Description of Work: Service was great, very professional, they had removed a 35 foot pine trim another tree and removed a very large bush in about 2 hours. The price was unbeatable, I would highly recommend their services.

Description of Work: Butch came to meet with me about the dying tree that needed to be taken down. I did not even know when he came but the job was done and the site cleaned well. One thing he did not do was to take down branches that had sprung up along the roots, which I had requested he do. I do wish he had cut the stump a little closer to the ground, but in all fairness, that had not been part of our discussion.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from this company. They did not do the work for me. He came out and looked at the job and said he would get back with me with an estimate, he did not get back. I then cancelled the deal and was refunded.

Description of Work: There were two very large trees with rambling roots that extended from our yard into our neighbor's yard, which Butch's Tree Service removed. They also trimmed back a thirty year old Bartlett Pear that we were concerned would be lost in the next big storm due to the density and weight of its branches. They were prompt in regard to their promised date and time of arrival, were professional in every way, extremely knowledgeable, and cleaned up everything. We would use them again, and actually have an estimate for them to do another job after the holidays.

Description of Work: They cut limbs from trees overhanging the front and back of house, cleaned the debris from the roof (except for a small portion left on the front roof), and hauled away all of the cuts and debris. I was very pleased with the results.

Butch is the Owner and was my contact point and did all the tree climbing duties! He was easy to talk to, gave us an resonable estimate to remove two huge oak trees and ground the stumps. Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for tree services from Butch's Tree Service. Butch came out several days after I contacted him and gave me an estimate for the work. He said he would call me when he was able to put me on his schedule. After six weeks with no return call, I contacted Angie's List reps to have my big deal money refunded. Butch was very pleasant and courteous when he came to look over the job. It was disappointing that he never actually called me to do the work.

Description of Work: Butch's team removed a tree with about ten huge arms, located adjacent to our pool. The team worked in a coordinated fashion. doing the job in three hours. They cleaned up thoroughly.

Description of Work: I found this company through Angie's List Big Deal offer and after reading the comments I decided to purchase the Big Deal. I tried to make contact both by phone and email but had no response. So I decided to wait a few weeks since I thought they may be busier because of the Big Deal. I sent an email and got a response that the owner was having phone trouble but would be touch. After a few missed calls we made contact on a Thursday and he stated he would be out around 4pm and would call when he was on his way. By 7pm that evening I had not heard from him and he had not showed up. So I contacted Angie's List Customer Service and received a refund. Much to my surprise that Saturday he showed up at my door without a phone call and when my husband explained we were no longer interested he said okay and left without an apology. I am not sure how he received an "A" rating because I did not have that experience with this company.

Description of Work: Butch did a great job for us. We hired him to trim branches off a big oak and several pine trees. Butch also took a look at several other trees on our property and gave us a solid judgement of where work was needed. Butch was friendly and professional, as was his crew. We will use them again.
