PestNow brand was founded in Virginia in 1995 as Superior Pest Management when four high school friends came together to form their own company. Today, we have multiple locations in three states, and serve thousands of happy customers. We offer pest control; termite treatments and warranties; mosquito, flea & tick control; WDIs (real estate inspections); lawn fertilization & weed control; TAP insulation; and wildlife solutions for homeowners and businesses in the mid-Atlantic.

Description of Work: I got an Angie's List deal for $340 for a year of pest control because we discovered we had mice in the house. I called Pest Now as soon as I bought the deal, and they had a record on their computer and were able to send someone out the next day. He was very knowledgeable and professional, and when he pulled the stove out was able to see many holes in the wall that he thought the mice were coming in through. He recommended that we have them patched by a contractor (it involved disconnecting the gas line, and it took the guys we called about 2 hours to fix the holes, so I wouldn't have expected the Pest Now folks to do it). He put a bait trap behind the stove, and three more outside where he thought the mice might be, plus a glue trap in the cabinet which had mice incursions. He made an appointment to come back in two weeks to check on things, and also suggested that we make sure they spray for ants in the spring (part of the yearly service).

Thank you for this review, a case where the stove was pulled out and proper sealing achieved, it is important to "close the doors" where the mice are getting in.

Description of Work: We used an Angie's List deal for an annual service contract. Chadd was excellent at addressing our concerns and treating our home. We ended up also using them for mosquito and tick treatment during the summer. Their price was better than any competitor and we were comfortable using Chadd for both services. He is wonderful and is responsive to any issues that came up that needed to be treated in between regular treatments. Additionally, their office is very easy to work with - helpful, accommodating to scheduling issues, and payments are easy. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Description of Work: Service went well and tech was very professional. As I was unclear as to pest control process, I did not realize that purchasing one-time offer would not address issue and I would need to then purchase additional services. In most cases the products we use will effect and are labeled for other pests so there are many situations the treatment will cover, so it is not like a 'select a bug" option or it should not be. Other pest(s) are more complicated such as animals (squirrel or raccoon or termites) the normal products and treatment procedure associated with regular pest control will not be effective or are labeled for those species. It is like going to the doctor and getting treated for a sore throat and expecting the treatment or procedure to take care of the cavity you have in a molar. If you are in doubt, in most cases it is an easy fix. Thank you for posting this.
