They’re visits are always easy. They know the units and are very thorough. They explain everything and give me a lot of options including DIY options of what we can do and give me the prices up front. Their technicians are very knowledgeable and I’m comfortable having them in my home. They seem to be family-oriented guys and are very personable. In the past, we had a concern with our upstairs cooling and they sent someone out to check out the duct work and figured out what the issue was and that had a good outcome. I recommend their services to others on a regular basis.

They did a good job. It was very simple installation as everything was already in place. It’s been running smoothly since and I would recommend their service to others.

Small leak of coolant in heat pump. Simple adjustment needed to fix it. Everything was explained in detail. Very prompt and friendly service.

It was a Big Deal. It went well. They came on time and everything was fine. I did not have any problem with them.

He was great. He informed us what we should be expecting in a couple of years. He informed us that there was a pinhole size leak. He diagnosed a lot of stuff. He didn't really fix the main problem but he did take a look at it and did the maintenance. He said that maybe in a couple years, we might need a furnace replacement. I actually plan on keeping them for the annual maintenance.

It went well. They were very professional and very upfront. I would use them again and recommend them.

Snell arrived on time on the date the estimate was scheduled. The representative appeared rather disinterested as I showed him where the current equipment was installed, but I assumed he collected the required information to deliver a quote. 2 weeks later, we had not received a quote or had any other contact from Snell, so we followed up with a call and were lead to believe they had gotten my e-mail wrong. We provided the correct address and were told we'd have the quote the next day. A month an a half later, we still haven't heard a peep from Snell. Other quotes for this work have come in around $10k so, this is not an inconsequential job. A customer having to chase to get an estimate for the work does not bode well for responsiveness after contracts get signed. I would not use or recommend Snell based on this experience.

The technician was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and gave me options to resolve the leak. He showed me where the leak was and will get back with me with a quote to repair. In the meantime he recharged the freon at my request. I received a price discount because I have a service agreement for semi-annual service. The leak was not a surprise as I had a low freon situation last year.

I should not have let They came out and tried to upsell me on a service plan. When i told them i was not interested in doing that, he kept going on and on about how much it was going to cost me. They did do the check on the check, but they punched holes on the outside main pipe that goes into my home to check for the temperature. I should not have let them do that because it caused air to escape before going into the home.

I cannot remember all the details however what I do remember is that the serviceman arrived on time; even calling me about 20 minutes before he got to my house because I had made that requested when initially called. I don't know if it was because of the man's demeanor or because I knew that Snell had a high rating, but I remember that I immediately knew that the man was not there to try and trick me into making more money for his company by up selling. He found the problem, showed it to me, we discussed my options including what each would cost, he gave me his opinion, and then waited patiently while I sorted through everything he had told me. In the end I knew that I was getting a good "buy" for my money; especially given the knowledge that the serviceman had about the unit and all the whys I could possibly think of at the time. They are now going to be my Go-To HVAC purchase and repair company if I ever need one.

Two service representatives, Adrian and Moses, arrived promptly about 9 a.m. They were joined by Greg and Adam to help assist with the Air Conditioner removal. We had a dinner engagement last evening and asked that the work be completed by 6 p.m., thus Greg and Adam came to help out. The work was done quickly and professionally and we were very pleased with the result. They finished checking out the system by 5:55 p.m. Adrian and Moses were outstanding in their knowledge and professionalism and my husband and I were extremely pleased. We would definitely use them again.

I have used this company for two years to maintain my HVAC system. They used to be good, but are slipping. Unfortunately, they were not able to correctly diagnose a problem with my air conditioner and sent me down a wrong path. It costed me a lot of unnecessary effort. They also provided me a high quote ("go away price") for the repairs, even though I was considered to be a "club" customer. Another company was able to quickly diagnose the problem and fix it at a much lower price. Overall not happy with Snell. They may be getting a lot of good business,but I am afraid they are starting to not pay attention to the basics. Will not use them again.

They teck arrived on time, very polite, and finished in a timley manner. Very satisfied.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was pretty good. They came out within 48 hours of my call. They were excellent.

Went Great. quick service and great repair man. Service was done right and efficiently. I believe the pricing could be a bit better, but it is Northern VA , so we always pay more!

It worked out really well. We ended up signing a maintenance contract with them. They seem honest and they knew what they were talking about.

I had purchased a Big Deal $69 for a 21-Point Furnace Tune Up. They came out and found a much bigger problem so I couldn't use the coupon for a tune-up but they used the coupon for the service call and said we could call it even. I thought that was nice and was fine with that since he couldn't do the tune-up. They were really nice and would use again in the future.

I had purchased Big Deal earlier this year and even though they couldn't perform service that I had purchased and not due to their fault I really liked them and decided to call them back for this issue. My a/c wasn't cooling properly and they came out and made the proper repairs. They were very helpful and professional. I was pleased with their services.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were just okay. I went to Home Depot and got a wire brush and cleaned it myself and that solved the problem. They cleaned it somewhat and they gave me the idea that it needed to be cleaned so that had actually prompted me to address the issue myself. They came out but they have never completed the check yet. I have within the year to schedule that but I haven't scheduled that. He had some good recommendations and he told me exactly what the issues were. He wasn't prompt, he was kind of late but he was very efficient when he was there and he was nice. Given that I could clean it myself with the purchase of a wire brush, I'd say their quote was pretty high. I'll probably not use them again.

Our AC had stopped working twice in as many weeks, and we were frustrated with the service provided by our home warranty company, so we called Snell. The technician came as promised and while he couldn't diagnose our problem during the first visit because we had shut the AC off to conserve energy, he returned the following day and fixed the immediate problem. Overall, we were berry pleased with the service, as the technician was courteous, prompt, and careful (even wearing those booties that everyone talks about!). We signed up for a maintenance contract with them, so will update this review after they return for those visits.
