PROFESSIONAL HOME INSPECTIONS

Was told by the home inspector the home only had cosmetic issues & the home had a good structure & solid foundation about a month or two after moving into the house i had to call a plumber because of leaking pipes under the house he said they all needed to be replaced it was cheap pipes & he said the home inspector should have told me that & i would keep having leaks if i didn't replace it i had to pay $1000.00 for new plumbing it was one thing after another i found out after that i had some kind of wood boring bugs eating away at the house.. had to have extermination they said it was obvious it had been going on for a few years after that i found out the beams supporting the house was crumbling & that caused a problem with the roof ending up i had to let the house go into foreclosure because the house wasn't worth putting all that money into it. I used the home inspector because the real estate agent recommended him..now i have lost my house, have bad credit & have to take bankruptcy because of owing for the home be careful when taking recommendations from a real estate agent & if you have to get a second opinion on a home inspection do it don't take it lightly.

Did great job. Performed walk thru with service provider. Reviewed all major aspects including foundation, HVAC, roof, structural, attic, basement, appliances, utilities. Very professional. Great report - very organized and easy to read

He went thru the home fine but failed to tell me about how serious the problems were with the home. I used him because the real estate agent i was working with (kelly bates) recommended him. When he finished with the inspection & was going over everything he assured me there were no major problems & i didn't think about it at the time but he said something about the floor on one side of the house was kind of uneven he said it was just the age of the house & the wood floors just needed to be sanded. A while after i bought the house i started getting leaking pipes under the house come to find out the house had cheap plumbing & had been having problems all along. I had someone come to do some checking under the house for the foundation some of the joists were crumbling thats why the floors were uneven. I was told the problems looked like they had existed for 4 or 5 years & who ever did the home inspection would have been able to see this. Thats the way people in real estate work. I do believe that Bob Shipp the home inspector saw these problems & just did not want to tell me. The home inspector Bob Shipp knew the real estate agent he just wanted to get the home inspection approved so wouldn't have to bother with me because he was really busy at the time & wanted his real estate friend to be able to finish the sale & get her commission.

Bob was courteous and prompt. His report was printed out on site and ready for my review the day of the inspection. It appears to be very thorough and just what we were looking for.

Both times I hired Bob he arrived promptly and investigated every corner of the property. Prior to leaving he asked for feedback, "Have I answered all your questions?" He did this both times and it really impressed me. He prepared an in-depth report which I've found helpful to refer back on as I prioritize work.
