Description of Work: Home Video copied all of our family's old home 8mm videos on to DVDs and they are amazing to watch! They preserved wonderful memories that would have been lost as the film got older. The quality is fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Arthur, the owner, transferred a number of old VHS tapes and even a few micro-cassettes into a DVD format. The final package of roughly 20 DVD's looked great, was assembled in a professional-looking and titled binder, with a label affixed to each DVD, and the DVD's under protective vinyl cover, each reflecting the title I had written in pencil years ago when the videos were made. He delivered the finished product earlier than promised. Arthur was very professional in every respect and I felt confident leaving my cherished video memories in his care, as he made the new copies in the desired format.

Description of Work: We lost my Dad years ago, and one day my brother came across all of the old home videos he made. There were 14 reels of the old 10mm type. Home Video Studio preserved all our family memories on DVDs and it was amazing to watch!! We watched them as a family on Mothers Day with our Mom and it brought back so may wonderful memories. HVS digitally preserved the films my Dad made and now we each have copies to share with our kids. Thank you HVS!

 + -1 moreI had about 13 videos full of footage ranging from 6-8 hours on each tape. They were transferred to DVDs with chapter breaks so it's easy to find what you are looking for on each DVD. Labels were made to order for each DVD. A very nice storage case was provided in the price and each DVD is in it's own slipcover. The price may seem high compared to other means of transfer, but the quality of work is outstanding. The work was completed on time as promised.

 + -1 moreBecause I had such a large number of items to transfer, I was initially hesitant to start the process. I got in touch with Home Video Studio and spoke to the owner of the company, Arthur Bradshaw, who went through all the processes and prices with me. What really pleased me was the professionalism and personality of Arthur. He is extremely knowledgeable of the various video/film transfers and is just a really nice person to work with. As I started performing video to DVD transfers in batches, I was very impressed with the quality that he was able to obtain from my old, deteriorating camcorder video tapes. Because of his location, I had a difficulty of coming to his studio during the week but he was completely open to having me drive out on Saturdays to pick up and deliver a new batch of items to transfer. I highly recommend his services from first, a high quality performance in transferring video or Super 8 film media to digital DVD formats, secondly for the reasonable price that he charges, and third, for the friendly and conscientious manner in which he treats his customers.
Description of Work: Home Video Studio processed the transfer of all my camcorder video tapes and an older collection of Super 8 films to digital DVD format.
