Great. Snell came on time, performed work, provided me documentation of work, and did not try to sell any other services. I will use them again.

Very well, rapidly responded to our call.

Called at 7 am and technician came out by noon. Diagnosed problem as coolant leak. Recharged system and provided lots of information on what he was doing and gave us a plan to update our system. As before, service provided quickly and extremely competently and at what appeared to be reasonable cost. Would recommend to others!!

Outstanding. Brad came out to our house promptly and provided a detailed and very reasonable quote for the new system. A couple days after we accepted, Snell sent out an excellent team of technicians who did a superb job of installing the new system and answering all our questions. We've used Snell for our heating and cooling needs in the past, and we will continue to call on them. We highly recommend Snell.

Bought Angie's List deal for an AC tune up in our new house. Asked for an estimate to replace the system occur at the tome of service since it was an old system. Van, the service Tech was outstanding. Friendly, professional, and efficient. He completed the tune up and gave us a rough price range to replace our system. There are a number of problems with the system and we'll be calling Snell when it's time to schedule the replacement.

The technician found a blown coil and quickly repaired the unit. He verified the compressor was working properly before leaving. Fast and effective.

This company blew me off entirely. I scheduled an appointment with them for early Saturday around 9:30am and was informed a tech would be on its way before noon. My a/c unit stopped working and i desperately need it repaired, so I waited and at 1pm, not receiving any word from the tech or the company, I decided to call for an update. They then informed me I was next in line and that the tech was only 20min away. I told them I have been waiting all day and was told i would receive early service but I need to get going at 4pm. The servicer said Snell would call me when the tech is on its way. Come 4pm i receive a call from Snell asking me to reschedule for the next day. I feel totally disrespected. I guess my business means nothing to them. I'm in dire straights so i will probably use them for the job but I highly doubt they will ever get my business again. This whole situation really makes me believe that the companies high ratings are fake.

Loyd has always been very personable as well to keep me informed of any replacement parts that is need and additional recommendations to keep my home cool during the heat of the summer.

Excellent experience. AC unit went out on a 100 degree Saturday. Called their office that morning and they were at my house a few hours later. Work was completed in 40 minutes and we couldn't be more pleased with the technician and the results. Would definitely use them again.

Replaced faulty part and the system is working fine now

Lousy. Other reviewers commented they are overpriced and they are absolutely correct! They also didn't diagnose the correct issue. They wanted to replace the blower motor and charge me $1584 for it. Other companies would have charged $800-900 had that been the issue. That wasn't even the issue. So had I not sought a second opinion I would have paid a lot of money for the wrong fix. The tech was polite and respectful however he didn't explain what he was doing and I therefore had no understanding of what was going on. Also, he put the breaker for the outside unit in backwards, which prevented that part of the system from running. I don't know if he did this intentionally or not but he didn't tell me if he did do it intentionally and I find that unacceptable. (He had recommended not running the system).

Snell diagnosed the A/C problem and charged us over $750 for a service visit that included a replacement capacitor (no service guarantee) and additional Freon for the existing A/C system. (This was a 2 step approach by Snell; first the capacitor was replaced in 5 minutes, and then after that, step 2 from Snell was - now you need $400 worth of some unknown amount of Freon for the existing system to cool until you get the replacement system) Snell told me that the $750 could be applied towards the purchase of a new A/C system from Snell. However, I received a competitive bid that was $1100 less that the Snell A/C Replacement quote. I was aware that I needed a replacement system and I felt that I was gouged on the pricing for the service visit (extremely high prices compared to other providers when I checked after the visit) so that I had to purchase the replacement from Snell. I will not use Snell to replace the A/C system. I give them an F because of their predatory pricing approach.

I want to praise the high quality and responsiveness of Mike Wilson the service technician. When the part that was required to do the job was not available, we were told that we would have to wait 3-5 business days to get it. With temperatures approaching the 90' and high humidity, we could not afford to wait that long. On his own, Mike called suppliers to find the part and drove to pick it up himself, extending his work day until 7:30 pm to complete the job. We will be forever grateful for his "going the extra mile." Snell is fortunate to have so responsive an employee who thinks first of the needs of the customer.

Good. Office gave me a time window and then called me just prior to visit. Tech was nice, informative, and clean. He continued to work through pouring rain hunched under umbrella. Replaced bad capacitor and cleaned AC unit. Works fine now.

I purchased a coupon for unlimited troubleshooting for $59.00 and was able to get an appointment the same day. The technician was able to spot the problem quickly (capacitor not working). HOWEVER, when I asked about how much that would cost, it was way more than I would have expected ($312.00). I asked for a breakdown of the price in terms of labor and capacitor but the company would not provide that. I found another company who did the job for us for only $100.00 and was open with us regarding the details (parts/labor). Snell bundles up alot of things into their price, and the consumer does not have the option to refuse the additional items included into the cost of the repair. No consumer wants to be taken advantage of. If we feel we cannot trust a business, it is unlikely we will use their services again.

Great experience. They took the time to carefully troubleshoot an intermittent problem that appeared to be one issue at first, but turned out to be something much simpler.

As always, Snell was extremely response and sent a technician quickly to troubleshoot the problem. I truly enjoyed working with the technician, Italo Sasso. He was extremely professional, very knowledgeable and persistent. The problem was not readily evident, but he worked until late into the evening until he was able to isolate the problem to a faulty disconnect box. He quickly replaced the faulty component and the unit seems to be running fine.

Tested and cleaned, seemed thorough, everything checked out, no additional work needed.

Well, I'm very happy with the service done. Technician, Italo, walked me through what happened with my unit and explained to me briefly what have to be done and its prices. He also gave me different options to select. Therefore, I'm happy with service and in particular with the technician on site.

Velimir was very professional and his diagnostic abilities were superb. He found the defective part (even had a spare in his truck) and the fix was immediate not to mention the thousands of dollars he saved us from having to replace the system. Was so impressed, I signed up for the yearly maintenance contract. Hope to see him again for future maintenance.

Excellent. Call late in the day and made an appointment for the next day. They said that the technician would arrive between 9:00 a.m. and noon. They called at 11:12 a.m. to say that the tech was on the way, and he arrived at 11:35 a.m. By 12:10 p.m. he had figured out the problem, and by 12:30 p.m. we had cool air flowing. The technician was prompt, friendly, competent, and quick. We also got $40 discount using the Angie's List coupon. Would definitely use them again.

I've used them for years and years. They come every year and service my unit in spring and fall. I find them very good. I have a maintenance agreement with them. They get all the stuff done I need to get done.

There are no reasons to not think that they were doing a good job.

A mutual friend recommended John with Snell to me for HVAC services. I called and left a message on his work cell phone on June 22nd, then again on June 28th and have not received a return call.

I've used Snell a couple times. We thought we had a leak from an AC unit, they checked it out for us, but that turned out to not be the source of our problem. A year later, we found ourselves without heat in the winter. A technician came out right away to fix it. While he was at our house, he received terrible news and was obviously distressed. I told him to go home and we could get the heat fixed later, but he refused to leave until we had heat because he didn't want us to freeze. I was blown away by this. It would have been perfectly acceptable, under the circumstances, for him to leave. Later I received a call from Snell to apologize for the disruption, and again, I couldn't believe they were calling me to apologize, there was nothing to apologize for. It was a terrible situation and he still finished the job. I've been so impressed with their customer service that we've also signed up for membership in their maintenance club.
