I have a very old house in Herndon, they were very fast and especially clean. And A pleasure to deal with.

We paid $130 for scaffolding around the siding to protect it from the weather before the insurance came out and some gutter work. They were very professional and very prompt. When they said they were going to be there, they were there. Normally, it is more than one person, so the jobs are done quickly. The time we had them paint using the spray, they moved all the furniture and covered all up. They made sure everything was clean. They did a really good job. When we called, it was pretty quick that they came out. We had to schedule them for the painting, which we understand. It took them one day to paint our downstairs. The price was comparable because we looked around before we got them. We didn't have any problem with the insurance when they came out. Everything was good to go. The painting job, we couldn't have asked for better.

Once the weather cooperated they started the job promptly and finished it on the 3rd day. The owner Shawn Daniels was on the job site for much of this time. Both the carpentry work and the painting look great and I'm very satisfied. The pricing was very fair. All workers were employees and not subcontractors day laborers and spoke English fluently. Owner responder promptly to any questions or concerns I had. I would certainly call them again for any future jobs.

The overall experience was fabulous! Shawn gave me a very reasonable estimate for this job and performed the work in a timely fashion. He and his crew arrived promptly and were extremely professional. I have had my house painted before, but never with the attention to detail that Shawn Daniels Painting provided. There was not a spot of paint or drippings anywhere after they were finished. They are the consummate professionals from start to finish. I plan to have the inside of my house painted in the near future and I will not hesitate to contact Shawn Daniels Painting for this job and have already recommended him to a colleague for their painting needs. He was very prompt and did the work. One thing that stood out is that he returned our calls when we wanted the estimate. We were very pleased over all. I think his price was very fair.

We are very satisfied with the work and the cost. They did an excellent job. They were punctual.

Good results. There was no estimate for wood replacement and carpentry work since final needs would not be determined until actually working on the wood. Final cost was higher than expected due to the time involved to make repairs, but seemed to be fair. Quality of work was good. Overall grade would have been higher if an estimate of the time needed to make repairs to exterior wood had been provided so the final bill would not have been a surprise.

Shawn Daniels Painting made the entire process simple.

He is very courteous, pricing is reasonable and the work is impeccable. We never have to call him back for additional touch ups. When he is finished with the job, he cleans up very well. When he has painted outside for us, all of the scrapings are picked up out of the flowerbed. He is very punctual; he's here when he says he will be here.
