From the diagnostic appointment to the installation of our new heating and cooling system, Snell was professional, polite, and clean. The original diagnostic appointment was low pressure, and the Snell professional walked us through all the options, without being pushy about selling us a new unit. When our heater broke several new fuses (he originally thought it might be running on emergency heat because of a broken fuse), he did not charge us for any of them,. After we decided to purchase a new system, the Snell representative was very helpful, recommending a unit appropriate for our house. We were able to schedule an appointment within a few days and the installation team arrived on time (early, actually, which we preferred). They spent all day at our house and were very polite, laying plastic cloths to keep the house clean as they worked. They cleaned up everything perfectly and left us with a system that not only saves us money each month in electric costs, but also keeps the house warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.

Checked out my AC and encouraged me to change from electric filter to Box filter. WAs on time and resolved issue quickly

The service went well from calling the office to make an appointment all the way through to the end of the actual service appointment. Customer service was outstanding.

It was alright. They found a leak and it went from a $95 bill to $700 plus. They recommended a new A/C and they did Freon. I would have like a little more detail on the invoice. I tried to call back but they did not answer my calls. I was upset he did not put on the invoice the amount of Freon used.

I found Snell Heat/A&C via Angie's List. Which was very well rated. I had been frustrated with other companys so I decided to give them a try. As of this writing I am very happy with them. When I first called they took my credit card number and then helped me schedule my first appointment. The Technician was Ben. 5 Stars, he was very polite, patient with my questions. Always covered his boots when came into the house. My system is more than 20 years old but thankfully he did not make it his mission in life to sell me a new system. He pointed out a few things and explained a few things and that was it. Thank God he was not a used car salesman. After my spring check Snell called me in September to schedule my next check, the fall winter check up. I was very surprised because I had been saying to myself I need to call Snell. Ben was my technician for the second check up. Friendly and updated me on the system, he did his checks but was also communicative on what he was doing. I have never given across the board "A"s but I am very impressed with the Snell team. The ladys who work the phone/scheduling issues, the service support group Andy and the technician himself Ben. I will stay with Snell as they long they realize their people are their strongest asset and it all works because of them. 5 STARS, (or As) for Snell. And a big thank you to Angie's List

As an Engineer I am most often a pain to a contractor and cannot say enough good things about Snell. In 2014 Snell Heating & Air Conditioning installed a very high-efficiency Lennox HVAC system in our home with a personable crew that performed 110% with care, knowledge, skill, communication and timeliness at a pace that was perfect and not rushed like so many others. There are always a few bumps in the road that were handled immediately with ZERO hassles. Even the follow-up Spring and pre-Winter system checks, performed by Tech Vince, were done with all the same attributes as the installers. Would I do it again and recommend Snell ? Absolutely ? They were good. I never had to call them back. Everything was fine. I didn't have to go back to them because with the normal deal, it would be expensive. I went with somebody else. There were no extra charges. The rates were high so I didn't go back to them. They came and did the job well.

Everything went well. The serviceman told me what I thought I would hear -- that we probably should eventually replace our system, but he can top off the refrigerant for now. Since we didn't find a specific leak, they were unable to guarantee the work since they were unable to fully diagnose the problem. And I completely understand that. All in all, they did fix the problem and chances are that we're good for another few years. He did add that, if there is a leak, it's likely a very small one due to the nature of some of the symptoms of our unit.

Tech arrived on time, clean and presentable. Very knowledge-able. He gave me lots of good tips for managing my HVAC environment, especially the electronic air cleaner. I liked them so much I signed up for their maintenance program! He also fixed the blown capacitor in my HVAC unit that I had caused by my incorrectly installing a smart thermostat. I will DEFINITELY call them again.

He broke our system, and because of him we had to get new one. We have an older HVAC system that has both gas and liquid in it ? he poured the wrong thing in. It cost us $7,000 to get the new one with another company. Then he wouldn?t cover the cost of the damage, saying it wasn?t his fault, and we had 9 other companies come out, and they all said his approach was what broke it.

Came to inspect A/C Unit. The tech was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Great experience.

Snell was awesome. I will start with that. We had David Snell come out and give us an estimate and not rush us and talk to us about what a mini split heat pump does, he recommended a size for the room and really talked nuts and bolts with me. Snell has 2 year labor warranty compared to everyone else I had do an estimate for, everyone else had 1 year. We really wanted to get the unit installed in summer but we had to put it off to get some new carpet in. I told David about this and he had no problem working and keeping the estimate price if we did it before the end of the year. David answered all my email questions via email and even phone calls, and I had a lot of them. The day of the install John and his team member came out on time and did an awesome job. They worked VERY hard to drill through the brick wall to put the lineset through and cleaned up very well afterwards. It was my fault for not moving my kid's toys as I did not know it would put that much brick dust up in the air. John and this team member installed it as if they were working on their own house. Did a great job and while I wish the cover of the lineset was thinner, that is not really a deal breaker. Great company and great prices. They will be the first I call when I need to get my 22 year old HVAC system replaced or serviced. They were not the cheapest with the estimates, but they were not the most expensive. I rather spend a little bit more to get 1 year more of labor warranty and great service. Great job guys!

It was fine. We had a smell in the house and we thought it was in the furnace but come to find out it was in the crawl space. I have neither good or bad comments for them.

The technician greeted me friendly and asked for details about the problem. He proceeded to test the cooling system with appropriate tools and came up with the diagnostic. The technician did not pressure me to have the work performed by his company but advised me what to watch when I get quotes. I was really impressed with the level of details I was given and with the level of professionalism. As a result I asked them if they offer maintenance for heating and cooling systems and became a customer.

There was one problem that they did charge more to fix. They didn't count that as part of their mobile service. It was a good experience.

The guy was nice and respectful of my home. He showed up on time, however, I had been called to say he would come early. Since I was at home all day it did not matter. He came up with the same diagnosis as the other company. His quote was almost $3,000 more for the same type unit. I did not like that he sat down on my steps, like he was an old friend, to discuss my HVAC problems. But mostly I did not use this company because of the escalated price.

Can't say enough good things about the guys at Snell. Hard to part with the cash to replace our entire system but it had to be done. Both were 20 years old so no issues with their assessment after our AC died. Honest, patient, timely and professional. Highly recommend.

Initial diagnostic check did not reveal the problem. However, several months later when our a/c would not blow cold air we were so impressed with the technician's professionalism and effort that we used them again. They performed multiple tests saving us several hundreds to diagnose the problem that we were leaking Freon. Although we weren't planning to replace the unit it had to be done and Snell worked hard to make sure the job was done right. We use them exclusively for our HVAC needs and highly recommend them.

The visit went well and the tech was very friendly. He found that my coolant was low--which I expected and he was able to fill it on the spot. He suggested it was time to upgrade my AC/furnace (which I also expected because my unit was 20 years old.) They put together a very competitive proposal and were very professional. I ended up going with another company because they offered 0% financing. Nevertheless, I was very pleased with Snells offer and performance.

Overall, good service. I expected the technician to provided more details about the condition of my heat pump; Freon levels, did he clean the coils, air pressure of the unit, but he did not. Also, the technician did not provide a clean air filter, he asked if I had a new filter and installed the one I provided. I did expect the system check to include an air filter but apparently it did not. The company followed up with a service contract, frig magnet with the date marked for my next service call, and copy of the units serial numbers, make, and model information, all were mailed to me the day after.

Velimir arrived right on time - actually earlier after we were called to see if we were available for an earlier time. He was neatly dressed in the company uniform, put shoe coverings on and went to work. He really gave our system a good check and answered every question and concern we had about our system. He discussed maintenance we could do to keep our system in good working order - we learned several things we had not know before. We will request him again for all future service.

Great service overall and will definitely be using them this Nov as part of my prepaid maintenance plan.

Great. The service technician was very polite, knowledgeable and helpful. He also changed my air filters, which my husband and I had forgotten to do for a while.

AC was blowing warm air - Snell came out very quickly and checked the outdoor compressor/blower and identified the issue as the compressor unit not working correctly. The part was quickly replaced and has worked great since. Snell also did a general service inspection while there, made sure to apply the Angie's list coupon to the final total and I believe gave me a new customer discount for signing up for a service contract. Technician was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Overall very pleased with Snell - cost of around $345 included the annual service contract so pretty reasonable overall.
