Steve was available. He came quickly and replaced my thermostat the same day. I was surprised at how affordable it was. Thank you!

Steve installed a new Amana AC unit for us a few years ago now. Most recently our fan shorted out and a small piece in the AC unit began leaking. I texted Steve late in the evening and by 7 AM I had a response from him. He was at my house by 8 AM and had the system back up and running by 9. Very personable as always, and has given me, over the years, a lot of good advice for how to maintain our system well. Very thankful for his help.

They charged for a visit. We didn't have a service contract, but we purchased the unit through them. We were surprised that they came out to check it. They were courteous and attentive to our needs. They showed us different warranties that we can get. They showed up different types of unit and what would be best for our house. They were very clean to the point that one couldn't tell if they were barely even here. They were out here fairly quickly too. They were out here within a couple of days before they got everything in here. We called & came out to do an assessment. We ordered what we needed and it was done within a couple of days. The guy was very personable. It was a great service. We called them on Sunday and they came out on Monday, so that was nice. Everything is good. They got back to us right away. They said they would be here and they were here.

In the first part of May, he installed the first unit. He didn't install it properly, and therefore the system was not purging any humidity. This caused severe mold damage throughout my home, which damaged carpeting, as well furniture and has caused health issues. We have had 3 units installed by him now, beginning in May of 2011. He blames the system problems on Amana, but they said that it is because he was not installing the system properly. One install left water pouring from the unit because it wasn't done right. This caused more costly mold damage throughout the entire home. The Amana rep stood by me every step of the way and has tried everything to make this right. He went room by room testing the moisture levels, and confirmed the high humidity levels. The humidity level in my 3 story home was 70%! Nothing would dry. Steve is not knowledgable enough to correct what has been done. We hired a mold remediation company, based on help from Amana and I want Steve to pay that bill. He still hasn't replaced the thermstat as stated in our contract. He will not respond to my attempts to contact him. I don't want him in my house again, but I do think he should pay the mold remediation bill, give me the promised digital thermometer, and refund the money that it will cost me to put in a basement intake vent.
