They did well. There was one small section of the stairway where the stair runner really wasn’t centered, it was off to the side, and I probably didn’t catch it for like a week after they left but the person that I worked with, that gave me the estimate was very good about discussing the different options. They did a good, high-quality job overall, it was just one section and I am thinking about having them come back and redo it. They were professional and quiet and did their work except for one little portion that they didn’t notice at the time. The pricing was reasonable.

Max and his team were the best! He was here everyday and they even helped me move a couch to a neighbors which they didn't have to do. They put the furniture back exactly as it was and cleaned up. Max gave me very good advice on how to keep my floors in good condition. He and his team were very professional. The workers worked straight through. Didn't stop to fool around or even take a break. They got the job done quickly and expertly. They were friendly and professional and had very good manners. I would recommend Pro Floor to anyone! They are the best!!!!

The experience was great. From the start Max was very helpful and worked well with my wife. He started by putting in a manufactured hardwood floor over slab concrete in my family room and replacing my stairs and upstairs hallway with haedwood flooring. He then sanded the existing flooring and stained all of it to match. He also replaced the carpet in our bedrooms. Max also provided us with names of people to to complete our renovations IE: railings and painting. He work well and coordinated all the work to ensure everything was done in a timley manner.

They are really good. They are professional and courteous. Their price was reasonable.

Everything went completely perfect. Not only was the work perfect the owner Max responded extremely quickly to my urgent request (the tenants were moving in soon and I had made a last minute decision to change the carpet after realizing how dirty it was). The owner is awesome and the quality of the work is outstanding.

I was very pleased with Pro-Floor except for two minor points. We could have covered our basement before they worked on the hardwood floor installation. The other thing is they put the hardwood on the grass. It killed my grass. They were very nice to work with. They answered all my questions. I actually enjoyed working with them. They did everything they said they would do. The molding looks great. The stairs are wonderful. The threshold in our bedrooms are great.

the proposal process and clarifiction process went well. installation was started and finished as specified. Max Beck [owner] was very involved and responded to my various issues for the refinishing and the new carpet runners. still have the runner down the staircase to install but dont see that as a big problem.

I was very impressed with Max. When I called to get an estimate for replacement of a damaged carpet, Max was able to come the same day to see the area and show me samples. When he arrived, he took his time to go over all the possibilities for the area, including patching the damaged carpet or replacing the carpet for the entire room. He measured everything several times and explained in detail what the different options would be, including the costs for each option. I felt very confident that he knew what he was talking about and that he wasn't trying to sell me more services than I needed, and after we had decided how to proceed he was able to complete the job to our total satisfaction. I would highly recommend Max and Pro Floor.

We used Pro-Floor to refinish the existing hardwood downstairs. He removed the carpet on the stairs, and upstairs and installed new hardwood their. Max was on time for our initial meeting. He was very careful with his estimate and took his time educating me about my choices. I learned I had a opportunity to change the finish downstairs but Max explained what would work best for my family (dogs and kids) and how to match the railing on my stairs to keep in my budget. I recieved 3 quotes and they were all with in $1000 of each other. Max fell in the middle but his manner made me sure that his company was the one to choose. He was on site at least twice each day. His staff was very polite. They arrived and left on the stated times and he finished on time. The finished product is beautiful, and I am very glad I choose Pro Floors.

Max made an appointment to bring over carpet samples and was on time with an array of products. I wanted every room re-carpeted and when Max saw the living room he talked me out of replacing that room because he said it looked like it was in perfect condition. He said it would not stand out and he was right, there was enough space between the rooms and I saved some money! I asked his advice on color selection and I loved all his suggestions. The ordering was a breeze, the installation was great and his installers were so CLEAN. They swept, they vacuumed when they left everything looked great!

We used ProFloor earlier this year to install hardwood flooring in a room which had not been done in 2005. Their work was far superior to the other company in every respect. As a result we went back to ProFloor to do the replacement work. As expected they did the job very professionally and excellently.

Max at Pro-Floor helped us pick out carpet for our new townhouse. We had to redo the top floor (bedrooms) and the basement (rec room). He brought a number of samples and helped us determine what quality carpet we would need based on our likely usage. As we do not have kids and plan to use two of the three bedrooms as guest rooms, Max recommended only mid-grade carpet for the upstairs. Since we plan to use the rec room as our main gathering place, he recommended top-grade carpet there. This resulted in nearly a $500 savings by not using the top-grade throughout. The installation itself was prompt and well-done. The carpet is beautiful, the installation is flawless and we could not be more pleased with the work. Max himself was very helpful. During the estimate, we mentioned that there had been some water seepage under an outer wall. Max went outside and discovered the source and told us how we could fix it. He then took a look in our furnace / AC room and gave us several tips for avoiding water issues there and maintaining our systems. He also gave us pointers on how to extend the life of the hardwood floors we have on the middle floor, including a tip on where to put a rug to minimize dog scratches from coming down the stairs. On the day of the install, we also had a new sectional sofa delivered. As the carpet had not yet been completed in the basement where the sofa was to end up, we had the delivery men leave it on the back porch. When the workers let us know that the basement had been finished, we went down and saw that they had brought in the sofa for us without even being asked. This was an amazing help. All in all, we were impressed by Max's attention-to-detail and thoroughness, the quality of the work and product and the helpfulness of the whole team. We got much more than we expected. We did do some comparison shopping between Pro-Floor and Lowe's and Home Depot to make sure we were making the right decision. The "quote" from Lowe's was around $600 more expensive and was not even a real quote. Lowe's and Home Depot will not do an actual quote unless you pay a $35 fee that will be applied towards your installation. The gentleman we spoke to at Home Depot was utterly useless, uninterested in helping us out and, quite frankly, seemed high. He literally lost his train of thought mid-sentence. The big stores also break up all of your charges to make it difficult to see the end value. You are never quite sure you have the whole cost. The quote from Pro-Floor was cheapest and a true quote - i.e. this is the amount you will write on your check. The bonus of working with a competent installer was just icing on the cake. Pro-Floor did not seem motivated to upsell us on anything, while I felt that Home Depot and Lowe's were determined to tell us we needed top-of-the-line products because we have pets.

We met with Max on three ocassions and all went well! The first visit was to get an estimate, second visit was to give him the key and the third visit was to get the key back once work was complete. We had very old carpet on the first floor and builder grade linoleum in the foyer which needed to be replaced very badly. We knew what stone we wanted in the foyer and purchased on our own. We picked carpet and padding with Max and weren't disappointed. Day one of the job included removal and installation of the stone in the foyer. The second day was grouting the tile and then two days later (on a Sunday), Max and Fabio came back to seal the tile. The fourth day was the removal of the carpet on the stairs and replaced with hardwood. The last day included the removal of the carpet and installation of the new carpet. Great job and I'd use Max and his company again. Very professional, the house was always clean at the end of the day and I had no concerns with them working in the house while I was at work. I highly recommend Pro Floors and Max, they do a great job!!!!

Initially Max's crew installed oak hardwood floors in our upstairs master bedroom and adjoining office. We were so pleased with the result that rather than replacing our outdated carpet with new carpet, we opted to have Max return and install hardwood in the remaining rooms of the upper level, our staircase, and main level family room. We had all wood floors in a previous home that we had rented and really enjoyed the ease of caring for them (no more vacuuming!), so we were glad to be able to add that to our own home. The crew was extremely efficient and very capable during each installation. They took time to screw down loose floor boards prior to installation, so no sqeaks. Prior to making a decision, Max spent a lot of time with us, thinking through the best option based on our family needs and budget.He also provided informationon on how to care for the floors after installation. Since it took me a while to get around to write this review, I can say that the floors still look awesome and are very easy to care for.

Pro-Floor was very honest, open and above board and professional throughout the whole process. As a result of their excellent advise we decided to forgo the repairs until we can replace the entire botched original installation by K&E Construction and their subs in 2005/2006.

The owner, Max, arrived on time for the estimate. He showed several samples and was very knowledgable. His was the lowest estimate I received and I liked his professionalism so we went with him. The installation crew was also on time and worked diligently for hours. Max also came to oversee everything and make sure we were satisified. I was mostly impressed with the fact that they were actually on time and Max seems to know everything about flooring! We are also happy with the quality and appearance of the carpet. Definitely recommend Pro Floor! We will actually be using them again for hardwood floors.

It when well, no pressure in the sales of the job, very attentive to our follow up questions. While a crew was present for tearing out the old ceramic tile, putting down the new wood, sanding and then finishing Max was there almost all the time. Putting down unfinished cost a little more and takes more time, but given the desire to match older existing floors it was the only way to go. To be honest, I don't know if this was a great price or not, we relied on previous advice found on Angie's list and I felt like it was reasonable given the large amount of tear out and the large areas of new and refinished area to complete. Also, Max was prompt about coming by to provide an estimate.

We bought a new house with hardwood floors and wanted to have them refinished prior to moving in. I got several estimates, and I'll admit that Max came in higher than the others - one by several hundred dollars - but I was very impressed with his knowledge, communications and attention to detail. He explained everything about the process up front, showed me areas that may not come out perfect and explained why, etc. His crew was great - they started and stopped on time, were very conscientious about cleaning up behind themselves and not damaging anything else in the process. I had follow up questions and Max always got right back to me if he didn't answer right away. I would HIGHLY recommend Max and Pro-Floors for their professionalism and beautiful, detail oriented work. We were VERY happy with their service and would use again if the need arose.

Max and his installers were as professional and competent and always. The room looks great with new hardwood floors. Max even took a look at the floors he had installed months ago to make sure they were doing well. One of the dogs had scratched a spot and he fixed it while he was here (free of charge).

Max and his crew replaced our carpet before our house went on the market. They replaced the entire pad and carpet in the basement and bedroom downstairs. The job looks beautiful and we got many positive comments on it during house showings! I recommend this company as I have used them before for several jobs - carpet in an upstairs bedroom, hardwood in an upstairs bedroom and several closets, and minor hardwood repair. Pro Floor has always done a terrific job and the price has been more than fair.

The owner was very responsive and helpful. The crew was punctual and mostly professional. They kept to the agreed upon schedule and even deducted some of the costs due to a change (old floor not able to be removed). My only complaint is that we're noticing that they cut a few corners, but we should have brought it to their attention at the time, so partially our fault.

Max was very organized and returned emails and calls quickly---he is very reliable. He was very thorough in his explanation of products and services and helped us decide that carpet was the best flooring option. His crew arrived a little early the day of installation (he arranged for it to occur on a Saturday since we had difficulty getting off work during the week) and they were finished with the job much earlier than expected. Max was present for most of the installation and did a complete check of all work before anyone left. I was so pleased I told a co-worker after her basement flooded a while later. She hired them to install carpet and redo tile flooring and she was very happy as well.

Pro Floors gets my vote for absolute best-in-class! My initial call for a quote was met with immediate responsiveness as Max Beck returned my call promptly and was willing and able to provide me with an in-home estimate within the hour! Upon his arrival, I received an estimate for the job as I had originally envisioned (refinishing the 30-year old hardwood floor in my family room), as well as alternative solutions that would ensure a more seamless and up-to-date hardwood visage for my entire first floor (except center foyer and kitchen). That and the price quoted for both the smaller job and the larger alternative were both quite reasonable. I opted for the larger job, three rooms (approx. 900 square feet) of new Bruce hardwood flooring. Pro floors removed the old flooring and carpeting and installed new hardwoods within the week. The product delivered was exactly as per the contract (new pre-finished Bruce hardwood floors, as well as sanded and stained custom steps in my home). The installation itself took just a day and a half. Pro Floors also replaced shoe-molding which was unfinished, overly large and old fashioned that had been installed by the kitchen renovation contractor less than three months earlier. Finally, in order to leave the family room with a consistently beautiful wood finish, Max?s crew sanded and re-stained the built-in bar which formerly was fronted with a wood veneer matching the old floor. Pro Floors? crew is courteous, polite and, best of all, extremely skilled in their trade. From initial phone call to request quote for above work in our new home to completion, Max Beck has displayed the utmost professionalism, knowledge and customer service. His honest assessment of our hardwood flooring saved us thousands of dollars in refinishing costs and his recommendations for flooring for a family of six were spot on. He and his crew installed the hardwood in the kitchen to match the existing hardwoods when another contractor had said they themselves could not match it. The floor is beautiful, excellent work done. Pro-Floor worked around our schedule of pre and post move into the home, always prompt and courteous in communication and follow thru. Max has gone above and beyond with advice in protecting new hardwood as in noting during install leaking plumbing fixtures we had not observed. Wall to wall carpeting was installed with minimal touch-ups to new paint. With respect to his honesty and integrity, we have sought his advice in other contractual work needing to be done and contractors. His advice and recommendations have been invaluable in assisting us in completion of projects. We have already had Pro-Floor do a carpeting job at previous home. We recommend Pro-Floor and we will call them for our future flooring needs.
