Unfortunately, the mouse is still in the kitchen. Update: I haven't seen the mice since the follow-up visit, so far so good. I really appreciate PestNow's responsiveness and will use them again if another problem presents itself.

Pests were not addressed until I personally dealt with problem.

When I called I told the girl on the phone scheduling the appointment that I had squirrels in the attic and need them removed and I didn't know how they were getting in. She scheduled the inspector to come out two days after that. The inspection was going to be free, so that I was very happy about. When the gentlemen came, he was right on time, however when he called to tell me he was on the way, I told him again, squirrels in the attic. This is where it got a little strange. He said, well I don't have a ladder or anything to get on the roof or the attic. Huh? If I told the girl that there the problem was in the attic, I wondered why he didn't come prepared. Okay, bigons, I'm flexible. No problem, I have a ladder - a small one. I showed him where the noise was coming from and then were the entry to the attic was. He looked in the attic, said there were a lot of mouse droppings and at that time he believed the problem to be mice. Then he took my small ladder and went out to the deck where he was able to make his way on the roof (he was wearing nicely pressed Caci pants and a polo type shirt - to come and inspect for rodents...) He did find an entry way on the other side of the house where squirrels were noticeably coming in and out. After this he climbed down and told me that squirrel removal was a bit expensive, but they would treat for mice at the same time and he would "throw that in for free" at a total cost of 650.00 (this was with the whopping $30.00 off Angies List coupon) He said that they would come out, remove the squirrel and treat for the mice and that the squirrel would be guaranteed for a few year (cant' remember the exact) and the mice 3 months - and they could treat for mice every three months on a annually payment plan. They would poison the mice and they would die and decay quickly in the attic and the squirrel would be caught and released away from the house. That was the explanation. I scheduled this for the following day - then after a few hours of thought I decided it was a lot of money! I knew very little about their procedures, the inspector wasn't prepared or efficient and the price was just too high - altogether after some thought, I was unimpressed. So to round out the story I called another company (Adcocks Trapping Service) who came out - thoroughly inspected the attic and the outside, explained that mice droppings were very old and didn't see anything very new and that I indeed did have squirrels. The girl I made an appointment with and the gentleman that came to the house were very detailed on their plans and methods to capture the squirrels. I knew the methods before he even go there and he filled in the gaps with my particular situation. They would come to the house everyday until they stopped catching squirrels and then they would reseal the hole and fix some rotting wood that I had no idea was there and surely wasn't pointed out by the last inspector. I have had six squirrels removed from my attic. They have come everyday for over a week and a half, checked the traps and reset them and taken the squirrels to their "new home" and will be coming this week to repair the damage so no more can get in. They guarantee their work for 10 YEARS - AND I have only spent $425. Thanks to them I'm knowledgable and can now sleep past 6am without hearing scratches on the ceiling :-)

It worked out good. I would use them again in the future.

They install a Sentricon brand termite bait & control system for about $650 or more, and they inspect it quarterly. In subsequent years you pay $350 for just the quarterly inspections. The bait stations are plastic spikes that are inserted into the ground. They contain wood that attracts termites more than the wood in your house, and it contains a colony eliminating poison that they take back to the colony. The company scans the stations quarterly with an electronic wand, sort of like a metal detector, which detects whether there was any termite activity. If I never have any new termite activity in my house, then i will know it works. Sentricon bait stations are a Dow product. Before getting the termite bait stations service, I was paying them about $99 a year to do a "termite inspection." The inspection consisted of a moderately trained person coming and shining a flashlight around the rafters of my basement looking for mud termite tubes. I felt like that was a waste of money since I can look at the wood rafters in my basement for mud termite tubes. They did not even look at the 80% of my basement that has moveable ceiling tiles covering the wood rafters! Waste of money. The Sentricon station service offers a lot more, even though it is 3.5 times more expensive each year. I called with a concern once and they responded to my question promptly and knowledgeably to my full satisfaction.

I have been a homeowner in several different states over the last 15 years. I have dealt with many different companies who come to my home for various services. Without a doubt, Technician Jason Fines of the Fredericksburg VA office is the absolute best example of what customer service should be. He goes beyond the expectations I have and is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the work he performs. I will continue to use this company as long as they continue to employ Technicians like Jason. I would recommend this company to anyone in the need of pest control.

Technicial was very prompt (so prompt he actually had to wait a few minutes for me since I had assumed that like most contractors they would not be on time). Technicial explain exactly what he was doing and why along with what follow up would be needed to prevent mice from reoccuring. Also no hard sell or upsell to sing me up for an extermination service contract, he did mention it was available but that was it. Very professional.

I bought this USD 340 annual treatments (4 times) deal because I had some ants problems. The job was done in about 25 mins each time. It took about a month for ants to die down. The staff didn't try to locate the ant nest and just randomly sprayed the premises. I would say the job is done so far. But it is winter, we will see how it goes when next spring comes. For a $340 deal, it is cheaper compared to those offered in DC area.

We were having problems with ants coming into the house at the start of spring and decided it was more than we could handle on our own. So I did a search on the list and saw that PestNow had good reviews and had a special deal for Aggie List members. We signed them up and they have been to their word as for the initial visit and subsequent visits, mainly scheduled but also at least once when we needed a quick response. However, there biggest help was providing prompt service when we needed a termite inspection and certification done quickly to meet our refinancing closing date. The financial institution had originally contracted with a nationwide termite company but they were unresponsive. When I had permission to see about using PestNow, they responded quickly (a day or two) so we could close on time.

We are about 3/4 into our 1 year contract with PestNow. We are extremely satisfied with the level of service we receive. I especially value that the same technician comes out every time. He is aware of our concerns and issues. Not only does he treat for the pests, he goes above and beyond with offering suggestions on prevention as well as following up to make sure we don't run into the same problems we've had before. I love the fact that when I call to schedule an appointment, I can have one as early as the next day if needed and that the technician is always timely. We will definitely renew when the time comes.

The second application seemed to take care of the problem.

They did a termite inspection and, of course, found termites. They treated the townhouse right away in time for the sale settlement.

They got rid of our mouse and ant problems.

I have no pests so am pleased. I did have to tell them to let me know in advance when they are coming. I have pets that need to be taken care of.

It went great! They sprayed for the bees right away. As more bees emerged, they came out 2x without charge to treat again and make sure all bees were dead.

They're wonderful in all aspects. I have been very pleased with them. They send me a letter when they're planning on coming, and if it conflicts with my schedule, they're happy to reschedule their appointment.

Just bought home. Followed up with work done just before move in, and they appeared to do a good job and set up high quality baiting system.

It was good. I had to have them come out a second time to set the traps right. They came back without a problem and the second guy did a really good job of handling it. The scheduling was easy and good.

provider came on time and was professional. He exterminated the home and then made a return appt. to come back again. I thought the work he did was acceptable....although I also think I could have done it myself .

Two guys came out and were very nice. They showed up exactly on time and were easy to schedule. However, I don't think they knew a ton about pests. Every time I would ask them a question (where are the ants coming from), they would suggest that I should have had their expert come out to make a treatment plan. The thing that really bothered me is that when I called to schedule the service, they suggested that I sign up for quarterly service at a slightly discounted rate. I decided not to do so and paid the higher rate. Three months later I have a hanger on my door with a bill for $89 saying that a person came out to treat and could not get in, but that they had treated the outside. When I called to complain, the service center didn't really act surprised and cancelled the bill and service. I'm glad that I didn't need to argue with them, but it makes me feel like they just sign you up for the quarterly whether you want it or not and then make you call to cancel.
