PestNow did the initial termite inspection of my home when I purchased it 3 years ago. I signed up for the quarterly maintenance service when I moved in and have been pleased ever since. They come on a regular schedule and apply the product outside as a barrier around the home so there is no need to be present for the appointment. If you are home, they will come in and apply insecticide as needed. There is no odor from the inside product. Also, you can call them if you have a specific problem any time in between the service appointments and they come very quickly. All the technicians and staff I have dealt with are very courteous.

Overall, PestNow has been great to work with. They are very responsive on the phone and worked around our busy schedule. They provide good customer service and are answer any questions. The technicians were friendly, clean, and quick with their work. The immediately focused on the problem areas and pointed out some reasons why were getting roaches. The only thing I knocked them for is that they arrived at the very end of the appointment window and didn't give me a heads up that they were on their way, so I was waiting around unsure if they were going to show. They did show, of course, and were very efficient about their work.

They were great and no more crickets!

First time to purchase Big Deal ($340 year round treatment) Initial consult with Chad who was bound and determined to figure out how the mice were getting into house as we had no evidence except the odor of dead mouse. We had some bait under stairway and in laundry room, but we wanted to end the surprise odor that popped in 2 or 3 times a year! He used locked bait in ceiling of laundry room and also under stairway, and monitored for activity in the next few weeks. He also found a few spots that the mice may be sneaking in and those crevices and openings were sealed. I appreciated the perseverance and dedication to this problem. Anthony and Nick performed the next two quarterly treatments, also checking for activity in locked bait. We had considerably less crickets this year and only one instance of mouse odor in the early weeks of treatment. We need to make it through the winter without odor ...we have one more quarterly treatment. We will know then that Pest Now triumphed and we are already grateful for their diligence and responsiveness. Each of the Pest Now service representatives encouraged us to call at the first sniff of dead mouse so that they could stop by and determine that there is no other possible entry. That is reassuring to know that they want the job done right, even if it takes more than one quarterly visit!!

Now that they are building in the area we are having a lot of problems with roaches. They are very responsive. They always come within the time window they give you.

What kept me as their customer are their reliability and thoroughness. I think their price is pretty reasonable. If I ever had an issue, they come quickly. I have called them years ago not lately but for different critters or creatures that were not part of the contract or for new nests or something like wasp’s nests.

I bought an Angie's List deal for rodent treatment. They contacted within hours to set up an appointment. They had an initial appointment to set out poison and seal entry points. They have also come out for a follow up appointment. Everyone has been very friendly, shown up on time, and been responsive

Reached out promptly, came as scheduled and did a thorough investigation. Put out traps and advised on actions we could take to prevent future issues. Very helpful.

They've come a few times and every time was great!

Hornets nest was unoccupied. I contracted with provider to remove nest. The technician used a long pole to break loose ~ 70% of the unoccupied nest, however left a significant portion attached to the soffit of the house and half what he broke loose on the roof. Instead of climbing a ladder and removing the debris from the roof, he stated the wind would eventually blow it away. Two days later I had my gutter guy remove the debris. In fairness, the technician reduced the price from $125 to $80, however, I just didn't get a good vibe regarding the whole experience. I felt like the technician was not in interested getting up on a ladder in order to complete the job appropriately. Overall, both employees I spoke with were very professional and courteous, quick to deliver a service call, and arrived on time. Due to the overall experience, and feeling that the job was only partially done, I'm not sure I will call upon their service in the future.

Comprehensive barrier for bugs around two bedroom condo. Would recommend PestNow, they were on time, professional and courteous.

It took awhile to get the original work scheduled. The work wasn't very thorough, though they were willing to come back and fix what went wrong.

Several weeks ago we realized that we had the dreaded bed bug infestation within our home. We had already contracted with Pest Now for the yearly service where they treat our home on a quarterly basis. They have already done a great job so we went ahead and contacted them for the Bed Bug service as well. Pest Now quoted as a very reasonable price for the treatment which consisted of a total of 3 services over a 30 day period done in 2 week intervals. The person that I spoke with over the phone gave me detailed instructions on how to prepare for the services which you really need to follow if you want the treatment to be effective. After preparing for the service, our specialist Darryl showed up who also happened to be the person that treated our house for our quarterly service and on call appointments. We enjoyed the fact that they send over the same person because they are already familiar with our home, us, our needs and concerns, and we were already comfortable with him. Darryl is a great guy and he went out of his way to really get to know our family. He was always pleasant to talk with and was always willing to answer any of our questions. We completely trusted him and had no worries about leaving him and his partner Jeff while we left (you cannot be present during the service and must let the spray dry over 4 hours). After we returned home from the first service, we noticed that they had thoroughly sprayed the high risk areas. The couches were taken apart, the beds and frames turned, and everything moved so that they could spray every little crevice that those pesky bed bugs would hide in. I only got a few bites after the first treatment and after the second treatment we have been bite free! We just had our final treatment this past weekend and no longer have the fear of getting bitten. Pest Now does provide a 90 day warranty in which they will come back to respray if we happen to find the bugs again. Darryl and Jeff provided excellent service for each of the three treatments and fully respected our home and privacy. If they are any indication of the rest of the Pest Now company, then they are truly a top notch contractor.

Termite and beetle treatment last year went well, and an inspection a year later indicates the problem was solved. So happy with that. There was, however, a billing issue we were not aware of. We paid on site, and then for several months continued to get emailed an additional bill for about $50. A few calls indicated this was a local tax that was not included when we paid on site, and the fee was eventually waved (the emails kept coming asking us to pay the fee, but after a few more phone calls it eventually stopped). Since we were happy with the service rendered, it was a headache but it didn't turn us off to using them in the future. Last month they came out to reinspect for termites and beetles and ensure the treatment had worked. They discovered a rodent problem and we decided to get treatment for that as well. We scheduled for treatment a week later. When they showed, they sprayed for insects and set a few rat boxes under the house and in the guest bedroom. We were told they'd come back in three weeks to check the traps, and lay new ones if needed. Two weeks later we noticed some smells coming from a trap, so we called called to confirm they were coming out the following week and were told yes. But sadly at the three week mark they were a no show. I called and the company said we hadn't been put on the schedule, but they could have someone here tomorrow. Overall, I'm happy with their service. But their punctuality in regards to billing and appointments makes me hesitant to enter into a one year contract with them, as we had originally intended to do.

Excellent service at a reasonable price. They call to schedule in advance and show when promised. Only have to be home if an inside treatment is needed. Paid for an annual contract in 2013 at an Angie's List price and was allowed to renew at the same price for another year.

They have been on time, responsive, fair and professional. They are wonderful to work with and very personable and also willing to come out and treat if we see any sign of pests. I would highly recommend them to others.

I cannot even begin to sing enough praises for these guys. From first contact I was impressed. I sent a message via Angie's list and was called back with information, and given a direct cell number for further questions. I thought I had a mouse problem so they sent out someone for that and he identified the feces as Bat, not mouse. He highly suggested I contact their department that deals with Bats for a free quote. The inspector (Bobby) came out and gave a very thorough estimate of services and I went ahead and signed up, despite the high cost. A technician came out that week (Charles) and sealed up a few spots. The bats were not gone, and seemed to return with a vengeance (35+ flew out of our attic one evening!). He returned and placed something outside to deter the bats from flying in again, and then came back to clean out the attic and do more sealing up. Once that was all taken care of, and Bobby came out for a follow up I noticed a terrible ammonia smell still present in our office and basement. I e-mailed Bobby and he immediately responded to set up a time to come back out. He came in and noticed a smell and suggested getting a contractor in to remove the baseboards and inspect for either water damage or feces (they would fit the bill!) and so I agreed. The contractor came out and found piles of bat poop which he promptly and thoroughly cleaned up. He deodorized the walls and sealed everything back up like new. Bobby returned to do a final inspection and everything checked out. We are bat and smell free! They also provide a 1 year warranty which gives me peace of mind. What was amazing to me was not only the prompt service and availability, but the personal contact (I didn't have to call into a main office every time I had a question). These guys are amazing and like no other service provider I have ever dealt with. I am telling everyone to use them, and they deserve all the Pest business!

Whenever I call them, they come within a day. They are super responsive. Their prices are reasonable. I have a contract with them.

Very well. Very quick, but thorough. Found the entry point for the mice and laid bait stations.

They had a special deal and they were okay. We had to get them back out several times for an ant problem we were having in the house. When we had them out for the initial service, it was part of the deal. We’re paying them now per quarter for the outside. They were very professional. The main guy that we talked to seemed to know what he was doing. We had to have them out several times though, because the ants were coming inside and we had to get that cleared out. So we would rate their service as average. They were responsive when we called them because we were still having the ant problems. They sent somebody back out and there were no hassles. We had a special and so it was a decent price. The quality was average. The ants finally cleared up after the third trial and they didn’t charge us anything extra for it. They were fair about that. We would probably not use them again once the current contract is over. We would probably try to find somebody better.

I've had really amazing experiences with this company and continue to be impressed by their inspectors and exterminators. The last week in June we discovered we had a flying ant infestation, with them gaining access to the interior of our home through a crack in the face of our fireplace. At the time, I suspected they were flying ants (rather than termites) based on research I had done on the internet, but wasn't sure. I contacted both Terminix and Pest Now for estimates via phone, and Pest Now had a better "quarterly service plan" both in price and the fact that Pest Now said they'll go up on roofs if needed. Pest Now charged $150 for the initial visit/quarter, and $85/quarter thereafter. Each quarter's payment and visit maintains a 90-day warranty in which they will return without further charge for inspection and extermination of a long list of pests and rodents (although not termites) even if it's something different than what their initial visit was for. For full disclosure, I do have to say that I was completely unimpressed with the first inspector who came to our house for a variety of reasons (primarily he was trying to up-sell me on termite coverage without being able to provide proof we had termites, never once discussed any alternatives, and then was trying to throw in random "discounts" off the price he originally listed to make the cost appear more appealing). I contacted the company immediately after he left our house however to express my discontent, and they connected me with an inspector via phone who identified that he had almost 20 years experience in the business and provided me a laundry list of ways to identify flying ants vs. termites. He subsequently offered for me to text him a picture of the insects I had, and that he would make a personal visit to my house the next day if I desired. We were able to identify by photo and the list of factors he explained that we had flying ants, not termites. He set me up with an appointment to have an exterminator come spray our house on the "quarterly service plan" rather than termite protection, which was significantly more affordable. The experienced inspector also assured me he would be working with the initial gentleman who inspected our house to provide further training. Since the initial service appointment in June 2014, we have had another quarterly visit performed and had other visits in-between for additional insects such as wasps, fruit flies, and potential mice. I have had positive and productive visits with every inspector and exterminator who have subsequently visited our home, and look forward to continuing our service with Pest Now.

The first three treatments were great, with a technician who seemed to know his stuff inside and out, and was intent on doing everything he could to help us kill the bugs and roaches we occasionally saw. The fourth guy was a dud - he rushed through and just didn't seem to know what he was doing. His truck was branded with another company's logo, so maybe he was a last minute replacement or contractor. At any rate, we emailed to see about getting someone more thorough. We were promised a phone call that didn't end up happening, but when we contacted them via email again they were very responsive and set us up with another treatment at no cost. The year is up, so I have received a few phone calls from Pest Now offering to keep our treatments going. Their offer is $85 a quarter to continue the service. The rep on the phone asked what pests we were seeing and I indicated roaches. He indicated that roaches are not and were not included in the deal we have had up to now and that it would be $185 for a first visit to include roaches, then $125 per quarter to continue. I was shocked to learn that the technicians visiting our home would not treat for roaches because we had spoken with them and clearly indicated that was an issue. The technicians never made any distinction between regular pest control and roaches. I indicated that if we had not been receiving treatments for roaches, I would be inclined to use a different company because if a technician was here and talking to us about roaches while not treating the house for roaches, that would be senseless. At that point, another person came on the phone to indicate that yes indeed we had been treated for roaches and that yes indeed we could continue. This has generally been a pretty good service for us--especially the first couple visits from a very competent and engaged technician. However, given the conflicting information and ease with which the rate could be changed, I'm dubious if the rate for roaches reflects an upgrade in service or is simply an upcharge for the same service. In any event, our costs have not increased which is great but now I am left a bit skeptical about whether or not I've been receiving the appropriate treatments or if this business perhaps inappropriately upcharges its customers. We continue to see some roaches, and are considering a move to another provider to see if there is an improvement.

I was generally pleased with my interactions with PestNow. The technician and inspector were professional and prompt, and they seemed genuinely interested in trying to explain the scratching noise. However, it seemed on several occasions that they would start to reassure me that there didn't seem to be any mice, but then would backtrack and warn me of all the harm mice (and other vermin they treat) could do, trying to sell me their quarterly treatments. They told me on several occasions that houses cannot be sealed off completely from mice, which was obviously not what I wanted to hear, but also not terribly relevant given that it appears we do not currently have any mice. It also was quite different from their description of the rodent exclusion process, which they stated involved closing 90% of the holes first, allowing the remaining 10% as egress, and then closing the final 10%. Their actual approach seemed more like an effort to close whatever they could find and assume that other spots still exist (like under a porch or deck) that are unidentifiable. The original scratching mystery is still not solved, but I do think that for $185 (which included 4 visits), it was worth it to find out that it doesn't appear to be caused by mice (at least not in the house or attic). I think the problem may be related to the chimney, which they were not able to fully inspect (there is a turn in the flue, making it hard to examine). I am going to try a wildlife expert next.
