The Snell service person was great, they came in, answered our questions and were able to get our system working much more effectively.

Provider was prompt, clean, and courteous, checked my A/C system and found it was low on refrigerant, had a small leak and some other minor issues. I turned their report into my home warranty company and had the repairs addressed in short order. Previously the warranty company told me that without proof that was system was failing, they could not send someone out to fix it. $60 well spent as the house was much cooler and my electric bills came back down, once the repairs were completed.

The compnay is top notch in terms of customer service. They were very prompt and curteous (from the initial phone call to the service visit). The tech was personable and honest. . .he told me exactly what the issue was, gave me some options and took care of it all during the visit. I am very satisfied and would recommend them very highly.

The technician was on time, didn't charge for anything unnecessary or made-up. Very professional. Wore shoe covers. Great experience!

I love these guys and seriously cannot recommend them enough. Everything was easy from the scheduling to the arrival of technician. The tech spent a good deal of time checking out my system and even went above and beyond to answer questions about balancing the system for my house. The tech even went into the furnace closest with me and helped me figure out the duct work and the controls for managing the air flow throughout the house. That's the way to impress when you come out to a property for the first time. Could not have gotten more value for the money and I will be starting a regular maintenance plan with them in the near future.

I've now used Snell a few times, most recently for a Big Deal promotion. This is just a fantastic company. They are always available very quickly, even during summer. The technicians are friendly and profession, and take the time to explain in great detail any issues. We had a condensation problem (on the ducts and from the a/c unit itself). The Snell technician made the repair immediately and for a good price. He also told us what settings to adjust to keep the problem from coming back. No problems since then! Very highly recommended. I won't use another company.

Showed up on time and thoroughly checked our A/C and Heating systems. Gave us some tips on making more efficient use of both throughout the house.

They were able to schedule me right away. They had a serviceman in the area early and asked if he could show up right away. I said, "yes." It took him a while to get here, but he was still earlier than the regularly scheduled time. Very helpful maintenance man. Explained things to me to save me minor/simple maintenance and repair costs. I had them check the heating and A/C, so the price was for two tickets. He did a few things to tune them both up, fixed a minor leak for free, and didn't try and up-sell.

Technician arrived on time and was very firendly and professional. He explanined what the problem was and exactly how he would go about fixing it. I am extremely happy with the service Snell provided and won't hesitate to call them again should I have any further maintenance needs.

I had had a service contract with MacCrea for years, but had grown increasingly dissatisfied with their service and decided to try one of Angies Big Deals. When Fred, the Snell technician, arrived, he introduced himself and removed his shoes before entering the house. He asked how the systems were operating and I explained that they'd last had a maintenance check up in the fall, but the upper floor airconditioning wasn't cooling properly. Before he set to work he explained their Service Contracts and gave me a copy to review. He asked to see where both the units were located inside the house and immediately got to work. He discovered low coolant levels in the one unit, and recharged it. Although he checked the system for leaks, he found nothing. He cleaned the outside and inside units and made sure they were working within specs. He advised me if there was a leak in the system, it'd probably stop cooling within a couple weeks, so he said he'd go ahead and schedule a follow-up appointment to run a more thorough check with more sensitive equipment. I could call and cancel if all was well. I reviewed and decided to purchase the service contracts. The house was cool and comfortable for 3 weeks (I'd cancelled the follow-up appt!), but then the night of July 4., the upstairs unit went out again. We called the next day, explained what had happened. They were very nice and said they'd send someone out the next morning to take a look at it. They discovered a blown fuse in the air handler and replaced it. Since we'd purchased the service contracts we got a discount on the service call/labor. All's worked great since then! We're very happy with Snell's professionalism and responsiveness. We've already recommended them to our neighbors!

Very refreshing that technician applied no pressure to get a new system even though existing Trane system is 23 years old. I was also pleasantly surprised that I got a call on Sunday from Snell to make the appointment even though they were closed. The appointment staff was outstanding. Technician was outstanding too and did a very thorough job explaining various recommendations for the future. He even identified a plumbing leak for us that we thought was A/C related. I would recommend Snell to anyone as they definitely delivered on what they advertised. We paid only $79.00 for a a full 20 point inspection and 1 can of refrigerant. An incredible deal. Many A/C contractors in the past have given our system "last rites." Not Snell. They accomplished what we needed in tough financial times - - they left the system in the best workable condition to hopefully continue to run just a little longer for us.

This was my first hire via Angie's List, and I couldn't be more pleased. I originally asked for a minor AC repair, which was performed next day, but the technician noted that the AC was on its last legs (which I knew from previous experience) and also that the old furnace was dangerous to operate due to a crack in the heat exchanger. I signed on for the full replacement job, which was done expediently and at a very reasonable cost.

It went well and I took the contract with them so they're going to be doing my heating and AC on a yearly basis now for me. They came maybe a month after I purchased the deal and they didn't charge me anything other than the value of the deal. The guy was pretty confident, he came in, knew exactly what he needed to do and I felt very comfortable with him.

We contacted Snell because they had installed our 1st zone A/C unit. We scheduled a time for them to arrive. We confirmed their scheduled service time. They did not arrive as scheduled. We then received a call that they would not be able to provide service at the agreed upon time, and they suggested an alternative time, two days hence. We decided to contact another service provider.

The technician arrived and installed our new A/C. He was prompt and did a good job explaining everything that he was doing.

The repairman was patient with all my questions and helped to educate me on how the part worked as well as the potential risks in adjusting vs replacement. He was not the least pushy and allowed me to make an informed decision.

They came out last July upon my scheduled time and the service turned out good. I would recommend them.

We are members for the twice yearly heating and a/c unit check. While on vacation, we discovered our outside A/C unit was no longer working properly. We called on Friday and made an appointment for Saturday the next day. They arrived within the arranged window of time and fixed the problem. We do not have other prices to compare the cost for the repair. We were very happy with the promptness of getting a repairman out to check our problem, especially on a Saturday during July's heatwave.

Our AC died July 14th, the previous company we'd used for our furnace couldn't come out until the middle of the week, Snell was there July 15th. We were obv. hoping it would be an easy, inexpensive fix, but no such luck. We had to wait through the hottest week of the summer (isn't that always when things go wrong?), the earliest they could do the install was the 23rd. There were a few phone calls back and forth about financing, potential for earlier installs, and so forth, Snell employees were consistently professional, friendly, knowledgable and just out and out the kind of people you hope answer the phone whenever you have a problem. There was a slight hiccup the morning of the install, which was taken care of quickly (well, my husband waiting in the 85F house might've wanted it to be faster, but you can't have everything) Since the new system was installed, we noticed water in the basement when there wasn't a cloud in the sky, and so suspected the AC...called Snell after 5PM the Friday before Labor Day and not only did they answer the phone, but we got a service call for the following Tuesday afternoon! Turns out the problem was related to our AC unit, but not the part they'd installed...so, since it's not covered by their warranty, we'd have to pay for the fix and the call, right? Nope, they took care of the problem, put in a thing to hopefully prevent the issue from reoccurring AND called the next day to follow up that everything was good! I cannot recommend them highly enough and wish I could have them fix everything that's wrong with my life.

It was fine. They diagnosed and fixed the problem. They did a fine job. I'm not really sure if they're overpriced. It seemed like it always cost a lot, but they did fix what needed to be fixed. They came within a reasonable amount of time. I am having problem remembering what they fixed but I paid a little bit more than the $40. They weren't bad.

Technician was very thorough with the inspection and provide plenty of details about the installed system. Also they allowed upgrade of coupon to provide needed freon. Overall was a great experience.
