Everything went very smoothly. The team, headed by Marcellino D. was VERY professional and thorough and thoughtful. No mess, no muss no fuss. The final installation looks beautiful and they were careful to go over all instructions and details with me. I couldn't have asked for a better experience from booking the appointment for the estimate to the final installation itself. This company is great!

The very friendly repairman explained everything to me. He showed me what the problem might be and other safety-threatening aspects of the furnace. He was right and fixed the problem. He even took a trash bag down to the road for me.

We were contacted by company as soon as we purchased the deal. Scheduling was easy, we were given time frame from 10am to 12pm. Technician, James arrived at around 10:30am. He was very pleasant, put on shoe covers to keep our house clean and got immediately to do the business. He was very thorough, checked blowers, filters, cleaned all the drains, placed anti algae tablets, and kept updating us while checking on our two units. I would like to point out on the problem with our cooling/heating of the top floor. For 10 years we were complaining to various technicians that there's no air blowing in two of the bedrooms. No one could fix it, so we used a portable heater in winter and cooling fan in summer. While James was checking, he found the reason of our problem. He was upfront about pricing for fixing the lever. It was a bit pricey for us so my husband decided to temporarily fix it with the tape. Problem was solved! We are impressed by James work ethic, honesty and knowledge of his business. Thanks to him air distribution on the top floor is even. He informed us that both of our units are due to replacement since they are 14 years old and one of them needs to be charged with refrigerant. He pointed out the cost of refrigerant and adviced to replace the unit rather than spending time and money on charging it. He suggested his company's rep to come over and figure out which unit we will need in terms of replacement. We will definitely use SNELL again, and particularly ask for James. Thanks so much!

Arrived on time. All techs were courteous and professional. Finished on time. Used tarps everywhere they walked. Left home like they found it. Explained all work performed.

Called Snell at 10:30 a.m. Loyd was at my door the same day at around 1:30 pm. He was polite professional and efficient. I was unable to print out a coupon but he still was flexible enough to give me the discount. AC fixed and working great. Loyd also gave me tips for improving air flow and venting. Office personnel on both the initial call and a follow up call were polite and helpful. As a plus it wasn't necessary to wade through a phone tree and press buttons; a live polite native English speaker answered the phone.

The technician was very friendly, punctual, and professional. This is the second time we've used this company and have been very happy thus far.

Ben was punctual and professional in his assessment of all options concerning a unit that was end of life. When we opted for a new unit he set appointment and provided all necessary information regarding warranty and service requirements. He included the cost of refrigerant and service needed today in the cost of the new unit.

Service was done as expected. No complaints so far. We plan to purchase the annual service again. I wish they would provide a discount for a second unit but they do not.

AC was noisy, not moving air at all in house. Angie's List had deal for Snell for $59 service diagnostic call, which I used. Snell advertises they work 7 days a week, came out the next day (on the weekend), HVAC tech nice enough, good so far. After tech arrived we turned on AC, and now it was working. It is an old system in an old house, I don't know age of system. Tech said it would be difficult to replace fan motor, part would be hard to find for an old system, and I should replace everything for between $7,000 to $14,000. Snell would send an estimator to my house for exact price. He suggested we could replace the capacitor, which wears out, and I might get more use from the motor. Labor was included in service call, price for part (which he had in his truck) $194 (Jard 12929 which retails on Amazon for $11.30 with free shipping). Outrageous markup. After HVAC tech left, I removed blower motor from HVAC. Easy removal, took few minutes. I see two ports to add lubricating oil, which I pry open and I add oil to, reassemble system and it starts up and has been running smoothly since. 45 minutes total and I know nothing about HVAC, but I do technical job. So my system needed to be oiled (which previous owner didn't inform me about), and I am told by Snell my system needs to be replaced. OK, it's old, so I will eventually need to replace it. $194 for a part that retails for $11.30? (fee was for part only, not part + diagnosis+ installation) You tube, google and amazon make it easy to check on what you are getting. Very disappointed.

All went well and will use them again.

When our AC went out, I called four companies and requested service calls as soon as possible. Snell was the first to respond with an available technician. Technician Ben was professional and friendly, and was able to diagnose and complete the repair in about an hour. He also reviewed some possibilities for future upgrades when the time comes.

First of all I want to mention the people (I spoke to 2 different men when I called) you speak to when you call in with a problem. They are probably the most professional people I have ever spoken to. They listened carefully to my problem, told me what it might be and told me when they could have someone to my house. On the day that service was scheduled between 9 -1, I called at noon to see where they were. They were to call my office so I could come home to meet them and I had not heard from them. When I called, the person I spoke to (see above) said that they had tried to reach me earlier but that there was no answer. When we compared numbers, he apologized and said they had the wrong number, but that they could still come later that day. There was no blaming me for giving the wrong number, no excuses, simply an explanation of confusion and effort to make it work. Perfect. Mike W. met me at my house later that afternoon and fixed the problem for the time being. He was very polite, and professional and took time to explain what was going on with my system. I also bought a service contract from Snell and look forward to working with them in the future.

I could not recommend Snell Heating and Air Conditioning enough. They were great. My AC went out on a Saturday afternoon during the 90 degree days we had in June. I got on Angie's List and called Snell based on their reviews and I wasn't disappointed. They were very professional and said that they wouldn't be about to have someone out that day but would try to have someone their the next day, Sunday. At 8am the next day the technician was there and fixed the issue quickly. Again I can not recommend Snell enough and will definitely use them again.

Very thorough and pointed out issues with the unit to keep in mind for the coming year or two, replacement options. Not pushy. It made sense based on what he was showing us.

The check went very well. The service technician was on-time and very informative. He was able to very accurately diagnose a problem with a system component (which was under warranty) allowing me to contact the installer and get the required work immediately completed.

Snell is great and we will continue to use them. In addition to diagnosing us with a unit too large for the house, he went out of his way to clean out our drip tray and make sure that until we replace it, our current system is in the best possible condition. We have had nothing but good experiences - their people are professional, friendly, honest, and thorough.

System wasn't cooling properly. I bought the service call deal for $59 and they offered a fix to replace a part and add Freon ($259) but suggested I consider a new unit because my existing unit was ~ 10 years old. The technician did say if I picked the "fix", I would most likely be calling them again for another service call the following year. I didn't really get the impression that I was being taken advantage of so I authorized the new unit.
