Anthony Randolph Plastering & Drywall Restoration

Excellent in every respect. He was prompt, completed the work by the promised time, and cleaned up nicely upon completion. The ceiling looks as if it had just been installed in a new house, except with better quality paint.

They were very professional and thorough, completing the job ahead of schedule; even with the snow days that happened. I will schedule him for the rest of my remodeling, and hope you do also.

Anthony was extremely responsive in coming to my house to review the work I needed done, but he never called me back with an estimate. Few things are more annoying to me than having to hunt down contractors (who have already come to my house) to solicit responses or estimates. If you are not interested enough in my business to call me back, why would I think you care enough about the quality of your work?

Guy was punctual, personable, and did a great job. Highly Recommended!

I could write several pages singing the praises of Anthony Randolph and how great this turned out,but..... I am completely impressed with his work and I am not easy to please by any stretch of the imagination. He is awesome and without hesitation I recommend him and his work. Why? 1. He returned my calls and came over twice to accomodate my changing needs and address my questions--before he even started the work. 2. He provided a thoroughly detailed initial estimate, and final bill(I added work as we went along.) Both were very reasonable. 3. The work was exceptional. His plaster repair work was/is just beautiful, impeccable-artistic even. If only I could afford to have the whole house replastered. Painting-spot on near perfect; trim replacement-he may have missed his calling as a master carpenter. He even repaired plaster problems, (cracks, holes) I had overlooked. 4. He is practical and has an eye for detail and the "big picture". I'm always looking to save money-especially as these sorts of things tend to grow and grow. I asked his advice/opinion on other projects around the house, and found him to be creative and quite thoughtful-such as selecting replacement lighting for the kitchen, bathroom, adding lighting in the hall,etc.-decisions which were cost effective and practical-considering my limited funds. 5. I trust him.

Anthony Randolph showed up right on time and began work immediately. He went to get some supplies and protected my bed, dresser, tv, and wall all very well with plastic sheets. I have never had a contractor protect my home as well as Anthony did. He is a very kind, honest man and did an amazing job on the ceiling. It took about 1 1/2- 2 hours and in the end I really couldn't see the area he fixed. I was concerned the popcorn ceiling wouldn't match but it did. Highly recommend him!!!!

GREAT! Anthony was responsive from the very first call. He came the next day and provided us with an estimate. He and his associate began work within days and completed the job within the time frame predicted. Anthony was able to schedule the job in the late afternoon, early evening so we didn't have to take time off from work. They were punctual and professional throughout the entire job. The job site was kept clean and plastic sheeting was hung to prevent any debris from circulating to the rest of the house. We would definitely recommend Anthony's company, and would use him again if the need arises!

We contacted each other right away and he came to do a full and detailed estimate of what his services would cost... and that is what he ended up charging me... there were no extra add-on cost after he started. Repairing the water damaged area above the fireplace required that he replace a small piece of ceiling wood and the damaged drywall primarily on the ceiling but a little on the wall. He then plastered it up so that you couldn't even see that repair work had been done. It looks great! After finishing the drywall repair work he returned the next day and painted the entire wall effected by the job and made the ceiling popcorn looking stuff perfectly. I enjoyed talking philosophy and telling war stories with Mr. Randolph while he worked! My wife had to ask him if his ears hurt yet several times... followed by telling me to shut up! I was very pleased with having Mr. Randolph do this job... he is truly an intelligent and well spoken retired Navy man... an all around good man in fact. It seems his Navy experience has blessed him with a dedicated and industrious work ethic and I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a highly skilled business owner and workman who demands perfection in what and how he does what he does... and especially if they want someone with a GET IT DONE RIGHT ATTITUDE!!!! .

They did an excellent job. No mess left behind. The job took 1 1/2 days, Mr Randolph was here for 3 hours to begin the first day's jobs and his assistant remained. Mr. Randolph and his assistant returned on the second day to finish sanding and apply any more fine plaster to any of the work from the previous day. Had some difficulties with missed phone calls and emails prior to the job. Partly my fault since I don't text. Again, an excellent job and I have already recommended his services to a friend.

Mr. Randolph came to us highly endorsed by a friend who had received work from him earlier in the year. His estimate was lower than others received and there were no stipulations added to the estmate...it was cut and dry. He arrived when promised and finished when promised. He was very dedicated to providing work of the highest quality possible. He was always polite and courteous and took extra care to ensure that cleanliness was at the top of his priorities. I will definitely call upon him again for future work. Thank you.

Very responsive. Provided detailed estimate and completed work as described. Quality work, pleasant personality and cleaned up after himself. Very happy with the result and plan to use him for more home improvement projects.

Anthony was wonderful. He was on time for both the estimate and for the actual work in my home. He was careful to put down protective paper and tarps through out the house, not just the immediate work area. His prices were very reasonable and his workmanship is superb. If I ever need dry wall work done again, he will definitely have my business.

Antony has painted for me for years. Anthony is exceptional good at what he does. He never leaves a mess. He comes in and gives me his price. He will give me an invoice and he follows up. He does his work and he never drops a bit of paint. In fact he will paint out a doorframe and he won’t even put paint down. He is really good. I have also had some plastering done because there was a leak in the wall. He came in and he hollowed out the wall. He took out the stuff that was in the insulation. He put it back. I had a leak in the kitchen. He came; he hollowed out and fixed the plaster. The husband of a dear friend of mine had a stroke and he was in a wheelchair. The wheelchair couldn’t get in the bathroom so he literally cut the door bigger. He then put it all back together so that the wheelchair could get in there. He has a fair price. He also redid my mother’s house after she died. He came in and he painted. He did trim work. He put in a new toilet and a new sink. Anthony does really great work. On price, I have used him for so many years and I don’t have anything to compare it to.

Started the first week in August. A job to take three days went to past August 18, 2013 and has not been completed. He changed the contract in the middle. I asked him for a new contract when he stated he was changing it. On August 18, 2013 sent email to ask for new contract that had not been received. He then sent an estimate for 1500.00 which was the old bill. He never sent the revised bill until later and it was for 1200.00 and the only work was for a corner of the ceiling. The orginial bill for 1500.00 to replace the entire ceiling. The new estimate did not have a warrenty. .He had to leave and was to contact me after Labor day and he has never came back and he has never contacted me. I have contacted him several time. The ceiling is in disarray. The work has not been done correctly. We now have to call in another contractor. The ceiling is now leaning which was not the way it was in the beginning. He was late and never on time. At this time I have been forced to hire someone else. The other contractor noted that the job that was completed was horrible and had to be completely redone.

He is very professional and down to earth. I was very pleased with the service.He is very meticulous about his work.

Anthony was excellent. He was on time for his estimate, his estimate was emailed to me several days later, and he showed up bang on time to do the work. As for the work. EXCELLENT! I can't say enough good things. I had several smaller repair jobs, which I've learned and noticed are actually the most difficult because they require blending into another persons work. He did a fantastic job. Aside from the color difference because I haven't painted, you can't tell a repair was done. My wife and I are extremely happy and know who to call and recommend for anyone needing plaster and drywall work.

Anthony is a master craftsman at Plastering! I would vouch for his integrity anytime; this summer Anthony worked in my home on two separate jobs with no supervision. I?d give him the keys to my home anytime. Thank you Anthony!

I have hired 4 contractors for different jobs (friends of friends) in the last 4 months. Tried Angie's List and found ANTHONY!! All other contractors have failed me. Either quit the job, didn't finish job, etc. I was beginning to think all contractors were worthless until I met ANTHONY! He was awesome. Did job quickly, professionally and with a great price. Want to thank him for renewing a positive attitude towards contractors. Definitely the best!!

i set up appointment with him to look at the job. he was on time tpo the first appointment and he suppos to give me estimate but, i never heard anything from him about the estimate.

Went well. Very kind gentleman. Timely. Quality work. Price seemed a bit on the high side, but given all else it was worth it.

He has been very professional, courteous, on time and he really exceeded our expectations about going above and beyond. The movers moved our stuff and he had to move a lot of stuff in and out and had to re-position it to the area of need. So he's been very courteous an friendly. We felt what he charged was fair for the job.

I spoke with Mr Randolph at his contact phone, which was his cell phone. He was en route his job but agreed to meet me to provide an estimate before he went to work. I arrived at the location where Mr. Randolph was to provide the estimate early and waited at the site for more than 2 hours following the scheduled time without contact from him. I don't believe I am interested in conducting business with someone who makes an appointment during my work hours and fails to show the courtesy to contact me if they are unable to meet the scheduled appointment. Before he claims I should have called him but I also don't think it is appropriate for someone I will be paying to do something for me to make me pay twice - there are many other competent and willing to meet scheduled appointments.

He was the only one who called me back, and I called three or four people from yours and they never even responded back. When I called, he was the only one who came out. He drove all away from Chesapeake. He was very professional and very clean. He was incredible. He was super nice. He came out and he was like, "No, no, no, you are important". He drove from Chesapeake and I called a bunch of people in Yorktown and Newport. They were like 25 minutes from me, and they were like, "No, you are too far". They wouldn't even come up. He drove an hour and a half. He came up that night. The price is excellent.

This was truly an outstanding experience right from the start. Mr. Randolph was prompt in providing an estimate and worked closely with us in modifications to the job in order to fit our desires. The job proceeded on schedule with Mr. Randolph personally performing all of the detail work himself. You could tell at every stage that he was a perfectionist who was dedicated to pleasing the customer. His work ethic was that of a true professional. All steps of the job were performed efficiently and of the highest quality. I would highly recommend Anthony Randolph for anyone who is looking to have a top quality job done.

The attention to detail that Mr. Randolph demonstrated was amazing. He made every effort to correct 42 years of imperfections and damage to the doors using his expertise in working with fillers, sanders, etc.. To accomplish this, where necessary, he took the doors off-site in order to guard against imposing smell of oil base primer in the house. The period of the job was plagued with rain however Mr. Randolph took this in stride and made no excuses that would impair the outcome of the job. The results: Beautiful "new looking " white doors. Throughout the job I remarked several times that Mr. Randolph is a perfectionist who can be proud of his work. I must add that Mr. Randolph's and his helper (Devon) worked well together. Devon took care of all those little noticeable details that contribute to success of the job. This was truly teamwork. The second part of the job- the hallway/foyer painting also demonstrated efficiency and quality. This part of the job was completed in minimum time.
