We pay quarterly and I like that it is an easy thing with no contract. We pay as we go and we can terminate when we feel like it. We like the professionalism of the employees and that they are considerate of the fact that I have a pet; they always make sure to close the gates and that sort of thing. They are careful with our property.

Very punctual, professional, they were really good. I'll use them every 3 months.

During the installation of my front door I learned I had some termite damage. After reviewing companies on Angies List I called and had someone come out from Superior to look over the damage (which was limited to the front stoop) and provide me a quote. I asked for them to spray for pests at the same time since they were going to be here. I was clear about wanting the termites treated at the same time as the pests and paid upfront. My in-laws were visiting and would be home so the idea was to have everything done, paid for, and for me not to miss two days of work. The initial technition I met with was great. He was professtional and repeated everything back to me so we were clear - I gave him my credit card and he called in the order and was supposed to cover both the termite treatment and the pest treatment. Unfortunately, that was the last positive experience I had with this company. The actual technition who came to spray for pests showed up and announced the inside did not need to be sprayed and was abrupt with my in-laws who indicated I had left instructions they would be spraying inside. He then sprayed outside the house contrary to my very specific instructions at the time I ordered the service and left. I called immediately and had them come back out and they sent the same technition out the next day who was very put out at having to come back and was rude the entire time he was there - to the point I just wanted him to leave. He sprayed the basement and left - I then recieved a bill in the mail. I called and found out they had not properly billed me the first time which left some confusion with me that I was being charge twice. Overall I found my interaction with them to be unprofessional, unsatisfactory, and frustrating. I found the technition to be rude and there is obviously a lack of communication from the time you order to what service you actually recieve. I will not be going through them in the future.

I don’t think they are as good as the used to be; they aren’t as personable. It can be a challenge to schedule them but the service is okay. I really liked it when they sent me reminder cards or emails but now I’m calling them reminding them to come out. I would like them to go back to having a personal relationship with their customers.

We are satisfied with them. They provide excellent service. They have managed to control the bug problem, and the situation has very much improved.

Very good experience. They arrived, treated the house, and even accepted a coupon for $25 off I found in Valpak. We paid only $60 out of pocket. It didn't totally fix the issue we had with carpenter ants, but they made a follow up visit for free. That was great! I didn't personally care for the attitude of the gentleman (I used this word tongue in cheek) who came to perform the follow up. He was a little rude and off-putting. I have no experience with exterminators, and so since it was a follow up, I thought it be appropriate to show him where we were still having issues and needed to target. To which he responded to me "I know how to do my job". When I responded that I didn't mean to insinuate that he was incompetent, but rather thought he expected me to give him that information, he just made a face and shrugged it off. Perhaps he was having a bad day, I don't know, but I wouldn't fault the company for the attitude of one person. I am mentioning it in order to give my full impression. The pest problem is SIGNIFICANTLY better. Great value.

Extremely rude customer service and sales representatives. They hang up on you if you object repeatation of information

I called and easily made an appointment. The exterminator arrived on time and was very professional. I explained to him a place where we had seen some ants and a wasp flying around the backyard. He serviced the interior area and exterior. The part that was nice was rather than trying to charge me for a first time visit (approximately $ 125.00), they said the previous owner of the townhome had service from this vendor so I was only charged the quarterly service fee of $85. They also explained that anytime I see any pests of any sort, to call and they will come out and service the area at no charge since this is covered in the quarterly price. I have not seen any pests since they serviced the home but am very happy with the service. Thank you.

Always professional and helpful with solutions!

This company has been really great. The same guy comes to my house every time and he knows to call aead so I can let my dog out to take care of his business before the spray is done. We hae had several retreats durring the 3 months between services and they are great then too. Came out to check on a few problems for us along the way. We have ant issues on our patio, but they have helped us understand and take care of the problem. Really great service.

Discovered termites on my deck stairs -- called Superior (new name is Pest Now) based off of neighborhood recommendations and Angie's List rating. An employee came out the very next morning for consultation. We scheduled both a termite treatment, followed by a pest treatment (will be quarterly) for the following Saturday. Three hour window was given -- termite employees showed up first and not long after they left, the pest guy showed and worked with us to cover all areas of concern. All done within the 3 hour window -- all employees efficient and professional. Pleasure doing business with this company!

They did a good job and I will continue to use the same in future.

The Quarterly Pest Control is ongoing, great, it is noticible difference, a lot less pests in the house. Solving the bee problem was included at no extra cost, so that was nice. The raccoon removal cost extra, but they had to come several times and check traps in the attic, always on time and was done according to proper live animal removal rules. I would hire them again.

They schedule well in advance. They do the service whether or not I am home. If we see pest after the fact they will come out and take care of it at no additional charge.

I can't separate your two questions. As I said above, I am pleased with the company and service, but upset that after many years of paying for termite protection--and never having a termite swarm--the one time it happened my warranty had lapsed. I think the office should have made an effort to determine if I wanted the policy to lapse

They come quarterly to do the inspection and treat the outside and the inside. We found out we had termites shortly after we moved in and they came right away and treated everything. We have had them on quarterly ever since. The guy who usually comes out is really nice. I have no problem letting him into my house and all around my basement. They have been really responsive. If I see anything moving, they will be there as soon as possible. I don’t know who runs the whole thing. They have girls that answer the phone. They are usually able to pull me up pretty quickly. There is nothing outstanding there, but I really like the guy who comes out to the house and takes care of me. When my husband was deployed overseas it was when we first had mice, and they came right away, helped us nip that problem right in the bud and I haven’t seen, smelled or heard a mouse since. We do pay a quarterly fee of $85. I have a warranty. Another thing I like about them is that they always ask if there is any other problem because sometimes things slip my mind. When they did the whole house inspection, they actually found some dry rot happening in my attic that we had sprayed. I never would have noticed that or the broken vent if he hadn’t seen it. He pointed it out to me. I checked it on Google and it was for sure we had a broken vent that was venting wet air into the attic, and it was creating some problems. It surely did save us a lot of trouble and money, I like them for that. I have been very happy. I don’t know how to rate them on price because I didn’t really shop around. My neighbor recommended them. I would continue to use them in the future.

We haven?t had any problems with termites or ants. They do a good job.

I have two annual contracts with them; one for termite control and one for general pest control. I don't usually see them when they come out to do the work. I don't typically see them more than once a year. They come and do periodic treatment for termites and carry out inspection. It's difficult to know whether termite services are working or not, but I don't have any reasons to complain about them. At the times that I have priced services their pricing has seemed to be about average. They leave me notes on the door when they've been here which explains if I need to cut down trees or anything. They are easy to reach.

They are responsive when we have an issue, they are on time, and they are reliable.

They come in and do pest control because I don?t like spiders. They always send us a notice in advance of their visit and then they come. If I am not available to answer the door or something, then they will just do the outside of the house. If I want them to come in and do the inside, they will schedule. We have had them out before. They have been very receptive to any requests I have had. They do an excellent job. They charge about $85 for both inside and the outside. They haven?t done the inside in a while because I keep forgetting to change the dates when they send the notice asking me if I want them to do the inside of the house. I have been very happy with their service. We have had them for two years now. They have been spraying every other month or every quarter. The guy that comes and sprays is very professional, good, friendly and clean. You don?t have to worry about him walking around the house or anything.

It costs us $85 for the work. They are very consistent and professional.

I recently purchased a three-level brick row house on Capitol Hill that had passed its pest inspection (the inpsection reported was provided by Connors Pest Protection). Unfortunately, three months after moving in I detected swarms of winged termites gathering inside the house near the windows. My understanding of termite behavior is that they swarm during warm weather so seeing evidence of termites in autumn was rather disturbing, but we had been having a warm spell so maybe that was a contributing factor. Rather than call Connors, who apparently missed any signs of termites during their inspection in June, I contacted Superior. From the scheduler, to the inspector, to the technician who actually treated the house, their personnel are very responsive, friendly, and punctual. I was able to schedule an assessment quickly; the inspector came, saw the termite carcasses near the windows and found mud tubing as well, and scheduled treatment within the week. The technician came promptly and worked quickly. I did not rate the quality of their service since I have not idea how effective their treatments are. I imagine if I get through a year without seeing more swarming activity or evidence of tubing, that will be indicative of effective pest treatment. Superior is supposed to return in one year for an additional treatment (at no additional charge). Note: Termite extermination was a rather messy process. I have a three-level row house. Termite swarms were found around the front windows of the basement and first level of the house. The treatment consisted of drilling holes into the ground outside and in the lowest level of the house, which has slate floors. I appreciated that the technician was careful to drill only into the mortar between the stone slabs and not through the stone itself, and he swept up the debris and dust but he couldn't do so very effectively with the little duspan and broom he had with him. If your home is treated for termites in a similar manner, I would recommend that you request their technician bring a vacuum or more effective cleaning tools. I had to spend quite a lot of time vacuuming, dusting, and mopping after the technician left. Maybe that is standard following any termite treatment, or maybe my case is an exception because of the slate floors, but cleaning up all the dust was pretty hard work.

It's tough for me to give a knowledgeable review of Superior Pest Management because I've never needed extermination services before, but I'll try my best. I used this company to rid my townhouse of roaches that were coming in from the neighboring unit-- I was seeing about 5-10 a day when the problem was at its worst. I called a few of the highest rated companies on Angie's List, and went with Superior because they had good prices, sounded knowledgeable, and returned my message promptly. Initial treatment of my townhouse (kitchen, bathrooms, and perimeter spraying) was $155 with the $30 off coupon. This entitled me to additional treatments every two weeks for the next three months. After the three month period is up, I had the option of extending the service for another three months for $85. Fortunately, the problem was cleared up by then, though it did take the entire three months before I was no longer seeing roaches in my kitchen. Appointments were relatively easy to schedule; Saturday appointments are available, but you need to make them a few days in advance. The same technician came each time-- he was knowledgeable and courteous and always arrived within the 3-hour time window I was given. The treatments were quick (about 15 minutes) and eventually did do the trick. I was mistakenly charged for my last treatment (still within the 3-month timeframe), but was able to get that resolved easily with a phone call. I would use this company again.
