ACTIVE PAVING

This group stopped by our shop requesting work. We had them patch two potholes. The work was uneven, not compressed, and the edges started crumbling within a day. When asked about this, the owner, Huey, gave multiple excuses. The real kicker is that several days later we found one of vehicles, a specialized trailer, had been entered and ransacked. When surveillance video was reviewed, one of his workers was observed entering and leaving the vehicle. When confronted with is, Huey stated he didn't know the worker, and he had picked him up along the road for extra help. This guy brought an unknown person on our property, left him alone for over 30 minutes, allowing this guy to vandalize our equipment. Absolutely do not recommend these guys. They are unprofessional, untrustworthy, and horrible quality work.

We are very disappointed with what happened on this job. They laid the tar and gravel, and were supposed to come back and put a sealant over the first layer. We never saw them again. Without the sealant, the gavel spreads all around our yard, and is tracked into the house. We have to sweep the driveway every single day, because of this. Now we will have to hire someone else to complete the job. We called them several times and the owner never returned our call. It was a huge mistake to pay them in advance; we will never hire them again.
