They only sent reminders the morning they were coming to spray, and with the latest treatment, they killed 60% of my lawn. So I cancelled the remainder of my treatment. What I thought was a deal for one year ended up costing me over $2000 to redo my lawn. They obviously don't know how to treat lawns in my area. Guess why I never saw them treat any of my neighbors' lawns. Live and learn (a very expensive lesson).

+ -1 moreThey came out to kill weeds. They seem to be light on their application. They can use some improvement. In their defense you can get them to come back for a 2nd treatment if needed. They are about average for pricing but I think it's a bit high. I probably will continue with them for awhile, but not sure I'd recommend them to anyone.

+ -1 moreWe have a contract with them, so they come out to do fertilizing, it's a total of eight treatments for the year. They were probably out here two weeks ago. You can pay one time for the year or you can pay per service. They come when they say they're going to come. Just one person comes to complete the work. It takes approximately an hour to complete. I've used other companies before for the same job. TruGreen has the best price, and they're very responsive, I don't have any issues. All they do is stick a little yard sign on to say they've been there, so yeah there's no problem with leaving a mess. They call the day before they come. If I have issues with recurring weeds they will come back for free and treat those areas. They're very professional, they seem very knowledgeable. They came out and did an assessment of my yard and what it would benefit from. Just like I say they're the best price around.

+ -1 moreI had a decent yard, grass, re-seeded grass and they killed it. I have no idea how, whatever chemical they did, did not mix well with my yard, my grass. It killed my grass, instead of better grass, I got worse grass. In fact, I going to have to re-sod my yard at this point. They’re very nice, but killing the yard. I would never use them, never recommend them, in fact I would tell people to stay away from them.

Description of Work: They do all my fertilizing and lime, some pest control. I do annual contract with them. They do flow control, lawn care, flow ph, tree and shrub and some pest control. Customer service is great, whenever I have questions, I get them answered. They call ahead before they come and they knock on the door, tell me what they are going to do, leave me an invoice, a thing that says what they did in at the end. Really good customer service.

I’m wishing that our fellow customers don’t waste time and money as I’ve done. I spent almost an hour imparting constructive suggestions not criticism of how I've been deceived and calmly explain to supervisor and their supervisors… All I wanted to do was cancel one or two services . As a consequence of their crack training, I asked the third supervisor to cancel all my services and subtract what they think I owe for the service. And refund the remaining prorata. + -1 moreWe use TruGreen. They were out here this week. It cost like $90 or somewhere around there. They try to up sell you. When they say they're going to be here their here. I've never had any problems with the guys that come out. We will probably not use them in the future because we're moving into a town house that has no yard so I don't think we'll have a yard again.

+ 1 moreThey are great! They are so professional. They will send out an email letting you know they came to your house, and let you know what services they provided. You also get a note on your door with the same information. I like they will let you know if there is an issue, and not do any hard selling. The technician noted one of our trees was unhealthy so he provided a treatment for that tree. The tree is blooming beautifully now. They do a great job with quality and professionalism.

+ -1 moreIt was a tough job. It was a very good job that they did and they did a great job of recognizing what was the weeds. It was really great to have it in. There's one other person on our street that uses them for the lawn also and she's always been very happy with them. That's how I found out about them. They come every Monday to do the lawn. Ours is not a big yard, a lot of it here is not grass, it's a garden bed but I know at least the pricing is the going rate, maybe better.
Description of Work: They put down fertilizer and stuff. They also did a job of pulling out ivy that has grown in the flowerbed. They they put down green, mulch on the top of that.

A technician came out, could not diagnose the problem, took pictures and promised a return the next day. Today is the 23rd of June. Still no response in spite of the 5 calls I have made to follow up. All calls have been professionally answered, except for one of these who was rude. All promised a prompt call back from a manager. NO ONE HAS EVER CALLED!!! Today I have a new estimate from Lawn Doctor and have solicited bids from other providers.

+ -1 moreI think they are excellent. They tell you how much they use. I have a huge yard. It is almost an acre. I tried to do it myself and I cannot buy it and do it myself cheaper than this guys could. They are very punctual. They let me know when they are coming so that I do not take the dogs outside and give it time an hour or so after they had been out there.

+ -1 moreI paid for services in advance to get a discount. Big mistake! I have had to call to remind them to come several times. I believe that once they have your money you are put on the bottom of their priority list. The automatic telephone message they leave says that they will be at your house within the next few days but usually they don't show up until several days or weeks later. They came yesterday, September 24th, but according to their message they left on my voicemail they were supposed to be at my house around September 1st. They didn't give any notice why they changed the date so I called last Friday. The phone representative had no idea why the date was changed either. I was told that a manager would call within 24-48 hours. 6 days later, no one has called. I also completed a survey the company sent by email and because of my poor ratings it said that I would be contacted by a representative. Still, no call. I have had to call several times for them to come back because they didn't do a good job. My yard has paid the price because of the company's lackadaisical attitude. It is full of weeds and large bare patches. It looks worse than ever. I would attach a photo if I knew how to do so. According to their website, their "work is backed by the TruGreen Healthy Lawn Guarantee...and ensure your satisfaction." If they gratuitously aerate and overseed, they might ensure my satisfaction. Start all over again!
Description of Work: I hired TruGreen because according to its logo it would "provide the greenest, healthiest turf by giving your lawn everything it needs to flourish."

+ -1 moreBecause of the Tru Green Name I contracted them one year ago for lawn and Tree/Shrubs. I did all they asked and gave them a American Express card to use. By the middle of the summer my yard looked like crap. Had a meeting with Tru Weed and they said I was not watering enough. I increased the watering and no change. By the end of the summer no improvement. They said it was because I did not have their spring application and I would see a major difference in the spring. Spring is here and I have more weeds than I did when I started. A week ago I called customer service and asked to meet with a rep. No return call. This week I called and asked for a manager. I was told no mgr was available. I asked for a call the next day. When no manager called they seemed surprised when I called and fired them. Tru Green (AKA Tru Weed) sucks!!!!!!! Don't waste your money.
