Description of Work: We first became acquainted with Snell through a big deal for annual inspections. We were delighted with the service -- clean, polite, punctual -- professional on all levels. So, when it came time to get a new furnace and A/C system they were a natural choice. I had had some estimates in the past couple of years from several different companies to use as comparison. The system is operating beautifully and we are very glad we made the purchase.

Description of Work: Performed simple check-up. Gave me good advice (that didn't involve spending more money with them). Didn't seem to be interested in selling me more service.

Description of Work: Due to unforeseen circumstances, I did not get to use the coupon. This was not the fault of Snell but my own. But I gave them a B for the value of the offer.

Description of Work: Worst service I have ever received. The tech they sent did not even know how to replace my filter As a matter of fact, he pushed it up into the furnace and one of the other techs had to come another day to get it out. Paid for a heating check and the tech wasn't in my house 10 minutes and he said he was done. Will never use them again. If they want to keep up their ratings, they need to make sure they know who they are hiring and how much they really know about troubleshooting. My overall opinion was that they hired the cheapest help they could and it didn't matter what they know. Very, very unhappy with them.

Description of Work: They installed a new furnace. Did a great job. Had someone come out first to inspect old furnace and he showed us in detail how awful it was. Mold everywhere. I am very happy with the quality of the furnace and their install. We even had a free cleaning.

Description of Work: Had signed up for the anglieslist deal but when Snell came actually signed up for a service package so the amount we had already paid was just applied to that. The heating and ac was serviced. The humidifier was working so that was fixed.

Description of Work: Replaced air conditioner. Performing well. However, toilet in pool room was used and was left running. This resulted in depleting the water in our well and an increase in our electric bill of $500 because pump ran 24/7

Description of Work: Great guy. Did a thorough job of cleaning the outside compressor unit. Found a dead little mouse no less. I was very happy with the way he did the work.

Description of Work: Cleaned furnace and gas fireplace (for additional cost). The gas fireplace needed a leak repaired but tech siad that would be an additional $512. I used another company that was only $250.

Description of Work: Service done on time and of quality. However, cost was little pricy. I do thank Snell and their technician for coming out on a Saturday on time and complete the job thoroughly.

Description of Work: Snelling Heating and AC resolved our emergency AC problem quickly and professionally. During the hot summer months, our AC stopped working, unexpectedly. This happened over a weekend, late in the day. Trying to locate someone at the last minute was challenging. We attempted to go through our warranty provider (Home Shield) without much success. At home, we have an 18-month old child, along with a 12 and 14 year old, so resolving this issue was a priority. After several phone calls to local companies proved fruitless, I went online and joined Angie's list for help. Snelling Heating and AC was rated very highly. I contacted them on a Sunday and they came out a couple of days later. My wife said the technician was friendly and professional and expertly identified the issue and corrected it within an hour. This was to our -- relief -- outstanding! Additionally, after experiencing a minor payment issue, the Snelling customer service rep (and her supervisor) worked with Home Shield to resolve this issue as well. We are (were) extremely pleased with our experience with Snelling and enthusiastically recommend them.

Description of Work: We got the $69 service plan for AC and furnace. They came out said AC was leaking Freon by the coils, asked for estimate to replace AC unit or just the coils. Took 8 weeks just to get estimate and price was lot higher than other companies. However, I asked Snell’s technician if the furnace was fine and he said yes. I had AC replaced by another company. We had Snell come out for annual maintenance and were told furnace needed to be replaced, coils were rusting out. Rust didn’t just appear so why wasn’t this mentioned before. Keeping in mind I had asked this before I replace AC so if needed I could get both and be finished. If I had done them both at the same time I could‘ve gotten a $1200.00 rebate. I wouldn’t recommend Snell. There are way too many other companies out there who do this kind of work better!

Description of Work: Technician did a 21 point check. He explained what he was doing and took time to discuss the results. At all times was courteous and responsive to my questions.
