The technician who came to assess our hvac situation at our home during last summer was very responsive and courteous. He immediately knew what was wrong and kindly recommended several options for us to consider in order to rectify the situation. He was honest and listened to our concerns and questions, and in the end provided the upmost professionalism and expert recommendations. We chose to have them install a brand new hvac system (condenser and inside stack) in our home, since the old unit was actually thrown together (not matching units). Since it was to take several weeks before they would be able to install the new unit (needing to wait for shipment), they were kind enough to lend a standalone a/c window unit for us at no additional charge. Once the install date arrived, two other technicians came as promised. They removed the old hvac units and installed the new units. The installation took them the better of 6 hours altogether. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure I was 100% satisfied with the installation and workmanship. I also received follow up calls from the company to ensure everything was running smoothly and they even threw in a full year of service (winter, spring tuning) at no additional charge. If you must have your hvac serviced and/or replaced I highly recommend going with Snell.

Communication and overall professionalism were fantastic. Received a call 45 min prior to arrival of technician. Technician was friendly and professional and knowledgeable throughout. Would definitely use these guys again.

He was good, but not thorough. Never did find out why it was a dusty smell in one room of the house. He Took off the vent cover from the ceiling and forgot to put it back on so I tried (my husband was out of town) and the vent fell on me...big bruise for over a week :(

Work was good, but prices were outrageous. The company charged me $668 for an HC39AE206 blower motor that retails for as little as $185 (arnoldservice.com) and $201 to $225 from other suppliers. Snell's price included labor, which took less than one hour.

After consulting with my spouse, I notified technician via email on 2/20 that would purchase heat packet. Was told due to extremely cold weather and busy schedule, should have part by 2/23. As of 2/25, I had not received the part and on 2/26 and 2/27, I called the company to inquire as to the status. The customer service rep on 2/26 told me that the part had been ordered and should be installed before the end of the week. I called again on 2/27 and spoke to a different customer service rep and was told that part had not been ordered and that she would transfer me to the purchasing department, the call was disconnected. I called back and rep disconnected call a second time. I called back and the rep apologized for disconnecting the call twice and I told her to just cancel the order because I was very displeased with the service. I contacted a different company to get my problem resolved.

I guess it worked out fine. I was hoping to salvage it, but it didn't make a physical sense to do it. They did a fine job. I just didn't end up going with them to replace the whole system. I did get a quote from them when they came out. It wasn't functioning very well and I didn't think I would be able to salvage it, but I did that kind of to see if I could the system. I would say they did a good job and they basically diagnosed that it couldn't be fixed. They did fine. I didn't have any big issues with them.

We have had the SNELL folks come out a few times for different issues. Each time, they have come promptly on time and they call to let us know that they are 15 minutes away. Ben has been exceptionally helpful in providing creative solutions to help fix our issues. They are considerate and reasonable in price and I would highly recommend them if you need any HVAC work done.

They came out and told me I needed to purchase a part. I discussed it with my partner and called them back to order the part. They did call and say the part should be in this week. I have not heard anything from them. I have called them twice and been hung up on since.

It worked just fine. We were very happy. We didn't have any trouble using the deal. He didn't charge us more than what it said or anything like that.

Called Snell concerning a leak from our eight year old furnace and they had someone come out the same day - he located and fixed the leak immediately and was extremely professional and helpful. This was an outstanding experience across the board.

This is short and sweet. I sourced about 6 different local HVAC companies and not only was Snell the best price in-town, the folks I interacted with from the receptionist to the installers were fantastic. As for the quality and timeliness of the work, top-notch and on time. I own two properties and I will use Snell exclusively going forward. My only compliant is that I didn't use them for past services/repairs.

I had a different service provider come the day before and told me that I needed a whole new furnace. They told me that it was unsafe to use and put a tag on it telling me that they would be the only ones who would be able to remove it. I wanted a second opinion so I called Snell. They immediately told me about the deal on Angie's List which saved me a lot of money as I had paid triple the amount the day before. They sent a serviceman out who cleaned and tested my furnace telling me that it was fine. It has been running fine ever since. They were on time, thorough, professional and honest.

They are great. They were on time and they did what they said they were going to do. My air conditioner was fixed afterwards.

I have been using their services for about three years. I initially found them on Angie’s List through a deal and they had installed a new HVAC system. I have used them between two of my houses. Scheduling has been very easy. They have been great overall. I will be purchasing a new furnace, air conditioner, and water heater from them soon as well.

Techs were friendly, prompt and efficient. They wore shoe covers, put tarps down to protect the carpet and cleaned up after the work was done. They moved the heat pump and air handler connections for a cleaner, professional look.

It was extremely easy to schedule an appointment and Snell came arrived during the specified time they said they would. Performed a thorough check of my HVAC, answered any and all questions I had, and never once tried to sell me additional services or parts that I did not need. Very happy with their service and will use them again in the future

What stood out was their professionalism. I think it did feel like a hard sell at one point or another, but they were very professional.

Everything went really well. The technician, Ken, was very knowledgeable and informative, arrived on time, and did a great job without making a mess. Furthermore, he probably saved me thousands of dollars by deducing that it was just a minor part that needed to be replaced and not the entire system.

Great. Very professional, very thorough. We will use again when its time to replace the air handling system.

It turned out that the heat pump was turned off. We were not sure how that could have happened. He checked everything and it was fine once it was turned on. I had to replace my laundry room floor which had a concrete base that had to be jackhammered. We think the vibrations from the jackhammer caused the heat pump to shut off. The heat pump was on the outside of the wall of the room where the work was being done. Also, the tech checked out my furnace and recommended cleaning the coils which we did ourselves. Everything seems to be working fine now. I had a $550 electric bill for December because the emergency heat was running for a portion of the month, instead of the heat pump.

Totally professional. I have never had a bad experience with any part of this company-people on the phones and at the house are top notch.
