PestNow brand was founded in Virginia in 1995 as Superior Pest Management when four high school friends came together to form their own company. Today, we have multiple locations in three states, and serve thousands of happy customers. We offer pest control; termite treatments and warranties; mosquito, flea & tick control; WDIs (real estate inspections); lawn fertilization & weed control; TAP insulation; and wildlife solutions for homeowners and businesses in the mid-Atlantic.

Description of Work: We had actually used PestNow a while ago and they were great in all respects. Unfortunately, the pest problem we had then resurfaced (though I don't think it was in any way the fault of PestNow) and their service has really deteriorated. The technician who was supposed to come simply didn't show up because he claimed he couldn't get into our parking lot (there was construction but only one entrance of 6 was closed). He then took the liberty of lying to the scheduling coordinator and telling them we had spoken and rescheduled. On top of all this, the office person simply could not get it together and put my contact info on the account so all calls were going to my husband at work. Very frustrating experience and I would never deal with them again.

Description of Work: I do think they are prompt in working with termites. The first time they treated my house for termites they said they would be gone, however the next season they returned and I had to have them come back and treat it again. Hopefully the third season will be all gone

Thank you for the review, subterranean termites are difficult and the spring season is often the only way to tell if there were any small pockets that survived. Our batting as average is as good as anyone, actually better than most in solving the problems on the first treatment, however, no one responds to warranty any quicker or more effective than we do. Warranties are important with termites.

Description of Work: When I initially made the appointment, I got several discounts (Angie's List coupon and 10% senior citizen) applied to my service. When the technician arrived he wasn't aware of the discounts that had been given. He accepted the lower rate that I had been quoted (even though he had been unaware of it) and was in and out of the house in a decent time. I feel like customer service is lacking in so many businesses these days but PestNow definitely understands the importance of customer service. I recommend them to anybody!

They technician is always on time (often early) and send an email me about upcoming service well in advance. They also email a detailed invoice the same day the service is performed.
