We bought the service contract for one year ... they came out and cleaned/checked out our AC unit and will return in the Fall to make sure our heater is good to go for the winter. (Fall visit is included in the purchase price of the contract.) The technician spent about an hour at our house and could not have been more professional. Thank you.

They were great. I had recently moved into a new home and had flooding in my basement. Thought I had a plumbing problem, but plumber suggested it was HVAC. I found Snell on Angies list and called and they quickly came out and found the system needed service. They cleaned out the system and showed me what they found and what they would do and how it would improve the functioning of the system. I was very happy with the work and will have them again.

Determined parts needed and repaired broken AC. James M, who diagnosed and fixed the problem, is a professional AC expert. We also signed up for their maintenance contract for the heating system.

The office staff scheduled my appointment around my schedule and they phoned me letting me know the technician was on his way. The technician (Zach) was very professional.

Service agent came out and diagnosed the problem. The line had a hole in it in a place where it could not be reached for repair. He went over our options and we selected to purchase a new sear 14 heat pump. He pumped in some Freon to keep us comfortable until the new heat pump could be installed. The installation was ordered for the following Tuesday. The installers were punctual, polite, neat and completed the job in one day. Our old heat pump was eleven years old and our neighbor down the street had their heat pump replace the previous year. So I suppose it needed to be replaced. I guess the price was right.

I was quite impressed. Vince appeared as agreed. He was polite and quite professional. He provided a quality diagnosis and solution. My unit is 22 years old. His solution worked. While he recommended obvious replacement based on age of the unit, he was, like a doctor, simply calling balls and strikes. Absolutely no pressure or design. I highly recommend this company.

Snell recommended we replace our almost 20 year old ac unit. They gave us an estimate and it was a fair price. However, we were able to find a lower price for a less efficient system and decided to go that route considering we simply did not have enough money to purchase a more efficient but more expensive system.

The office staff and technicians were very friendly and knowledgable. The technician was on time and it took him only 5 mins to figure out what the problem was. This was the second time I have used them and I'm very satisfied with their work. I will definitely call them again if need be.

The technician showed up on time and was professional. I was hoping for some guidance and advise in deciding on the right unit for my home but the technician was quick to say, whatever you would like to install. Even though I appreciate the non-aggressive approach to selling a product, I would've still like to receive information as to why I should get a certain system and how it can help me with my home and utility bills etc. It was a very quick visit, approx 15-20 min, even though when FH Furr and Sears came by, they took their time figuring out the perfect unit for my home and were very organized and very detailed in their inspection and suggestions. The technician did give me a price for a new A/C unit (just the product) but did not provide any information on how installation would be done, what I need to prepared for during installation, how much labor would cost etc.

It turned out okay. They came out and did the check just like they advertised. There were no issues there. They came out the next day after I purchased the big deal. There were additional charges other than the big deal price of $59 as we had to get some work done. They found the problem and had to replace a part. I paid an additional $600. This was the first time I used them. They came out quickly and were able to get the stuff done. If a family member or friend were considering hiring them, I would tell them to go ahead. I don't know if they're the cheapest.

The service was great. They are fine, they installed a system. The people are knowledgeable, clean, they are very respectful about your property and they are good. I have recommended them to others.

I called Snell Heating & Air Conditioning company before I bought their couple for a heating or cooling service call with unlimited diagnostic time from AngiesList. I just wanted to make they does what they say "unlimited diagnostic time". I told the lady on the phone that we already had 3 technicians came to diagnose the A/C unit, they all told us there is a leaking, but none of them can tell us where is the exact leaking area, the last person suggested change a new coil, it will cost over $1000, but no guarantee etc. I told the lady hope their technician can tell us where is the leaking and estimate the cost. I asked her if the couple works in our case, she said absolutely. Now here comes the truth, Snell technician came on time this morning, spent 10 minutes check on A/C, then told my husband there is a leaking on A/C, my husband said to him, we already knew there is a leaking, could you tell me where is leaking part and how to fix and how much to fix it. The technician said, there will be extra $325 to diagnose it and estimate the cost... We were shocked. Does their coupon says "unlimited diagnostic time" ???? I called Snell Heating & Air Conditioning company afterward, the lady told me diagnostic result cost extra money because the technician has to use the tool and spend time there..." I questioned her what does mean "unlimited diagnostic time" in their coupon? She said you are confused .... I questioned her why she did not told me before when I called her yesterday, she just keep saying you are the one confused, if you want to know where is the leaking, you have to pay $325. Cheating, totally a cheating company!!! I think this type of company should not be listed in the Angies List.

Snell was very prompt to contact me and were able to set up an appointment within 3 days time. They called me the day before the scheduled appointment to let me know they had an opening within 30 minutes if I was available, which was very much appreciated. Velimir (the technician) arrived at the appointed time and was very professional. He spent roughly an hour and a half going over everything. He examined the outside unit, the vents on all 3 floors of the house, even the fireplace flu. Everything was explained to me as well as offering some steps I could take to alleviate the problem. He finished by saying that if the steps didn't clear up the problem to contact them and they would be happy to return. No hard sell on unnecessary repairs, prompt and professional service and a super price. What's not to love?

Very well. I was not there at the time, but the vendor called me on the phone and explained the issue in detail and answered all my questions to help me understand the tehcnical mechanics and offered a few solutions .

It went fine. Everything is great. I’ve used them since. The price was fair. They are a big company that has a lot of resources available to them.

Discovered loose wire. But did not repair since I will replacing the unit.
