Professional in appearance, friendly and thorough. Called 30 minutes prior to arrival and well within the window of time of service quoted. Yearly contract fee on maintenance is competitive and quality of service has been excellent over the years.

The handyman was polite, professional and friendly. He answered all of my questions on the unit, how I should monitor the unit myself (air filter, etc) and provided guidance on regular future maintenance. He was very helpful in this way.

Purchased a big deal for $69 for our fall heating service call. Snell provided great customer service and follow up during the scheduling process. The technician Justin arrived within the window, was very friendly, worked quickly and took the time to answer my questions. Would definitely recommend Snell and will call them again for future HVAC needs.

I didn't pay anything other than the cost of the deal and their customer service was good. They were very informative in explaining what they were doing instead of coming in ad doing their work without telling me.

Overall, i'm satisfied by Snell save for one service technician, "Fred", who came across as disingenuous. After arriving and diagnosing my AC, he provided a bill of service for some $640. He stated that if I added a service plan for an extra $140, I would get a discount on the parts and labor and Snell would come out another three times over the remaining calendar year. I went with it, bringing the new total to $740 dollars. Fred then stated that I needed a new furnace and he would credit this $740 dollars off the price of a $4300 Bryant furnace bringing the total cost down to $3600. I went with the deal and Fred departed. Upon returning home that evening, it was clear the AC was still not working. Fred came back the next morning and found debris near the coils that was clogging the AC. It turns out that the AC had never even started up after his diagnosis and billing and sale of the furnace from the previous day. Suffice it to say, this shook my confidence in Fred and Snell. A week later, the furnace arrived. The two technicians, Adrian and Moses were top notch. I couldn't be happier by their professionalism and quality of work, restoring my faith in the company. That said, given the sketchiness with Fred the week prior, I'm wondering if the service contract I paid for was even documented or whether that was done off book. Time will tell over the next few months if Snell will honor that contract. Overall, I think this is a case of a really good company with one slimey representative. The installers were beyond awesome and I was very satisfied by the work done save by one individual.

The technician was professional, courteous and knowledgable about both the procedure and the system (Bryant/Carrier). He identified a few items that would help the system operate better and explained a few features with which I was not familiar. The scheduling was okay, although the window was very broad, and communication about the status of the technician's arrival could have been smoother, but everyone was helpful and responsive.

Everything went very well and we are pleased with the new units.

The experience with Snell from start to finish was prodessional and friendly. Every member of their team was intentional about looking after our home and doing the best job. Communication from start to finish of the project was easy and handled promptly. I dont think that we would choose to ise anyone else in the future given our great experience.

System is now working great. I will likely choose to go with this company when it is time to replace the system (soon I suspect). The staff was very friendly. The technician was prompt and seemed to really know how to troubleshoot the problems.

It took about one day for them to come out after calling to schedule. They came out quickly and I was very satisfied with the work. We live in Florida and the house they serviced is in Virginia. With me being out of the location, they worked well with us and the tenants. They were very accommodating to a unique situation.

In general, the installation went very well. We received estimates from a number of companies, but Snell proposed an Amana system that seemed to provide the best value for the money. The team that Snell sent to do the installation was very professional and friendly. They arrived when they said they would and finished in one day. After they completed the installation, we had a few issues with drainage in the exhaust line. It took a few more visits to get the proper installation so that condensate would not collect in the exhaust piping. There was never an issue with getting Snell to return to correct the problem. Since then, the system has worked very well. We have had a number of failures with the humidifier system that Snell installed, but they have quickly fixed it each time under warranty. We also had a issue with the county in getting the installation inspected. It took over a year to get the final inspection. The only issue that I had with Snell concerning the inspection is that I wish that they were more proactive in getting the inspection scheduled. After all, they pulled the permits. It took a lot of effort on my part to resolve this delay. In the end, the system passed inspection without any discrepancies. I continue to use Snell for my annual service calls.

Justin, the technician, seemed to give the system quality attention/servicing. He informed me that everything was working well, but gave a few recommendations on my water heater and heat pump system. He indicated my heat pump could possibly begin to give me problems in the next 2-5 years based on its current age. He also gave me advice on how much I should spend on a unit for my townhome. He provided similar advice for my water heater, but never tried to push any products on me. I asked several questions that he answered promptly and with great information. I would definitely recommend Snell and use them again.

did not go well ... First was extremely late, Then he told me its going to cost 3000 repair I told him just fill it freeon ,,, he did. The ac is just fine now ... so i guess the $3000 cost he initially gave me was just too d*** high

It went well. They replaced the unit quickly and were very respectful of our house. They did place our old unit on our neighbors lawn but as soon as we asked them to move the unit they did. We felt and still do feel a tremendous temperature difference in our house so that is wonderful. However approx one month later we had wet spots show up on the ceilings and walls. When we asked Snell to come take a look the rep wasn't sure what happened and said they would follow up however never did. The spots dried up and have not since returned so we did not call to follow up. We would recommend Snell as they are always responsive, very professional and have a great product.

It went very well and James fixed a long time situation with the gas logos. Now we should be able to generate the heat that we have needed in the lower level.

They were great. They were very knowledgable, clean, and courteous. They were also very prompt on giving a service date to have the work completed. They did not over charge, very reasonable.

No freon needed. Checkup went well. AC guy gave some advice for fixing leaks in ductwork.

They had a whole book of things to choose from ranging from what I paid to $20,000 more. They actually pushed me towards the lower priced one, they said there was not much difference in the next step up which was twice as much. I was very pleased with the service I got from them. They vacuumed and cleaned up a little bit area, the one that previously died there had left some water, salt and stuff like that. They were clean and efficient. My homeowner warranty sent one here that I despised and would never let back in my home again, so I went on Angie's List to take a look and they had good reviews there. I saw an advertisement for them before. I just thought I'd give them a call. It works just fine.

Our home AC had gone out in the summer, and so, in addition to the overall tune-up, we ended up with a motor replacement on the fan/condenser unit. The unit worked fine after that for a year, when we again lost AC -- this time, it turned out, because of old wiring that had burned out. I liked Snell's responsiveness and their professionalism, so I called them again, and again, they fixed the problem on the spot after an accurate diagnosis. Their prices do seem high, honestly, but they have the parts on the truck, and the way they present their prices in a very clearly delineated book, organized quite specifically by the job, made it easier to feel that I was not being taken advantage of (any more than anyone else). In retrospect, I think their initial multi-point inspection probably should have found the problem that caused the outage a year later -- it was old, worn connectors and bent, corroded wiring. So, perhaps, had they looked a year earlier, we might have avoided an outage, if not the cost of the repair, and again, I am dinging them on their pricing. The second repair was for an electrical connection bracket, but the job ended up costing several hundred dollars (maybe that is market pricing in an expensive market). Still, their service professionals were able and quick, and they fixed the problem in excellent time. I feel very confident that my AC system is in much better shape now than it was 12 to 14 months ago.
