Bill was quick to respond to my call. He came with the correct supplies, tested his work, answered my questions, and was friendly and professional. There was a problem that I believed was due to the cold water hose getting ready to burst, and I thought was corrected. I hadn't asked Bill about the specific problem, and it seemed to be fixed as I saw him test the water flow. Later, I found the problem still existed. I called Bill back about it. He answered my questions about the issue and allowed me to decide whether or not the issue was worth the cost to repair. (cold water valve isn't working to allow the water to flow through at the correct volume. The rinse cycle will just take longer to complete.) If it gets to the point I need to go ahead and repair or replace, I will call Bill.

Bill knew the models we had before looking at the appliances, just by us telling him the symptoms. He also determined the cause of the problems and what the possible solutions/costs would be. He still conducted the inspection to verify his suspicions. He, of course, was correct. He gave us a quote to replace the failed washer parts AND gave us the approximate cost of a new unit. He also informed us that the dryer has a controller that has typically caused the issues we were experiencing. He explained there is no "fix" for the problem. Again he suggested a new unit would better serve us. We agreed. Although we hope to never have appliance issues again, it would be our pleasure to call on Bill and WRM in the future! Our service worker's name was Bill Nathan. He was great and reasonable, he had to come back twice because the original part didn't fit right. He also gave us a senior discount.

He came out the same I called and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. He is very friendly and answered all my questions.

Bill performed testing on both appliances and determined that the washer was working well, and that the dryer was working well but the dryer vent was clogged. He turned on the "Spinsense" option on the washer which should improve the vibration during the spin cycles. He charged us only his basic home visit fee, and recommended a company to clean the vent. He was wonderfully educational, explaining what was wrong and how he determined that.

I called and got an immediate response on the same day. I believe it was the owner. He was very friendly and explained what broke--i.e.,the lid switch on the washer. He fixed it at a price cheaper than what others were charging according to my research. My wife asked him to look at a plumbing issue and I noted that he was an appliance guy. Nevertheless, he agreed to look at it and explained to me how to fix my faucet--for no charge. Once he explained it, I wondered why I had not figured it out. This is our new appliance guy for as long as we are in Lansdowne.

Bill arrived right on time and was very professional and friendly. He was very responsive to our questions and gave us options regarding our repair.

He was quick to schedule appointment, he was on time, he is very friendly and professional. He is honest about issues and the cost of repairs. He took extra time to look for best price on part and got back to me quickly. He explained the situation thoroughly and helped me make the right decision about service/parts/price. He did more than necessary to help me understand all my options with no extra compensation....just to be available to his customer...he answered my text message/question about parts/services and went above what he had to do to earn his $65 flat rate. I will absolutely call him again if we have any appliance failures in the future!!!

He responded within 12 hours and provided a preliminary diagnosis and price. He came at the designated time and the initial diagnosis was correct. He made the repair at the price quoted.

On 3/21/14, I called the WRM Appliance phone number and received a message that no one could take my call but someone would call me back. Within an hour, Bill called me back. He was very personable on the phone! He knew exactly what was needed and asked for the model number. Once he had that, he said he would be coming by on 3/24/14 between 8 and 10 am. He showed up at 10, ready to go! He is a very friendly and personable guy and went right to work. Within 10 minutes, the dishwasher was good to go. Even though the issue was not mechanical in nature, it still needed to be done. This is much better than putting detergent in the dishwasher, starting it and then setting a timer for about 20 minutes and then putting more detergent in! The original price was $198.00 but WRM has a 10% off with an Angie's List coupon available! It was a win-win! Bill services all brands of all appliances! I will definitely be calling him again! Bill is extremely friendly and knows his stuff. He made sure he had the filter head replacement specific for my refrigerator before coming out to see it so he could repair it in one shot. He confirmed his diagnosis within 30 seconds of arriving. Very pleased with his service and outcome.

Called the number listed and left a voice message, Bill responded quickly. Since I needed some time to confirm the available time, Bill hold the appointment time and called again later to confirm. The service call went very well. He arrived in the scheduled timeframe and was very courteous and quick. He replaced a wheel in the pulley part and now the dryer is screech-free.

Bill Was great To Deal With, Excellent service . I'm truly one satisfied customer and will entrust my next project to him ,did a phenomenal job on two projects for me before Thanksgiving , and I don't think I'll look for another vendor--he's the one to go to. We were highly impressed by the quality of work and the Friendly service.

Bill was awesome. Called him in the morning regarding a leaky washing machine and he was out that afternoon. He diagnosed the problem and made a repair with some sealant rather than ordering expensive new parts. We'll see how it holds up but he was very freindly and professional. Will call again if we need other repairs

He was great. Told me he thought our problem could be fixed - and told me how to fix it. (built up hard water deposits.) Told me what product to buy and what to do. And how long to keep doing it before I gave up. And he was right. And to think I was ready to buy a new dishwasher - he told me to try his remedy before I did that. Saved me lots of money. I plan on calling on him for any further appliance problem.

I discovered a leak in my dishwasher on Friday and called Bill. On the phone, he talked me through finding the model number so that he could determine what part he needed and ordered it right then. The next morning he came out and installed it, and I had my dishwasher back in service by 10am!

After calling another appliance repair firm who told me my oven was too old to be repaired, I spoke with WRM, who offered to look up the part he thought would be needed and see if it was still available. He did, it was, and he showed up the next morning to repair my oven. Pleasant, punctual, reasonably priced ... my new go-to repairman!

My freezer was occasionally running warm (noticeable by softer than usual ice cream). Right before Thanksgiving it stopped cooling altogether. I didn't know what to do, looked at Angie's List and found WRM Appliances and gave them a call. I am glad I did! Bill was able to diagnose the problem over the phone, and knew I needed to replace the cold sensor. He came over first thing the following day to get the part information and was able to somehow bypass the sensor so the fridge would stay cold (by not shutting off). this would allow me to be able to use the fridge & freezer for Thanksgiving until the part was available. Turns out I got lucky and the part was in stock. Bill installed the new sensor the day before Thanksgiving and saved the day. Bill was pleasant, efficient and very knowledgeable. He arrived exactly when he said he would and knew exactly what the problem with my fridge was after only asking a few questions. He saved not only my Thanksgiving dinner, but hundreds of dollars I may have spent on getting a new fridge. If I ever need another appliance repaired, I don't need to consult Angie's List. I am just going to give WRM a call.

they came out to check why my dryer tumbler was not working. it was determined that no real maint was required, but restart by rotating the drum a couple of cycles. I was charged only for the service call. very friendly and honest team. | |Weldon

I called and left a message with WRM Appliance on a Monday afternoon and received a call back within the hour. Bill asked some questions regarding what happened to the cook top. I explained I was cooking and there was a loud pop sound and I saw a bright flash under the glass cook top. I told him the breaker tripped and I was unable to reset the breaker. He indicated that it sounded like a control / switch failure. He was able to fit me in the following morning. Bill showed up promptly and got right to work. He was thorough in verifying the switch that had failed. He replaced the switch and carefully tested the operation of all burners and the exhaust fan. If would highly recommend WRM Appliance if you're in need of appliance repair. Bill did an excellent job at a fair price.

He told me he could fix it, but could not tell me how long it would last. He was honest and helpful, which I appreciated. He also showed me a few ways to make it a quick fix. He told me he would buy a new oven before he would pay to fix this problem.

On the initial call he obtained info as to the problem (dryer wasn't heating) and asked for model number so he could check parts. Mr. Mason showed up when promised, was very efficient in diagnosing the problem, tested the old part to make sure it was at fault, and installed a new one . Before he arrived he took the time to look up the parts for my model and made sure he had one on his truck to avoid return trips. He was professional, skilled, and polite. I will definitely use WRM for future appliance repairs.

Perfect. One of those small businesses that pay attention to details, make it as easy as they can and have an upbeat, professional attitude. Dealing with WRM did NOT leave me exhausted! Will use them for repairs on any of our appliances in the future.
