Butch's Tree Service

They were excellent. They were cheap. You call to get quotes and people don't show up. So they kind of won by default. They cleaned up everything and planted grass. They did an excellent job.

Had an appointment and no one showed up. Called and left message and I didn't receive a call back. Wasted my time waiting, now I have to find a tree service that will actually show up.

I have hired many contractors lately for various jobs. Butch' Tree Service was by far the best. He was very nice to work with, punctual and did an outstanding job. I have other work and would hire him again.

Laid out plywood to protect my yard. Dropped them without breaking anything. I would definitely use again.

It was a tight situation to get a large tree out of. He couldn't grind the stump but he got it really low. The crew was professional and cleaned up everything before they left. Best estimate I got and I was pleased with service. Will use him again.

Great! I usually get estimates from several people but Butch was able to give me an estimate in a timely manner so I just used his service. A neighbor had nicely told me that a tree had fallen from my yard, across a canal, and into his yard; it was almost impossible to see from my yard. I did not want the neighbor to have to wait longer so employed Butch who arrived on Monday to complete the job. It involved getting the tree from the water, my yard, and my neighbor's yard - quite an undertaking! He did the work professionally and removed everything without leaving residue in the yard. The process took longer than he expected but the job was done that day.

We had a dead tree near our house, fence and deck. We thought they wouldn't get the chance to take the tree down until Friday but they were able to come earlier!! They were very kind and professional. There was good communication. They cut the tree down without damaging anything! We will definitely recommend Butch's tree service. We were very pleased.

The whole team arrived around 830, and the the whole team worked steady all day long in a very cheerful mood, friendly towards everyone. Only took approximately 1 hr lunch, worked til dark to get it all done in one day. They raked the yard very well to make it as clean as possible. My next door neighbor was watching them and was also very impressed with their speed and efficiency in working together as a team. Their work practices are awesome, very hard working team that worked awesome together. I will definitely recommend/use this team for any future tree needs. They were awesome!

I requested an estimate on Tuesday and Butch promised he would come that evening or the next morning; he came that evening and gave me an estimate and told me he hoped to do the work toward the end of the week. On Thursday, Butch called and said he could do the work late that day. He and his four man crew came in late afternoon and proceeded to trim all the trees that I had requested be done and made certain I was happy with the work accomplished. Butch had to climb one of the trees to remove high limbs. They picked up all the limbs and then raked the yard. Butch and his crew were all very friendly and it was a pleasure interacting with them. I was extremely pleased!

Butch and his crew were efficient, very tidy, and pleasant. They came, they knocked out the work, communicating with me about any questions they had, and preferences I had. VERY pleased with the work, and I plan on hiring them again for tree removal this fall! They were far and away a less expensive option, but were every bit as high quality as any other service.

They used plywood to cover yard when driving stump grinder to the 3 roots so that my yard would not be torn up. Butch's Tree Service did an excellent job in clearing out the overgrowth and debris. The removal will allow the remaining trees and other plants to sunlight, flourish and not have to compete with unwanted plants. The results will also allow us to better maintain our property and put in plants that will enhance the space and hopefully promote pollinators and butterflies in the area. The work was done on time and the cleanup to include blowing the remaining leaves and debris further back into the woods was an extra plus. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others.

It went really good. He does good work and is very punctual. They cleaned up the debris and took it with them. Also the swept the street as well.

Service was quick and efficient. I met with the owner on Monday and the company did the work on Tuesday. Owner arrived with a small army of people. They did a wonderful job of removing/trimming everything I wanted and cleaned up quickly and exceeded my expectations. My wife did ask for a few additional changes and they did these things without additional charges. Bottom line, when I came home and saw the work this company had done I immediately knew I had to recommend this company. This company gets an A++ from me.

They were exceptionally good. Butch was at the scene, doing most of the more dangerous work. They came on time. I called up three different companies. One had an answering service and I never heard back. Another one said, "We'd be there in a week." They never showed up and they never called back. Butch said, "We'd be out in two days," and he was out in two days with a crew. They did something that other tree services didn't. They actually took out their blowers and cleaned up the entire yard. So, it was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. They showed up with all the equipment. They put the dead branches and leaves in their truck. It was an exceptionally good job. They found some things that I hadn't noticed, but, indeed, needed to be corrected - a dead limb hanging here and there and nest and things of that nature. It was $500 flat fee for the day. It was a fair price because they must have been into at least 10 of our trees that needed some work. It was $50 a tree. The guy was going up some 30/40 feet. That's high hazard work. They did it very nicely, without damaging the bushes below or the house or anything. They were very meticulous. I would use them again. The quality was exceptional. They did a superb cleanup. They were within 10 minutes of when they said they were going to arrive. That's punctual for me. Today, with the traffic and things, I think that's exceptionally good. They were professional. Young people, but, very professional.

Very professional, cleaned up all mess

Arrived with appropriate equipment including a bucket truck. Squirrels and another larger animal (raccoon?) had taken up residence in the tree, so the contractors had to deal with that. My neighbors were impressed at how they handled the job, and asked them to trim some tall trees on the spot, which they gladly did. They took everything away except the stump grindings, which I asked them to leave and used as mulch. There was no damage to my house or driveway. Professional job and down-to-earth people.

I am a repeat customer of Butch's. He and his team do excellent work at a fair price. This time, they did maintenance cutting to help keep my back yard from being taken over by the wilderness. The work included trimming back branches on many of the large trees surrounding the yard, removing some small trees that are too close to my work shed, removing trees and limbs from the front yard, removing azalea stumps at the roots, and shredding all the yard waste. The price was very fair for the amount of work done, and they were able to complete the work just days after the estimate. Butch's Tree Service is the only company I think of when I need tree removal or foliage clearing done. GREAT company!

Butch and his crew removed five trees, ground the stumps, and cleaned up everything in my yard. Yard looks great now and I couldn't be happier. Work was done on time and fast for a good price. Would use again for any future needs.

Asked Butch for a quotation for tree work. Stated he would try to make it out on Monday, but due to work schedule, it might be Tuesday. I asked Butch to call prior to his arriving so I could be there to discuss what I wanted done. Butch never showed. I made two follow up phone calls and neither one was returned. I have used Butch in the past and the work was great.....surprised and disappointed with the lack of service.

Very professional... Brought in crane which made for very efficient job with little adjacent damage..very busy time of year... I had to wait but then they called and came that same day..I'm still waiting for other tree services to get back with me..

The crew was very polite and they worked quickly and efficiently to get the job done. I was thoroughly impressed with the clean up and the care that was taken to be able to ensure that my yard was not ruined by the hauling away of the tree. I would give my highest recommendation for using Butch's Tree Service again for any future needs.

It was good. They were nice, polite and quick. My husband interacted with them. We didn’t have any complaints. The work turned out good. We got some more work done.

I called and left a message requesting an estimate for the pruning of trees in my yard. I never heard back from the company, and I did not follow up because I had two other companies that responded and scheduled a time to come out to my house within less than 48 hrs. If they as a company do not feel the need to respond to a customers calls, then I am not going to continue calling them to follow up as if I am their mom. I will not use them or recommend them to anyone based on the principle of poor customer service.
