Butch's Tree Service

I had previously got a quote for a bradford tree removal of $450 and the back area shrubs etc for $300 or so, I never got it done, and after a while saw the angies list deal for $279 for $500's worth of tree service. I asked for the shrub area only thinking as the deal was worth $500 I could also at least get the tree in the front trimmed. Not so, they told me that the back area would cost the whole $500 coupon as the original $300 quote was if I got the big tree removed. I felt a little cheated but I guess I should have straightened this out prior to the work so its my issue. Overall they were very nice and polite, I would have liked them to take more of the little stuff left behind and maybe my rocks put back after they dragged bushes out it pulled the small rocks out front but not a huge deal. They worked hard, it was late and the equipment cost a lot so I understood. I would use them again just re-verify next time!

Butch came out to give me an estimate on tree service. My husband had more work to be done than I realized so I called Butch to come out again. He said he was on the job and would call me back for an appointment time. I never heard back from him again.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out well. I hadn't realized that my husband had used Angie's list when they came out and then my husband said he had bought a big deal, so they honored that.

The job was performed very proficiently. The workers well mannered. Clean up was great! No complaints.

I would highly recommend them for any type of tree service. From calling to get a quote, the return call w the price and info to the actual work...it was an all around professional job. The team came did their job and cleaned up and left all within an hour...Thank You for a great experience!!!!!

Butch is great to work with -- very professional, no hassle, cleans up afterward. Considering the amount of work required and the heavy equipment needed, his price was quite reasonable. He used a crew of four; so the work was completed in a single visit. It could not have been better.

Butch returned my call the same day and stopped by to give me an estimate, which was very reasonable. He showed up with a crew and pruned 12 crepe myrtle trees. Butch operated the bucket truck himself and spent several hours working, with his crew putting the limbs into a chipper. When they finished pruning, they totally cleaned my yard, raking up every bit of debris. My front yard looked better than it had when they arrived! I was very impressed and will not hesitate to call Butch in the future.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out very well. He came out within a week after I purchased it to discuss what we wanted to do. I wasn't in any hurry so he came back last week to do the work. It was $500 worth for $250. They cleaned up the site and took everything away. It was a good experience. I got a good deal on the initial service. The $1,400 is kind of steep but he has to take down a huge limb and he will have to have a bucket truck to do it so the price is fair. He is a certified arborist. I will absolutely use him again.

They were great. I wasn't there when they performed the service, so I didn't have full input on which limb I would've preferred to be trimmed versus the ones that they did. He called me while he was doing the initial once over to see if is was possible and what services could be provided, but while he was out there he was like, "Well, I have my crew out here and if you want we could go ahead and get started," so I was like okay. So needless to say, when I got home, it was already dark and I couldn't really take a look. So when I got up the next morning to take a really good look at what was done he pretty much did a very good job on trimming most of the limbs that I wanted. There was one main one that I would have preferred being trimmed back and it wasn't. They had to move my patio furniture to make room for their equipment, I assume, but they never put the patio equipment back. They left it on the grass and stuff. I guess they had some water bottles that they didn't throw away which they left on the furniture as well. A lot of the wood chips were left on the ground and I didn't know if that was something to be expected because I didn't read it on Angie's List as far as that being something that should've been left up to the consumer to clean up all the wood chips. I love the look that he did. It did accomplish that initial thing, but there was one that was kind of lingering when I took a better look at it the next day. I thought if I was here I'd be like, "Could you get that one as well," and I'm pretty sure he would have. But what they assessed without me being there they did an okay job.

Butch and his crew worked together like a well oiled machine. All the work was completed to my satisfaction and the work areas were left clean. I definitely got my money's worth and will use them again!

This is the second time I used Butch's services. I was very impressed the fist time and was equally so this time. I purchased the half price coupon. Butch came and surveyed what was to be done and said the coupon would cover the work and he would come back the next week to complete the job. I was not at home when they came but when I returned everything was done as agreed upon and cleaned up beautifully. My neighbor did observe them and was quite impressed by their work. Apparently a thunderstorm interrupted them but they stayed in the truck and waited until it blew over and finished the clean up. I highly recommend Butch and his team.

Butch's Tree Service ran a special on Angie's List. I left voicemails on both their telephone numbers and sent a message on their website. They did not respond to any of them. Evidently they were too busy.

Company arranged appointment timely and arrived on time. Performed all tasks requested and also add-on work requested on day of work. Very happy with results. Will call on again.

Butch showed up when promised to give me an estimate for the work, and said he'd come back and do the trimming in about 2 weeks. Three weeks later, in the middle of the day, I received a call at work and he said he was at my house ready to trim the trees, but there was a vehicle parked underneath that he needed to have moved. I rushed home, moved the car, and they started to trim. The odd thing was, there were severe thunderstorms all around, and they had to break twice due to the heavy rain. They blocked me in the driveway with their equipment, so I never did go back to work that day.

He a good guy. He's straightforward and honest. I'm definitely considering them.

They visited twice. First to assess our needs; second to do the job. They moved outdoor furniture and equipment out of the way, cut the correct limbs, and cleaned up nicely. We were very pleased.

There was some mis-communication about when they would arrive, but when they got here they went right to work. The three of them were very professional and kept me informed about what they were doing. When they were finished, they did a superb job of cleaning up all the debris...my yard looked great. I was very pleased with their work and will definitely use them again when needed!
