Description of Work: Today, Scotts provided free aeration and seeding because I was unhappy with the 12 month contract I had with the company from April 2014 to April 2015. Last year, the lawn became thin with more bare spots. The new manager agreed to seeding this Fall and today they came through as promised. The Technician also left a 2 pound bag of seed for future issues. It appears the new manager wants to correct problems and take action.

Description of Work: Scotts Lawnservice has provided fertilizing, weed control, and lime application for my lawn for the last 2 growing seasons (since spring of 2011). Everything is great. The lawn is plush and green; there are no weeds; and my new neighbor even commented on how good it looks. I am very happy with Scotts Lawnservice.

+ -1 moreCompany visited and applied various chemicals, assumed to fertilize and control insects etc. There seemed to be no attention to plant conditions or need for any but the pre-planned care, regardless of its effectiveness. No corrective action until too late, in spite of requests. Attempted corrective action only was applied (too late) to only one of many affected plants. Throughout the season, about 15 mature bushes died and had to be replaced, due to multiple different causes (not all at once).. When I called these to attention of company, subsequent inspection or corrective action was delayed too long to have any effectiveness. Main complaint relates to bush/shrub care. Lawn care was mixed. Main front lawn is fairly healthy, but there are large areas that are dying or unhealthy, in spite of regular irrigation.
Description of Work: Paid company for annual care of lawn and shrubs/trees, for routine fertilizing, insect and fungicide control, but not including weekly mowing.

+ -1 moreThe price of the contract was reasonable. Throughout the course of the year I noticed that the lawn was deteriorating. The back part of the yard was deteriorating. My neighbor told me that they would only come and do the front yard. I called the company and told them that they were not doing it. Each time they would talk to their driver and swear that he was doing the entire yard. For several months the yard was still deteriorating. My neighbor said that they had come and did nothing and billed me for fertilizing my lawn. Their was no fertilizer in my yard. I got a manager to come out, and he could not even find a single pellet of fertilizer. I canceled my subscription to them.
