concrete driveways
+ -1 moreWith all the rain that we have been having, scheduling the pouring of the concrete was made complicated. Thomas with his sons and other coworker had it planned exactly. The preliminary work was done the first day. The pouring of the cement was done on the second day. I promised not to walk nor drive on it for at least a week. The concrete settled and Thomas returned to remove the forms and replace the dirt and grass around the new walk/drive ways. It was done to my exact specifications. Thomas made suggestions and explained the advantages and the ramifications. We worked together well to get the best out of the new additions. They cleaned up the yard perfectly. They used their own tractor as well as hired a cement truck for the pouring. I am very satisfied.
Description of Work: The original walkway to the house as well as the curbside driveway was cracking. I contracted Thomas to replace the walkway, driveway, as well as put in a new walkway from the original driveway to join to the walkway before the front entrance. The original walkway to the curb was 40'. The new walkway was 26'x. The driveway repair at the curb was 16'x4.5'. The concrete from the entire original walkway and driveway was removed, and the new walkway was dug. 2x4s were laid as forms to pour the cement.
