Well please with the Technician. I have scheduled Snell Heating and Air Condition to service my "Air Conditioner" in early spring 2016. The Technician was very professional and knowledgeable. He discussed with me the benefits club members have with a yearly service contract for both furnace and air conditioner. I appreciated his advice; he left the decision to purchase a contract for me to consider--no hard sell. Both my husband and I were well pleased with the Technician and the service he rendered.

Overall the job went well with one exception. The furnace condensate drain was ported to the drain line for our washing machine. Otherwise a normal practice as I understand, however, they did not install a back flow stop or other preventer in the line; the first time we ran the washing machine after the installation water backed up into the overflow pan for the furnace (lowest point in the system, rather than out to the washing machine drain. One call to Snell and they were able to alleviate the problem by capping the washing machine drain line and installing an auxiliary pump for the furnace condensate line. This solution was initially discussed by the service manager when Snell came to look at our original desire to have a new furnace, but, I believe, was not communicated to the install crew. Therefore, my rating of "B" for quality. Since then, the drain, as well as the furnace, has worked well and we are pleased with the new furnace and the work that has been done. We have subsequently had a six-month inspection, per our original agreement/contract, and things appear to be working well.

Technician arrived on time, was professional, and performed a thorough inspection. He was able to find some serious issues that we now know how to address. Previous inspectors did not look carefully enough to find these issues.

Everything went all right with them. I wasn't sure if I needed that much freon or not and wasn't happy about having to pay extra for it. My air conditioner had always worked fine, so I was a little concerned about that. To get a better overall grade from me they could have performed the work that I had asked them to do.

This went wonderfully. The technician arrived right on schedule and was everything you could want as a service provider. High professional, appearance, courtesy, and skill. He arrived, listened to my description to the problem and set about finding the answer.

Took a lot more time than other HVAC vendors. Really tried to make sure everything was working well. Even did a carbon monoxide test throughout the house. Very well done. I had them back to install an Aprilairre (sp?).

On-time -- name of technician provided in advance -- thorough and left no mess.

Furnace was making loud vibrating noise, identified the problem and resolved the issue.

I called them on a cold Sunday morning because my furnace had gone out. I called a few companies including Snell because it was the weekend and I needed whoever could come out first to come and fix my problem. After the initial contact I was expecting a call a little prior to the arrival of the technician but the technician just showed up at my door while another company was currently working the problem. I wish I had Snell do the job instead because the guy from M* and Sons was rather cocky and didn't do the job right (i think intentionally) which required yet another service call the following week from yet another company. I used Snell in the past and the experience was very good.

Performed checks as asked. Very friendly.

The only thing I didn?t like is they told the condo tenant the unit was old, and the tenant wanted a new one. However, they did a very good job, were very clean, and spent a lot of time making sure it was right. Also, the people in the office are exceptionally nice and professional

Everything went smoothly. The tech arrived on time, was knowledgeable, and completed the work without issue.

They charged us extra for the cleaning of the drain. The service technician kept on saying, let me talk to your husband because, you wouldn't understand. He talked down to her and didn't realize that my wife is an engineer. She wasn't particularly happy during that event. We would never have them back. Even if my wife wasn't an engineer, talking to her in that manner was totally unacceptable. They need to treat people as you want to be treated. I'd rather not have anything to do with them again.

Very well done. Showed what was right and what was wrong with my furnace and was able to extend my 14-y/o system for one more year. Polite and informative.

Repairman was very intelligent and gave advice as he worked

Really great. Loyd and Carl were friendly and knowledgeable, and really took their time to explain to me how the system works (we moved in August and never had a gas furnace before). They were on time and did a very thorough job.

They were quick to contact me to make an appointment. Technician showed-up on time and was professional and informative.

On Friday night we realized our ac was not working. My husband tried to reach our regular service man but all three numbers had full mail boxes and we couldn't reach them. I checked on Angie's List and called Snell that night. Someone called me back that night and said the office would call on Saturday which they did. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and sent Italo out later that morning. The float switch had tripped when the pan filled with water and wouldn't allow the heat/ac to turn on. He explained the problem and showed us the trash in the pipe. We agreed that he should put a new safety trap on with a clear section so we can clean it when we see it getting filled with trash. We were pleased with the time he took and the effort he made to show us how to deal with it. We are planning to use Snell for our future hvac needs and glad we found them on Angie's List. We did use a coupon from Angie's List which helped with the cost.

Excellent service, at a fair price. We're adding them as our regular provider. Went with them after a positive experience with them on other service calls.

The serviceman was professional, looked at my system and told me that Snell does not service oil heat/air conditioner systems, so no work was done. He stated that no work could not be done by Snell. My special, "Big Deal" rate that was paid for in advance was refunded within a few days. Thanks to the customer service representative at Snell, the refund went smoothly. I would recommend Snell for other than oil heat/ air conditioner systems.

Mr. Snell personally came to discuss options and costs. What I appreciated the most was he did not try to upsell any products. He was very honest. His team was available for installation with an expected time frame. They stayed and completed the job which took 12 hours and cleaned up before leaving. I would highly recommend them.

Prompt, efficient, courteous service. We're pleased enough to consider Snell for a replacement unit.
