Butch's Tree Service

Will not consider using their service in the future.

I failed to contact Butch?s Tree Service befor the exp date and Butch?s Tree Service do not contact me. As a result, no work was ever done. Maybe next time.

the original plan was the be done in june 12 but other things happened and plans had to change. I contacted Butch and he said he would honor the coupon. We finally got the work done 3/22 /13 They called arrived and accomplished a great job and cleaned up good. Will use them again if needed.

The experience was wonderful. Butch came out in advance for an estimate. Came early for appt., and stayed till job was finished. Cleaned up thoroughly. Butch is extremely professional, fair prices, and great work. I would definitely use him again. Samantha

They were prompt. They basically just took care of everything. They saw what the problem was that I was describing and they basically cleaned up after themselves. It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased and they gave me the service that I asked for. They were pretty prompt. They were right on time once we settled on a date. They got back to me almost the same day when I gave them the first inquiry. They were very professional. They had pretty good equipment around them. The worker that came around was very professional and he knew what he was supposed to do and he basically knew how to carry out the service.

Job performed as promised. Butch came out provided an estimate as promised, I noticed that he was having a special $99 for $200 worth of service, I emailed him and he said that he would honor it even after he gave me the original quote of $300 for the job, so he saved me $100. They came out removed the tree and cleaned the area and we were completely satisfied. thanks again for the professionalism and promptness in completing the job.

Butch and his crew were showed up on time as scheduled. The work was excellent, all large branches were neatly cut and removed from my yard. They even moved items on my deck away from potential falling limbs. Cleanup was excellent, price was good, and I will contract them again this spring for trees that need trimming.

Best arborist I have ever encountered.

I contacted two companies after reading their reviews on Angies list. Butch came in hundreds of dollars less than the other company and that was on top of doing more work. He arrived on time and his crew got to work promptly. They finished in about 5 hours and aside from the obvious tree pruning you would never know they were there. His crew did such an excellent job that I decided not to use the 10% off coupon I had. He even took down some poison ivy that I was concerned about. Thanks Butch.

Butch was initially called in to give a quote on hauling away a large pile of limbs I had already cut from smaller trees in my back yard but I wasn't sure if he was interested in a small job. I called to check on his availability and he showed up that day (Friday) to give me his quote. After he arrived and I talked to him, and since he was a certified arborist, I asked for opinions and quotes for trimming two Bradford Pear trees in the front and two large crape myrtles in the back. He gave me an honest assessment of what he thought should be done with each of the trees but never pushed in making a decision. We discussed each tree and then I was given a verbal quote for the limb hauling and the other pruning. It was sealed with a handshake. We expected the work to be done the following week but Butch was in the area on Sunday and said he could perform the work. He showed up on time with more than enough equipment. The job was done professionally and the clean-up was superb. We were impressed with how he would get up in the tree to make his cuts but would periodically come down to check his work from the ground before preceding. We even walked over to another house we own to look at the tall trees there. No work needed to be done there, but we will use Butch again if we ever have any need for tree services.

16The job went well. They set up and got busy on the job. What a dangerous job. After removing the limbs they cleaned the area and removed that limbs. They also agreed to removed a limb from a tree that hadn't been discussed originally.

I bought a Big Deal certificate to use, and in the month before the certificate expired, I called this company twice and left messages to try to schedule service. I received no response at all, and ended up contacting Angie's List for a refund.

Butch responded to my initial call within a day and showed up on time to view my property. He gave what I considered to be a very fair estimate for tree trimming and shaping. I have a fairly large yard and many trees. I chose to wait until the winter to have the service performed. He called two days ahead of our agreed upon time to re-confirm, and then again the night before. He and his crew showed up with two trucks and a shredder on time. His professional crew then proceeded to trim the selected trees and shape them. Excellent job. I will use Butch again.

It took a while for us to align our schedules, but once they came out to do the job, they did it quickly and professionally, and left a clean yard behind. I would definitely go with them again.

We were in great need of some help for our yard both from a certified arborist and from someone who could do the necessary work for us. We found both in Bruce Pullido, owner of Bruce's Tree Service. I noticed the Big Deal which he offered on Angie's List and seeing how highly recommended he was, I purchased the deal. We could not have been more pleased with both the company and the work. Mr. Pullido came to the house shortly after I called him. We explained that we were interested in more work than was offered with the coupon. He gave us a very reasonable estimate including credit for the coupon, so we decided to schedule the job for a short time later. His advice was very good and much appreciated. For example, we were afraid that we would have to loose the tree which was being smothered in ivy. However, he advised us that he and his crew could in fact just remove the ivy and save the tree, which indeed they did. All of the trimming and tree removal was done beautifully and really opened up our yard to the sunlight. The crew was very pleasant, efficient and professional. They brought all kinds of vehicles and equipment to cover all the jobs. (Watching the process became a neighborhood event.) Mr. Pullido was on site most of the time and in fact did much of the fine work himself. The whole process took two long days and near the end the entire ground was covered with trimmings etc. but every piece was cleaned up and shredded on site He and the crew had done an excellent job from start to finish. The yard had never looked better. We will most certainly use this company again.

We had purchased a Big Deal for $500 of work for $250. Butch was very pleasant to deal with but it took multiple phone calls to bring him out for an estimate, and did not return to complete the work despite multiple phone calls over two months. Finally contacted Angie's list to return the Big Deal voucher and sought another vendor to perform the work.

Service was done while I was at work

The whole arrangement and the services went extremely well. We were very pleased.

Butch was great. He was able to come in when we needed him and did an outstanding job removing our trees. We even recommended him to our neighbor for her tree removal. She was very satisfied as well.

This was the first time I'd used this company. Very pleased with the quality of the work performed. Butch and his co-workers were professional, punctual and cleaned up the lawn of all the debris from the stump grinder. I would hire him again if I needed his service. Already referred him to a neighbor.

Service was good, but it seemed to take all day. I've seen tree take down move along quicker. Three fellow's were very nice, good yard cleanup at the end.

I called Butch about removing a tree stump and about 5 small/medium sized trees. He came by for to give an estimate within a few days. Since it was a small job, he said it may take a little longer to schedule as he would tree to combine my house with another job in the area (Norfolk, near Granby H.S.) Also, he only gave me a verbal quote. Nothing was written down. Nearly a month went by without any contact from Butch. I finally called and asked when I might expect him to do the job, he told me he could be by the following week to do it. True to his word, his team came by the next week and did a great job removing everything I wanted. They also did a great job cleaning up behind them. There was barely a wood chip in the area where they ground down the stump. And he also remembered the quote he gave me and held to it (although I would have liked to have had something written.

Our experience was great. Butch's service came out to the house while we were at work and when I came home all the work had been accomplished and the area was cleaned up of all debris. I would use his service again in the future and I highly recommend him.
