SEE ABOVE - in short - anyone who has gone through a basement flooding can relate to what I am going to say - you are overwhelmed - and their are MANY companies in the restoration business - most want to rip you off thinking it is insurance money that will make you whole - Peter was one of three companies I contacted - to digress one large national dealer actually hung up on me when I questioned his process and why I would have to pay him $285 just to ring my door bell to give me a quote. No empathy in this business with the exception of the Tu's Group. We agreed on a schedule time of arrival (on time too). I was quoted a price of $150.00 to perform the clean up with no potential up charges hanging over my head. Peter and his assistant worked 4 long hours and the price was still $150.00. It is now safe and clean in my basement. Please note - Septic backup is different from water damage because of e coli bacteria etc.. He used the industry standard microban and cleaned the area 3 x as well as cleaning the tile with the anti bacterial agents and then power washing it, then suctioned all the extra water. Professional, ethical and wants to establish a long term business relationship. The Tu's Group sells carpeting and does carpet cleaning as well as restoration - Peter Tu is in it for the long haul PLUS has many certifications in his field.

Peter Tu and his assistant cleaned carpets in our house multiple times. They work very hard and use precautions not to scrape corners where the hose rubs. Peter is very particular about his carpet cleaning. This is the best carpet cleaning service I have had in 22 years of home ownership. He also cleans our area rugs and they come back beautifully. I highly recommend his carpet and rug cleaning service.

They were great to work with. They did the whole project in one day. They were very professional. They wore booties in the house and cleaned up well. I was impressed with how hard working and fast the employees were. The carpet looks great!

They did a great job, I was expecting Mr. Tu to come, because he has always come in the past, but he sent somebody else who he had trained. He didn't seem quite as sure though.

Excellent, Mr. Tu came and inspected closely then gave a reasonable estimate. Since there were some bad spots he was honest enough to point out where he could only get it back to 90% condition without replacing it.

The price was extremely reasonable. They charge by the size of the house. Their work is incredible. When they leave you feel like you have new carpet. We usually use them every six months.

It was the best experience I have ever had with a carpet installation.

They are very thorough. They sealed the concrete before doing the work because I had pet stains. They did a great job with that.

The quality of the cleaning was excellent. My only issue was the time it took (estimated at two weeks, then reduced to about 10 days). I thought this was a long time, but it is the first time I've had this type of service, so maybe that's not unusual.

Called Tu's group after receiving a flyer. Very responsive, came and did an estimate the next day. Owner (Peter) and his wife (Ruby) came in person and did a thorough walk-thru in order to do the estimate. Afterwards explained in great detail about their different service levels, warranties. Had carpet samples in car and the different qualities and pros/cons were explained also in great detail. Agreed on price (seemed reasonable but have nothing to compare to) and date. On the appointed day they came at the agreed time and spent the whole day on the job, more than I had expected. This was not just some cheap carpet cleaner they had rented at the local giant, the machines were sophisticated and they brought dryers etc. Carpets looked great after the job, a couple of tough spots were untreatable but to Tu's defense, they tried about 10 different things on the spots, but they got rid of 95% of the spots. After the job was done, Peter explained what to do next and gave good tips on carpet maintenance. The carpet install was a couple of days later and the service was again prompt and impeccable. Very nice job, would definitely use the Tu's group again.
