I cannot praise Mr. Randolph's professionalism and quality of work enough! We were moving in new tenants and thus had to work around the prior tenants' departure and our new tenants' move in. Mr. Randolph worked our needs into his schedule, including very early and late night hours. He went "above and beyond" by hunting down the exterior colors required by our condo association, even taking a shutter down and into the store to have the paint matched! We had a mix up over two bedrooms and which color they were supposed to be painted, and Mr. Randolph quickly, and without complaint, repainted both rooms. The quality of his work was exceptional, and we and our tenants could not be more pleased with the results! Mr. Randolph is a quality professional; do not hesitate to give him your business!
Description of Work: Mr. Randolph painted a majority of our rental condo's interior and also the exterior's shutters and trim.

I don’t have the information about the estimate right now because I’m on the road right now. If I had a wall board job I’d grab him. He has fantastic reviews, thirty six of them to be exact. It was a tough decision to make. I had to shortlist the estimates from the others to three, and then to two and finally selected one of them. He was very exact about his estimate. He had many more favorable reviews than the others. One contractor can have two reviews and be outstanding. I wanted to go with someone who had good reviews. I will contact them if I need any drywall work to be done. I would use their services again in the future.
Description of Work: I got an estimate from Anthony Randolph Plastering & Drywall. I did not use their services. They came out about three weeks ago to give me the estimate. The estimate was for the general painting of the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and also doors and cabinets. He’s primarily into plastering. He does painting also.

This was an excellent experience and i would refer Anthony Randolph to anyone needing to have work done in his area of expertise.
Description of Work: My living room and dining room ceilings were primed to cover some water stains and painted. Four of my upstairs windows had drywall bubble from water damage. Mr. Randolph and his associate quickly and efficiently attended to each issue. They arrived exactly on time and worked continuously until the work was complete. Mr. Randolph even went out to the store get a piece to repair my blinds that got broken when removed. Both men were completely professional and pleasant; I was absolutely comfortable having them in my home and will use their services again.

Anthony and Jose arrived promptly and did their work in a very professional manner from start to finish. We felt like we got what what we paid for. We could have went with somebody at a cheaper price, but I had confidence that Anthony knew his stuff and I was right.
Description of Work: Anthony took down our popcorn ceiling in the foyer, skim coated the ceiling, primed and painted it. He smoothed out the ceiling in the downstairs hall, primed and painted it as well. He also repaired the walls in the foyer, and primed and painted the walls. They primed and painted the front door and the rear patio double doors too.

Anthony repaired some drywall nail pops in my house in January. Unfortunately, a few of them popped back out. Anthony stands behind his work and once I contacted him about the situation he immediately came back out and corrected the problem by replacing the drywall nails with screws. He plastered the repair work and blended the swirl pattern with the existing wall. The fact that Anthony stands behind is work is remarkable; you very rarely find someone in this day and age with his level of commitment, care and quality of his work. The fact that Anthony did not charge me for these repairs as it was covered under his warranty is astounding. If you ever require any of Anthony's services do not hesitate; he will stand behind his work and make sure it is done right.

We are about to install a new closet in an ante-room of our bedroom. It has required moving a wall, removing baseboard & shoe molding, and sanding down and refinishing the sections of hardwood floor where the wall and baseboard were in order to have them match the rest of the room. All of that having been completed, there remained a vertical gap in between the bottom of the existing drywall and the hardwood floor. Normally this would be covered by baseboard & shoe molding, but a prefabricated closet will be going in instead. We didn't like the idea of a gap lurking behind the closet that might allow critters and result in poor insulation, so we called Anthony. He filled the gap with matching drywall and plaster and put down a bead of caulk the next day when it was dry to ensure it was fully sealed. He procured painting materials and painted the entire closet in a nice white paint with a satin finish which he recommended for ease of wiping off if it gets dirty. The ante-room looks fabulous and is ready for closet installation next week! Thanks, Anthony!

Anthony arrived when he said he would. He and his helper went right to work. They were soft spoken and stayed quite focussed on their work. They were very accomodating to my need to go through that room with my dogs from time to time as they worked . After the job was done they cleaned up nicely and we talked for a while. I will be asking Anthony back real soon to do a painting job for my husband and I. I would recommend Anthony Randolph to everyone that needs any painting or plastering done. He is reliable, fast and polite.
Description of Work: After contacting Anthony, he came over and inspected the area I needed him to work on. He responded quickly with a detailed and reasonable estimate of the work I had requested. He had to replace a large area of drywall on the ceiling in one of my rooms. He also had to plaster it after sealing. He matched the design in the plaster nicely to the existing pattern.

He was just fabulous. I have already recommended him to other people. He has a nice personality and the whole works. I will absolutely use them in the future.
Description of Work: Anthony Randolph Plastering & Drywall did a lot of the plastering of the holes and cracks around. I had one window that needed restoration on it because of the damage that rain had done to it. He did so much work. He painted and did the whole works.

Mr. Randolph did some plaster work (walls and ceiling) and interior painting (ceiling, walls and stair risers). We are very pleased with the work he did and has done in the past for us, as well as his professionalism. The wife especially appreciated the fact that he cleaned up after himself each day and there was minimal cleaning upon completion of the job. Highly recommend this company. We are planning on using him again to do some exterior painting in the Spring.

Anthony came in as scheduled to perform the demolition. He was very careful with our personal belongings and sensitive to the hardwood floors. He and his assistant taped thick tarp paper to the floors while they were working. The removed all debris and swept the floor clean once the demolition was done. I paid them one third of the project estimate at the completion of the demolition work, and we agreed that the rest of the money would be due once the project was complete. I told him the schedule for the separately-contracted electrician and gave him an estimated date on which he could return to finish up. Once the electrician finished his part, which was to install lighting in the ceiling and a switch in the wall, I called Anthony to firm up a date for him to return and patch up the walls and ceilings. Anthony arrived with his materials on the scheduled date and put his materials in place, but he was ill and in need of a doctor, so we agreed that he should return when he was feeling better. He was willing to return on the weekend, if necessary. He returned two days later (a Sunday) at about 11:30 and performed the lion-share of the drywall. He came back on Monday morning at 0830 with his assistant and they finished around 2PM. We inspected the project. I had him make 2 minor touches which he performed willingly and promptly. The alcove looked better than I had envisioned. I consulted him on two other potential projects, paid the difference and shook hands. Great job, Anthony and Jose!
Description of Work: Anthony and his assistant removed the riser and header of a closet to open up the closet (approximately 8'x2') to the bedroom and form a large smooth alcove. Once the electrician had cut up and installed lights in the ceiling and switch in the wall, Anthony and his assistant returned and installed drywall patches where the riser and header had been and patched up the ceiling and wall where the electrician had cut. The finished wall perfectly matches the adjacent walls.

Anthony came to my house and looked over everything to give me an estimate. He is quite busy so the estimate took about 1 week to get but it is thorough and he did not deviate from his bid. Anthony and Jose showed up 10 minutes early ready to work. Both doors were installed in about 4 1/2 hours and they were meticulous in cleaning the work area. While I had dedicated an entire day for them to work, I had a half day to myself because they were done so early.
Description of Work: Anthony and his partner Jose, picked up all the hardware, to include two doors. They installed an interior door in an opening where one did not previously exist. They also replaced an exterior door, complete with frame and new threshold that leads outside from the same room. This was Phase 1 of 3 of work Anthony will be doing for me.

We are very pleased. We HIGHLY recommend Anthony Randolph. He is very professional, arrives on time and goes the extra mile.

It was an excellent experience. Mr. Randolph came and did our dining room first so that we could have some furniture put into place and then came back to do our great room. He and his assistant were very professional and did a outstanding job. They were very polite and were exceptionally nice to my son who enjoyed watching them paint. We will absolutely use them again in the future.

Anthony promptly contacted me to schedule an estimate. He arrived on time and was courteous and professional. I contacted three painters who had good ratings on Angie's List for estimates. To my surprise, NONE of them took any measurements. None of the three provided an estimate that included a cost per square foot or inch for labor or estimate of the amount of paint it would take with cost estimates by paint grade. None provided a separate cost to hang the photograph. It seemed that all three provided WAGs. None measured to determine the size ladder or scaffolding required to complete the work. Two other painters provided estimates within $50 of each other, which were twice as expensive as Anthony's. As Anthony is licensed, bonded, and has excellent ratings on Angie's List, in addition to the best price of the three, I selected him to complete the work. Due to not measuring the height of the area (everyone assumes it is 2-story versus 2.5 stories) Anthony arrived without the correct height scaffolding. He completed what work he could with what he had and then returned on another day to finish the work. We were going out of town for a few days, so then he had to wait to come back to hang the photograph. There were additional issues that revolved around stud alignment, etc. to safely hang the photograph which caused stress and would have been alleviated if everything had been measured in advance. However, Anthony was committed to hanging the photograph safely and professionally, and making sure we were happy with all of the work. To compensate for our inconvenience and to ensure customer satisfaction, Anthony volunteered to take care of any high area requirements that we had that would not have gotten done otherwise, at no additional charge, including placing some decorative items on the window ledges and directing lighting to enhance and highlight the paint work and photograph. After all work was completed to our satisfaction, he and his helper cleaned up and placed all furniture exactly where we wanted, even providing expertise and recommendations on placement/symmetry, etc. Additionally, I purchased some paint from Anthony for small, easy-to-reach, self-help sections--which he sold to me at his cost. I am very happy with the work he did, and feel that I received best value. He was as careful and considerate with my belongings as I would be, maybe even more. I would definitely hire him again. My only recommendation to him and to future customers is to measure everything in advance!!
Description of Work: I had Anthony complete some painting in a 2.5 story loft and hang a large professional photograph--both the painting and the placement were in a hard-to-reach location. The job required scaffolding, paint and painting accessories, hardware to hang the photograph, and a second individual to assist with wielding the very heavy and very wide photograph.

Mr. Randolph responded to my phone call almost immediately. He was on time for the estimate. Gave the estimate and when we decided to hire him, he and his crew were always timely, professional, and clean. Mr. Randolph plastered, drywalled, and painted interior walls and ceilings of a house built in 1968. It had may issues. He did walls, ceilings, removed a bookcase and paneling. They found some very old Coke bottles when they tore out a bookcase - we were not there - but he gave them to me at the end of the day. He did a great job of making wall paint, plaster and drywall. There were many different types of ceilings and walls. He did a great job of matching everything up. It took a good while for everything to be completed but that was not Mr. Randolph's fault. Other contractors (especially the electrician) were slow at completing their end of it which caused Mr. Randolph to have to wait. He was extrememly patient and professional throughout the process. Never once did he complain about the obstacles. His crew was alwaysl very professional and did an excellent job of cleaning up each time they worked. Mr. Randolph even came back and took trash away that was not of his making. Of all of the contractors we had, Mr. Randolph was way out front. He even had one of his crew complete two door frames that we were having problems wich that were not on the original estimate. He took responsibility & replaced a door glass that fell out while they were working which was not at all his fault. I know this because the breakage was a result of an action on our part. I would definitly recommend him and use him again.
Description of Work: Did drywalling, plastering, painting on existing interior walls, removal of bookcase and old paneling and drywalled this area. Sheetrock of ceilings. The quality and integrity of his work was excellent.

Absolutely the best! I contacted Mr. Randolph and he came to my house the same day for an estimate. That night he attempted to email me a detailed estimate, however there was a technical issue and I could not open the email. I contacted Mr. Randolph and he drove back to my house the next morning with a printout of the estimate. I told Mr. Randolph I wanted him to complete the work we discussed but my schedule is extremely busy and it may be short notice... He was very understanding. I called him on a Monday and told him the next day I had the afternoon off. He came over around 1pm on Tuesday and stayed until approx. 9pm that night to get the job done. He and his assistant were extremely professional and polite! The work is top notch as well. If you need drywall/plaster work use Mr. Randolph!

This was an excellent experience. Mr Randolph responded quickly to my call for service, providing an accurate and very reasonable cost estimate. Mr Randolph and his team were very courtious while conducting the estimate and when they came out to do the actual repairs. The work they did is flawless, even given that they were working in a small-ish bathroom and in a corner. I would definelty recommend them, and in the future if I need more plaster work or painting done I will call Mr Randolph.
Description of Work: Due to incorrect builder caulking between a bathroom shower stall's tile walls and plastic tub, water was able to infiltrate into the plaster wall/corner near the shower/tub, leading the plaster in the walls to bubble/flake/disintegrate. After I corrected the caulking issue, Mr Randoph removed all the disintegrating plaster and debrie, and repaired it with new plaster compounds and finishing materials so that the repaired sections were imperceptible from the healthy plaster.
