PestNow brand was founded in Virginia in 1995 as Superior Pest Management when four high school friends came together to form their own company. Today, we have multiple locations in three states, and serve thousands of happy customers. We offer pest control; termite treatments and warranties; mosquito, flea & tick control; WDIs (real estate inspections); lawn fertilization & weed control; TAP insulation; and wildlife solutions for homeowners and businesses in the mid-Atlantic.

Before I purchased the annual plan offer, i called them to ensure it would meet my needs. I wanted mice proifing as well as capturing. I was assured the house would be assessed for entry points and sealed. The guy would not seal. He put two bait stations in my basement. Nothing on other two floors. We opened the stations 2 months later. The mice have not taken a bite.

If you are reading this review and have bed bugs, sorry for your infestation. It is a terrible thing to have to go through and it can be emotional traumatizing. The forums on bedbugger.com can be a great support system.
That being said, PestNow is a great pest control company. When I first suspected a problem, they sent someone over the next day for a free inspection and did find bed bugs (this is back in July). Their price is about average, maybe a little bit below. They are a small local business which also makes them great. They were very flexible in scheduling appointments and very patient with my calls. The bed bugs are gone, but they have done follow up free inspections to appease my paranoia. They are very well organized and communicate any issues that come up. I have a cockroach infestation that they have been treating as well. You cannot go wrong with Pest Now.

Service provider showed up 4 or 5 hours late. To his credit, he kept in touch regarding his lack of punctuality. I hired this service because I wanted them to plug up holes in addition to doing baits. Provider said hole behind stove would need to be cloed before he could do any baiting. Tenant did not want roach spraying because it had been done recently before. So basically nothing done in the house.... that was the last I heard from them. No attempt to schedule quarterly service or to followup.
Angies List customer service contacted me TWICE to survey me about my experience with this particular company. On the second occasion, I took time to explain the situation and customer service rep said she would check in with the company and get back to me. Never heard from them again either.
Tenants called tonight reporting to see another mouse == hoping Pest Control Now will honor this agreement and at least give me the yearly service I paid for more than 6 months ago. (I had to pay another contractor to plug up the drywall holes too).

"Really no excuse for bad service and to make excuses only makes the company look worse, companies drop the ball and when it happens you just have to find out why, fix it, and make sure you learn from it. In saying that, we are trying to research the address given as a service address and we are not finding it or that we have had service there. Great. Pest Now is very fast in appointment set up, and can usually fit you in within one day. They are very professional, and take time to do a full review and take all needed actions. In fact, they discovered that the condo management company's vendor, American Pest has placed dangerous poison in the open, and removed all of that as part of the service.
The offered package service here on Angie's List has a 90 day "Guarantee", which basically means they will do follow up vistsis as part of the package. I already have had one where they replaced the poison in the bait stations and offered suggestions for work outside their scope to help (getting the management company to do some maintenance work to block potential entry points, etc..).. They will be back out for another follow up next week.
And obviously, the most important point, we have not seen any sign of mouse activity outside of poison bait eating since they have done their first visit. We'll see if that has ended as well next week. I cannot more highly recommend them.

Both men that were sent out to spray did a great job! They were very professional, they knew exactly what they were doing. They answered every question we had. They set up bait after they sprayed, both visits. They stopped by without us knowing yesturday which was not a problem for me. And the gentlemen that stopped by set up more bait for the roaches. Since the last visit maybe a little more then a month ago, I have maybe seen one or two roaches. Whatever it is that they are using works! We are very satisfied with their service.
