I did not move forward with their service for the repairs because the price was too high compared to other bids I received. They were professional.

+ -1 moreMy home was burned in October. While we were waiting for the electrical work to be completed, I called Pure Air Service to clean my ventilation system. I have oil heat that will produce black soot and to mention the black soot produced from the fire. They cleaned the ventilation system and gave me a 25% discount out of generosity because of my situation. They came out again to ensure that no additional black soot would come in the home. We have experienced no problems with the service. They were here when they said they would. I would recommend their services.
Description of Work: I have used them a few times in the past. The first time I used them to clean my air ducts because of a dust problem.. Unfortunately, it did not solve my dust problem but they pulled out wood and nails that the builder left behind. I used them twice again for air duct cleaning.

+ -1 moreThe technician arrived on time and explained everything and worked all day. He even showed us all the debris that was extracted. The house was clean after 5 years of major dust.
Description of Work: Cleaned all my ducts and did a great job but they left the major vent in our attic uncovered and it caused water backup. I attribute this to lack of experience but otherwise, they we're okay.

Description of Work: I had used this company before when it was owned by John, I don't remember his last name. Pure Air Service had always done an excellent job cleaning the air ducts in my house. I called to set up an appointment and found out that John had retired and sold his company to someone he had known for quite some time. The new owner was very pleasant and courteous. I told him that I had a $75.00 coupon for air duct cleaning. He honored the discount and that is why I paid such a low price for the work. The same two workers that had come when John was the owner, Nixon and Eduardo, arrived within the two hour time frame that was quoted when I made the appointment. They were polite, courteous, efficient, and very clean; they took off their shoes as soon as they walked into the house. They brought all their supplies, including a covering for the floor in the foyer, quickly into the house. Nixon and Eduardo worked very efficiently together. While Nixon was finishing his work at an air duct, Eduardo was going after Nixon to complete the work at the register. I was also very impressed with the way they cleaned after the work was completed. Hiring Pure Air Service was a good experience. I would hire this company again and would recommend them to anyone who wanted to have the air ducts in their homes cleaned. Thanks.

+ -1 moreWe used Pure Air Service 6 years ago, this was a repeat service after we had major A/C repairs completed. We scheduled over the phone and the three man crew arrived as promised before 8:30am. They setup a large vacuum unit in the laundry room that draws air from ducts while they move to each vent in the system to snake compressed air lines through the ducts. They also vacuumed each vent opening and floor register. Since our ducts already had the access holes cut, they were able to finish the work in less than 2 hours. One of the crew members, Nixon, handled all the explainations. He seemed to be the only one who spoke english proficiently. He explained that the former owner, who had performed the service previously, sold the business 3-4 years ago and retired (he is still pictured on their postcards). They were careful to not let our pets out while they moved from room to room. They placed a sticker on the furnace indicating the service should be performed again in August, 2014. Our ducts were very dirty and now seem to be clean again. We're satisfied with the service.

+ -1 moreWhen all the feeder ducts were done, I removed one of the floor registers and discovered a fist-sized ball of dirty lint in the duct. I pointed this out to the lead technician, Nixon, and he spent another half hour extensively vacuuming the ductwork adjacent to all floor ducts until all ducts were cleaned to my satisfaction AND at no extra charge. I am quite pleased with their work. However, I wish they had a better system of quality control to avoid the situation that we encountered.
Description of Work: Two technicians arrived within the proposed time window. They set up and peformed all duct cleaning in about an hour. As each return duct register was removed, they showed me the before-and-after condition of each duct. The difference was impressive, just as it was shown in the company's website..

+ -1 moreEstimate was given, and after a few messages back and forth a date and time was set. I was told by two different people during the first phone call and appointment scheduling, that the vent covers would be taken off to clean the vents. The crew showed up and performed their job; however, they only removed the intake vent covers none of the wall covers. The tool they used to blow the air through the vent covers bent a couple of my slats in the covers. I called the office inquiring about why they didn't remove any of the covers, kind of questioning "did I get what I paid for," and to mention that there is obvious slats that are bent (and I have not been able to get them back to their original state). I was told he would talk to the crew and get back with me. That was weeks ago, and I have never heard anything back.

+ -1 moreFirst job went perfectly. Second job I thought was a little sloppier. Two post-job vent plugs were left out and the cover to my furnace filter was left off. They also may have missed one room (if so, my fault as much as their's). Problems were minor and I fixed them myself.

+ -1 moreThe owner and his two assistants were prompt and courteous. They did a very good job, as far as I could tell, but my ducts were in pretty good shape anyway. The owner explained each step, but he sure did like to talk. In fact he ''talked down'' to me, and was a very poor listener. I had told him that we had no pets, did not smoke and did not have children. When it was obvious that the ducts were in good shape, he would ask if we smoked. He also argued with me about the furnace filters I was using and wouldn't listen to my explanation.
Description of Work: Cleaned the air ducts in my two story home with basement. Two furnaces.
