.

It worked out great! We actually ended up getting more than that done. It stayed a little wetter for longer than we would have liked, but we were satisfied.

Cleaning went very well and results were excellent! Price is reasonable, but goes up fast as extras are added (e.g. cleaned a sofa and added pet smell neutralizer and carpet protector). Overall, very professional and feel that the cleaning prolonged planned carpet replacement. I will use him again next year.

It went well. He worked around our work schedule. He was fast and took care of a spot where my dogs liked to pee. There is no odor left.

The owner was indeed the one that showed up. He called to let me know that he was running late, which was fine. He arrived and quickly noted that I would "want" the special pet formula (extra charge) because otherwise my house would smell like wet dog. He also asked if I wanted Stainmaster applied. I said yes (extra charge). I will say that he was very quick and did a very thorough job. In fact, he had put his hoses away, and then realized that there were a few spots that he felt he could get better. He brought everythign back out and got the spots out. There were a few stains that he couldn't quite get out, but everything looked MUCH better after his treatments. I felt his prices were reasonable, even given the up charges. He tended to chat a bit and make his opinions known, but in the end was very quick and did a very good job. I would hire again.

The owner, Mike, was very friendly and thorough. Apparently, there were many spots on my carpet that he was not able to get up but he offered to come back to "cut out the stain." He upsold me on a few other treatments, which I honestly don't think have helped protect the carpet. A few stains have reappeared since June, but to be fair, I have not called to have him come retreat.

The owner was an hour and fifteen minutes past the time he estimated he would be there; however, he did call to say he would be late. I appreciated the call. We worked out the price, and he said the den counted as two rooms (I don't know why) and that he would move the furniture. He only moved the love seat and one chair back to the kitchen, while the rest of the furniture remained. He treated for possible pet stains but did not move the ottoman, which I thought was strange. It wasn't at all heavy (and was blocking an area of carpet). I ended up moving the ottoman myself while he went upstairs. No furniture was moved upstairs--he only cleaned the high traffic areas. When I checked, none of the stains in my son's room (in a prominent area) appeared to be treated and there was pencil lead on the carpet left over as well. The reason why I hired a carpet cleaner was to try and remove some spots, but none of that happened. It seemed to be simply a carpet shampooing job. During the cleaning of the den, the owner wore the same shoes he'd worn outside. Wouldn't you think that a carpet cleaner would wear protective footwear over his shoes to prevent dirt from the street getting onto the carpet he was cleaning? It seemed strange. His demeanor was also rather condescending in conversation, and he told me that I had already voided the warranty on my carpet by using spot cleaners to treat spots. In the den, he put the end tables on styrofoam blocks, but there was very little in the way of furniture moving. While the carpets are now softer and do look cleaner, I wouldn't use his service again. I was bothered by the fact that he wore unprotected shoes, he did nothing additional to work on the spots, and afterwards, there was still evidence of debris and dirt in most rooms and the den, which I removed by hand after he'd gone. Overall, I wasn't impressed. It was all right, but nothing that would make me want to use their service again.
