He was wonderful, he stayed late and worked very h****** all the rooms. The carpet looked brand new!

Not impressed. Tried to upsell me on sanitization treatment to remove the potential odor that would arise from the steam cleaning; did not even remove the stains on the carpet. The cleaner who came to steam my mattresses ended up removing the carpet stains on the landing free of charge.

Service was excellent, however, I think the price for the couch and loveseat was a little high for just two pieces of furniture (the deal was for $149). I had to pay separately for my chaise lounge, which was an additional cost-which I think was a little steep as well considering the amount of work I was having done (I had my carpets cleaned as well under another deal, then had to pay an additional $219.00 for extra pet cleaning on 2 areas, out of area cost (which I did not catch-my fault), and the chaise lounge).

Very well and there service was performed quickly. Didn't feel like a sales call when he discussed other product services available.

I scheduled the appointment on Saturday by phone. He said he had another appointment that canceled and would be able to come between 8-9 Tuesday morning. My fiancé, Derek, was at the house at 8 to do yard work. He texted me at 9:37 to make sure he had the time right because the guy hadn't shown up yet. I gave Derek the phone number to call and find out why he hadn't shown. I had also given the Carpet Medic Derek's phone number in case there were any issues. When Derek called him at 10:03am he claimed he didn't have any thing on his schedule for our address and that 8-9am was outside his normal working hours so he wouldn't have scheduled anything for that time. He then said we were scheduled for 10:30am. He called back at 10:11am and said that he didn't realize it was 10am when he said the appointment was at 10:30am and that he would be there at 11am. He called again at 11:35am to say he was 15 minutes away. Just past noon Derek had to leave and my roommate was there to oversee the work. He showed up sometime after noon, gave my roommate a different excuse for why he hadn't showed up on time, and was finished with all 4 rooms, the hallway, and the stairs by 12:49. He also added charges that my roommate was willing to pay for the cleaning in her room. There were no visible stains on any of the carpets prior to cleaning. It was a part of the lease for us to get the carpets cleaned when we left. If I hadn't been pressed for time to get the carpets cleaned I would have demanded a refund and paid anyone else double to clean the carpets. Nothing irritates me more than paying someone my hard earned money to perform a service and have them not take responsibility for their mistake. As you can tell by his posted working hours, the time scheduled was completely within his working hours. I most definitely do not recommend this company to anyone. He will waste your time and act as though it was your fault.

The Carpet Medic was good. I had no issues and they did a good job. They came in within a week or so from the time that the big deal was purchased. There was another fee, they wanted to do some deodorizing which I agreed to so that was another $50 on top of the big deal purchase. They're pretty prompt, they scheduled the service pretty quickly and they did what was advertised, I don't think there's nothing more or less.

Michael was great and the results were amazing! I had no idea the carpets could get THAT clean!

Learned a lot about how to care for my carpets in the future. Also got a great education on what the cleaning does to the fiber of the carpet and what a vacuum and home rug shampooer can't don't.

He did a really good job in terms of keeping up the carpet and getting professional cleaning.

Mike was professional and friendly. He was on time, did great work and charged a very reasonable price. I'll use him again!

Everything was fine. No problems with communication. We were going to schedule the service to have the carpets cleaned to sell the house, but a walk through buyer wound up putting a contract on the house, and so no carpet cleaning is necessary. Our new house is all hardwood floors, and so I can't use it here either. Thanks for the awesome offer, though!

Coupon was 100, hall stretching was an additional 175. Doesn't move all furniture. Won't move beds or furniture with electronics on them. Doesn't carry special stain remover for darkened wall carpet edges, unless he thinks the customer will want it, but doesn't ask new customers if they will need it. I did not ask about moving furniture before arrival, but he didn't offer his routine info to a new customer either.

Original "deal" was $100 for 5 rooms, but extra costs were added for 2 more rooms (stairs count, apparently) and stain resistance treatment (which we didn't have to get, but opted to anyway). He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and professional, completed the treatment rather quickly and left the carpet odor-free and looking great. Provided some outstanding maintenance advice, as well. Just bear in mind that stairs count towards the "room count" pricing, otherwise I would very much recommend his services in the future.

This was an awful experience. Note: My family moved out of the house completely days before Michael came to clean the carpet. The guy showed up between 11 and 2 as he said. His son treated the carpet (we have 2 dogs), (his son) steam cleaned the carpet and Michael replaced a patch of damaged carpet in one of the rooms. For all of this he charged $484.00 which was much higher than the quote (in his defense and only this 1 time, we did not get a quote in advance for the replacement of the small piece of carpet). The carpet cleaning: He quoted us $179 with $20 per room for pet treatment. It was our understanding that this cost included all rooms and stairs. On the day of the cleaning, he charged an extra $20.00 to clean the stairs. The next day, my husband did a walk-thru with the landlords and noticed some stains on the carpet. Michael was called to ask if he would come and touch up the carpet. My husband was told that he would come back if the spots were already there and not new. Otherwise, he would come back and charge us. This all happened the day after the carpets were cleaned. Michael knew we were not living there as he saw the house was completely vacant and was told that we had built a new house and moved into it. Not to mention -- Michael spoke with the homeowners who also asked if he would come back and touch up the spots and maybe do a better job. His response to them was to tell them that we had dog feces all throughout the whole house. Not only is this a blatant lie, but the fact that he would tell it to anyone is beyond upsetting (I can't say how it really makes me feel). After inspecting the house, it was found that the stairs were never done - even though we paid the extra $20.00. Michael was called and asked to come and redo the stairs. He said that he was never paid for it and refused to come do the stairs. It is on the receipt and we paid for this service --- service never received. In regards to the replacement of the damaged carpet.... he was given a piece of (extra) carpet from the garage. Instead of using this, Michael actually cut a piece of carpet from one of the closets and charged $125.00 to do so. He never asked if it was ok to cut from a closet nor did he use the (extra) carpet piece that was provided. So in all, we paid $484.00 for a horrible job... and he refused to come back and touch up anything, gave excuses and lied to the homeowners. I would NEVER recommend this company. ************************************** In response to the comments posted by this horrible company: It is a shame that you resort to telling lies instead of providing quality service. As I sent to Angie's List Disputes: I have only lived there less than 1 year (I can provide proof) and our dogs NEVER defecated nor urinated in the house!! Nor was this horrible man ever told that! I NEVER even met this guy so I don't know how he thought I did a walk through with him. Also, we had a cleaning service come in the day before who did vacuum the whole house AND I HAVE PROOF! Unlike Carpet Medic, the cleaning service did an AWESOME job. Your comment - Carpet Medic - is crap! The carpet was not destroyed. Please feel free to call the landlords. I will happily give you their number again if you need it. And yes, the carpets had been cleaned about 6 months ago. Again, have proof of that as well.******************* My husband called this guy to talk to him about the situation. The only thing he wanted to do was argue and talk over him. I was listening to the whole conversation. Interesting how you changed your story multiple times over the phone and it doesn't even match the crap you say in your response. So, yes, we will continue to file complaints where ever we can. Next step - legal action against you.

The carpet looked clean, but the two stains were still in the living room from the previous owners. The only reason I was getting the carpet cleaned was those stains in the entry way. I guess they did everything they could but I was kinda disappointed after the fact. Nothing against the Medic, but was hoping they could get it out.

He was professional, on time and did a good job of getting the carpets clean.

The experience went fine. Nothing really stood out. The owner is very friendly and very engaging. He is very helpful with the recommendations on how to maintain the carpet. There was some issue of some spotting and he came back to fix it. He was eager to correct on what happened. We paid some extra than the big deal because we got some protective stuff done.

The gentleman was friendly and he answered questions about carpet cleaning. He was thorough and he did an excellent job. I wasn't charged an extra.

Arrived on time, got to work right away and removed the 11 foot long ripple in the carpet by stretching it. Very nice to work with.

Hey I just want to thank Angie's list for providing me with carpet medic and to thank Michael for being early and ready to work. Him and he's son were a pleasure to have . I called because my stairs had stains that I couldn't get out and my kitchen floor grout was awful. Not only did he bring those things back to life he educated me on something's that could help me keep it nicer longer . I have already recommend him to friends.

Cleaned 2 emtpy 12x14' rooms and a set of stairs. Went well and did a good job for the most part. Renters were satisfied. I'll probably use them again but I think for the size of the job $75 would be a more reasonable price.
