Description of Work: Remove water-damaged ceiling drywall, crown molding and insulation. Replace.

Description of Work: Removed approximately 10 sq ft of ceiling drywall in our dining room so we could locate a leak upstairs. Once leak fixed, returned and replaced drywall in ceiling, applied plaster and textured plaster to match the rest of the ceiling. After both visits, cleaned up work area completely.

Description of Work: Anthony did a great job. He plastered a bathroom, replaced & repaired a water damaged section of ceiling, repaired numerous cracks and blemishes. When water damage to a ceiling joist was uncovered, Anthony imediately knew the right person to call to fix the problem the next morning. He and his helper were very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend him and will likely be using him in the future.

Description of Work: We had the popcorn ceilings removed in the dining area, living room and sunroom and a hole repaired that was caused from a leak in the ceiling. This was a 4 step process (including painting) that went beautifully! The process took several days, but it is definitely a job that you want a professional to do. All the floors were covered and plastic covered the walls and all the furniture that couldn't be moved. They were a big help when it came to moving our stuff (big leather couch) from one room to another and back again. The entrances were perfectly done so I could easily lift the plastic to go from one room to another without dragging the mess from one area to another.

Description of Work: I used Angie's List to scout for painters to paint three rooms in a hurry just so we could move in at the end of the week. Mr. Anthony was our 2nd choice based on the reviews but our first choice who had more reviews was based in Richmond and could not schedule me for another 12 days! So, I went with Mr. Anthony who is NOW my FIRST choice for all my painting needs. Initially, I sent the email to Angie's List and Mr. Anthony replied with a phone call that same day and came to our house that evening for an estimate! Mr. Anthony listened to our concerns and left our house that evening around 6:30pm and I had a written estimate in my email by 10:30pm that same night. Of course, we (my wife and I) hired him and the next morning promptly at 8:00 am, Mr. Anthony directed his two employees how to proceed. So, they proceeded to paint our three interior rooms which included the kitchen, formal dinning room, and a 14' x 14' living room--as well as lots of white trim along the baseboards and windows. Truly complicated and time consuming. However time consuming I thought the project might be, it only took two days for Mr. Anthony to complete! The final product was amazing! Angie's List needs to have a way for me to share a photo as I would love to--only the photo would not do it justice as we truly loved the finished product. Mr. Anthony even shared his expertise, as we requested, in choosing colors for our formal dinning room that totally exceeded all our expectations! Even the large living room had a few streaks in the paint only noticed after the paint had totally dried an entire day later, all that was needed was to call Mr. Anthony and he showed up that evening after he had completed other jobs and beautifully completed our project; which also turned our amazing! Overall, we could not be happier and we would highly recommend Mr. Anthony as well as we will be calling him back when we decide to paint the other 4 rooms! He was truly a blessing when we needed one! Thank you also Angie's List!

Description of Work: First, Mr. Randolph showed up to give me the estimate when he said he would. After reading reviews on this site, and meeting him, I decided to go ahead with the job. I had some general repair work that needed to be done, as well as some repairs as a result of water damage from a roof leak.

Description of Work: Repair of crack in living room ceiling. Called Mr. Randolph who found time for me in his schedule that evening to come to my house and give me an estimate on the crakced ceiling. I had accidentally stepped on it while getting Christmas decorations down 2 weeks before and cracked the ceiling. He told me he could come out the next day after I got home from work in the evening and take care of it. He was there promptly at the agreed to time and he did a remarkable job and matched up the plastering with the rest of the ceiling. I would not hesitate in hiring him again. A matter of fact I have some more work i need to get done down the road and he will definitely be the first one i call.

Description of Work: Drywall seams in the ceiling that had cracked over time were repaired and smoothed. Numerous wall cracks and holes were repaired and a unused wall vent was removed and drywalled. Repaired rough in drywall in the laundry room. Removed popcorn ceiling in one room and recovered it with smooth ceiling.

Description of Work: We have 20 year old town house with popcorn ceilings and "textured" accent walls, also wanted to remove a decorative soffit between the kitchen and the dining room. Mr. Randolph and his crew took down the soffit, tore out the old walls, redid the ceiling with new sheetrock, taking care to make certain the light fixtures were where they should be. I had a very limited complete date w/c was tuesday evening. i was ecstatic w/the price quoted compared to the others in your list. He and his painter, Jack, also extremely professional showed up punctually at the appointed time monday, completed the job superbly. After having a plumber remove a leaking drain pipe and replacing it with a new one, there was a large hole in my wall that needed to be repaired. In addition to replacing drywall, I also needed someone to replace wood in my floor from water damage caused from the leak.
