The customer service when booking was the best. I spoke to Mike immediately and he was very friendly and informed. They gave me a direct quote ($185), unlike others I called who said they could only estimate ($200-215) until they saw it. When I booked with Pest Pros Mike told me they actually had a special and it was on $135. So that was very appreciated. Technician ran about an hour late (arrived closer to 9am and original blocked time was 7-8am). However he called and kept me informed on his estimated arrival time. Once he got there service was quick, less than 20 minutes. The smell of the chemical is quite strong, but I could tell at least that he was putting it down! Sprayed basement and attic. Didn't push a follow up service, which I appreciated. I would certainly use them again if I have other pest issues

PestNow is a good company that I have used for years. The quarterly treatments have worked generally well and the problems I have had with carpenter ants has been corrected for the most part. One major suggestion that I have for the owner of the company is to be aware of possible "upselling" by his employees and managers. This technique, may induce a novice customer to purchase more expensive treatments or add-ons in an attempt to make a more profitable sale. I am not suggesting that Pest Now employees are truly upselling its customers but I am saying that this is an issue that needs to be carefully watched by Pest Now management and minimized. If there is a legitimate need for the homeowner to make improvements or to receive treatments to ensure that ongoing pest problems are effectively addressed, I fully agree with this approach. Given the area we live in and the potential for upselling in the pest control and other industries, I am very sensitive to receiving recommendations that appear to be to drive-up profits and this is something Pest Now needs to be aware of and address even if it is subtle and not always intentional.

The technician walked around the house with me and seemed reasonably knowledgable. They claim that if you see bugs and want an intermediate treatment in-between the routine quarterly treatments then they will visit for free. Sure enough they did with no catches. Seems like a good deal to me.

The contractors have always showed up on time and spent the time they needed to getting the job done. They guarantee their work, which I appreciate!

The technician, Jeff, arrived on-time, and he was very knowledgeable and courteous. He was very professional and efficient in his work, and the entire process; from ordering, to scheduling, to the appointment, to scheduling the follow-up appointment; were all handled in a well done manner.

Signed up a year ago for Angie's List special price for 4 quarterly treatments Pest Now reps were professional and responsive. Arrived on time each time. After the special expired we continue to use them. Just had them to the house to continue quarterly treatment, and also to inspect attic for mice and squirrels. They recommended replacement of attic insulation, which we are considering. Recommended replacement of insulation is costly, but did not receive high pressure sales pitch, unlike other service providers, just calm recommendation. So far satisfied with the service. (We have another company for termites because we started with that other company years ago and have warranty protection from them.)

The inspection was conducted by Mike Newman, contracted through a buyer's home inspection company. Michael was very thorough, knowledgeable and good to work with.He inspected the exterior and interior of the house and explained to us his findings and recommendations. We would recommend him again.

Not much to say really. They kept it simple and did the work I asked them to do. They used environmentally safe pesticide products which my wife really loves. I did not have to be home for them to do the work. They just came and did it while I was at work. They will be back in two months to do it again.

They are fine. Their cost is fine and their results are good. They are professional and on-time. I would recommend them to someone else. The only reason I give them a B is because the service we have them do, we can do ourselves for the most part. It is just that they initially were the ones that had given us the assessment so we had them do it every couple of months. Now, I am going to do it myself.

Amazing. They drive in from out of town (Richmond) just once a week, but are so popular here, they are considering opening a store in town. The man that comes is tremendously informative, takes his time, listens to what I have to say, and explains everything he is doing. He noticed nests I never would have seen. Tremendous company. I've spoken to them on the phone and in person, and they're honestly tops.

We had a bat infestation in our attic along with ants around the exterior (and occasionally the interior) of our house. PestNow was very professional and humane with their solution for the bats, plus was very communicative prior to stopping by for the periodic exterior treatment. Recommended.

Pest Now treated my new house for rats in the backyard. They did a great job and were so nice and flexible to work with. I really appreciated their good customer service.

I called the PestNow early in the morning because I notices there were so many big ants (my next door neighbor had just removed part of their deck) in my backyard. I had to get it treated because one I have dogs that hang outside and two I didn't want to destroy my property. The manager was very polite and they were very busy that day and he said he would come by look at and he did and call in his office and had someone come out within few hours. The young tech came and he was very nice and polite. I asked questions and he answer them all. He didn't rush on the job. The job was done this past June and as of today.... I have no problems. If I need them again.. I will call them first !! Thank you PestNow !!!

This service was outstanding. I've never had a need for an exterminator before and my husband was skeptical about the services. I called several providers to receive quotes and some were higher than this company, some lower. I made a decision to go with PestNow because of the extensive knowledge and passion that the sales person, Mike Newman, showed when I called. I briefly mentioned the small pest problem that I had, not wanting to give too much information so that I could let the "experts" talk about what they could all do and provide me with a reasonable quote. Well, Mike knew exactly what problem I was facing, went further to describe what the pests looked like, where they came from, he know how they operated, and proceeded to tell me another problem that I was having before I could even tell it myself. His extensive knowledge and insight sold me without question. It's now been about two weeks since the exterminators came and sprayed this "green-friendly" solution, and I have yet to see even one ant. Even outside of my home! Amazing! I highly recommend this company to anyone that wants a very knowledgeable, efficient, and fairly priced pest control company. Thanks again guys!

I was very pleased with the services provided. Both employees were cordial, possessed expertise in their field, provided detailed explanations regarding the pros and cons of each option, and answered all of my questions thoroughly.

This was the first company I contacted and spoke with a gentlemen whose name I forgot but he spoke extensively about the services they could provide and a possible reason for the spiders in my backyard. I was also concerned about the chemicals that would be used and if it were pet and kid friendly since I have two dogs that are like my children. He didn't rush me off the phone nor try to up sell me on products I do not need or didn't ask about. So I proceeded to set-up a monthly Yard Guard Program maintenance service into October for my large backyard. The day came when the first of 4 yard services were to be preformed and the technician Darius arrived on time, was very professional and nice. He answered any questions I had and was very quick but also efficient with his work. Service went smooth and after the first treatment I saw a huge reduction of spiders on my backyard lawn. I just had the second service performed and like before Darius was on time and worked very well. After the second treatment I didn't notice any more spiders and also ants which I hate on the lawn and on the concrete patio slab. I feel that the cost I pay for this service is very reasonable and worth it. I would have had to make several trips to local hardware chain stores to buy multiple products, not knowing if they'd work or be pet friendly wasting money and still have spiders.

It went pretty good, there responsive and the treatment worked. Since I purchased the 1 year plan, I have 3 more treatments.

From all indications, everything went well. Pest Now is prompt, no games with pricing or price gouging like some of their competitors. They explain exactly what they are going to do. I spoke with Terry and explained that an elderly relative had a serious roach problem that needed addressing ASAP. While we called around to get estimates, one large company wanted to charge over $1200 dollars - with a senior citizen discount if you believe that! In any event, after calling around to other exterminator companies, I went to Angies List and found Pest Now to do the job. I am happy about the cost of the year long contract ($340 excl. taxes), the responsiveness, and honesty. Their contract includes all of the things the larger company offered, just $900 less! I'm glad I found them using Angies List! I won't hesitate to use them again!

Adam was the young man who treated my property. He was very patient, knowledgeable and considerate of the children in the house. I am glad I hired this company. This purchase is for a year of treatments. I do need some areas sealed off, i.e. around a pipe entering the house from under deck, and two cages placed on dryer vents.

Initial visit, the inspector was thorough checking the inside of my house and follow-ups occur quarterly.

PestNow helped us get rid of the rats in our crawl space before we encased it. We got the one-year service through an Angie's list special so also had them check for mice and spray for crickets and other creatures in the house. They were prompt and professional, and have come back to check and conduct their ongoing service. We are happy with them and would recommend their services.
